I hate to tell you this but Duke now sucks. Your team our rival is dead. That program died last year. Your coach was there since the 80s until last year he was the goat. 🐐 We know. Your team sucks without Coach K. I give up early on Jon Scheyer. Y’all have got some problems. Duke will never again be what it once was. The only thing you guys have got going anymore is Jeremy Roach. He’s the only basketball player worth a darn you have anymore. But he won’t be there for very much longer. Roach is the last great thing you all have he is the last of Duke’s chapter of greatness. Once Jeremy Roach is gone Duke is gone. Even the crazies at Cameron are not what they used to be. Even they have settled down. The program of the greatness of Duke all went downhill with Zion before Covid. When Zion Williamson played his first game in a blue devils uniform in Durham that day in 2019 was the day your program died. We spoiled your party in New Orleans last year. Caleb Love’s three pointer spoiled Coach K’s retirement party. Scheyer will never replace Coach K. Look as a Carolina fan I always hated Duke but we respect what Coach K did. Mike Krzyzewski is never coming back. Those glory days at Duke like when you watched him live from Greensboro play NC State at The ACC Tournament getting let out of school early in Greensboro with Hardee’s, and Food Lion logos on the billboards watching on old screen TVs with wheels like in 2005 are long gone. They’ll never be back. But have the fond memories of those Duke days. Never forget Christian Laettner, Grant Hill, Marvin Bagley III, Sheldon Williams, JJ Redick, Shane Battier, and all the others they are all long gone but have them in your memory as a Duke fan. I know it’s tough I know it’s going to take awhile to adjust to the new normal at Duke I know it hurts but life sucks sometimes I get it. I’m just being real with you. I know you miss him I know you miss Coach K I get it. Life goes on. As a Carolina fan I miss Roy Williams. I miss Tyler Hansbrough I miss Ty Lawson I miss Sean May there are plenty of things that I miss at Carolina but unfortunately we all just like in life need to face reality change is going to happen. Some change is good, though. Does this mean Duke is going downhill? This is just a guess I don’t know it could mean that Duke will become winners again. I’ll tell you though Jon Scheyer needs to start winning some games. He lost quite a few already he lost the other night again. He lost to wake forest in Winston Salem last month. He’s got some work to do. He can’t keep losing games. Y’all have got to start winning some games your coach is not doing very well like I said he can’t keep losing. If y’all want to be great again you can’t keep doing what you are doing. Y’all can’t keep losing like this. Brace yourself. Even if your new coach does end up being somewhat good he will never surpass Coach K in the number of wins. At the very most you all are an NIT team the way things are going there is no way you are going to make it to March madness this year. I just don’t see it happening with Duke if they continue down this path things need to change now. I mean in the next game.
Just face reality you guys need to win. The only way you all have a remote chance of making it to March madness with Duke this year is to win every game from here on out, and then go to Greensboro to the ACC tournament, and finish in the top five then there might be a chance other then that if you all keep losing there is no way I’ve got news for you. You have to just win. The possibility though besides the NIT is you all could be a bubble team on the bubble with talks from somebody like Jerry Palm, and Joe Lunardi but that won’t mean that you will be in it if you win a few more games. If you all keep losing games there is no way that you all can go to March madness. It will not happen on gods green earth. You all have to win. Otherwise, there is no way that you will have an automatic bid. Period. If you win games then yeah Duke has a slim possibility of being one of 64.
