Yeah, this dog and pony show spilled over onto a game I was actually interested in. They just cut off the end of my game to broadcast the tip off of this one.
I just flipped over to the MVC semifinal so I could see some real basketball by quality teams.
Duke wants nothing to do with Loyola Chicago or Drake. But yeah, let's stop the whole world for coach K's final game. I can't believe the refs weren't paid off in advance to insure a Duke win here.
I honestly don't know why they didn't just cancel all other college games on this day.
I think the commentators, media, and analysts were all pissed that they had to be bothered with any other games than this one.
I hope both of these teams completely implode their dynasties and tradition after this season.

It’s June 3, and I just watched it again. The only thing better was the Final Four. So freakin tired of the K retirement tour. Coach Smith was the winningest coach of all time when he retired, but he didn’t want all the freakin pomp. dook will be forever chasing the best program in college basketball. Go Tar Heels!

The last time Duke had 5 NBA players playing. Tonight they only had one. Ranchero is starting to tire as the season goes. Thats not Duke's biggest problem. They don't have a point guard. This won't hold well in the tournament. The Heels are better suited for a one an done in this situation. But the Heels are playing with house money an if I'm a higher seed in their bracket I'm getting nervous because they are starting to play at a high level. Go Heels!

This game was great, but it wasn't enough. Now, beating Duke in the final 4 on Coach K's actual last game... that was the finale.
The Chef got served a big L for his last home game by the true kings of college ball.

Imagine being Coach K and having to live with that for the rest of your life. That would suck! But, he's rich so I guess he'll get by.
This would have been the icing on the cake if Duke had won which he assumed he would. But instead it became a PIE in his face he will never get over. He don’t tend any games because the memories are too painful. He should have chosen his last home game someone he could beat--definitely not Carolina.
That was an AWESOME game followed up by a repeat performance in the Final 4 to send Coach K into retirement with a loss.

I agree to an extent although rankings do matter for seeding in the big tourny and confidence in general. Just saw the new AP Poll has them at 25. The dub against Duke was huge for confidence and entering the rankings right at the end of the regular season shows that their raising their game right at the perfect time. This team is dangerous and could do some damage this post-season.

Pure bliss. Nothing could be finer than to beat a bunch of elitists on their home floor for Krzyzewski's final game. I watched that man get all the calls over the years, this was one game where he should have brought his checkbook like so many nights before, but I guess he figured it was a given. It wasn't. But shortly after this, the win in the Final Four for Carolina was even better.

@@waldolibby4391 What makes a good Carolina team almost impossible to stop is their non stop attacking of the defense. They don't stop running until the game is over.. A lot of their players suffer from it because it isn't a realistic style of play and something an NBA team would never adopt..
