Revenant never did it for me from its introduction until I took a break from GW2 a couple of years ago. That said, I am playing a ton of it after coming back to the game a few months ago. Between boon herald, heal herald, and power vindicator for group PvE and Lord Hizen's condi vindicator build for open world, I am rarely logging into any character but my rev these days for more than 10 minutes at a time.
Love that one player being blown away at start xD However build? I don't like it. Why Harrier's? Why 100% duration if you're camping in glint anyways? Mace and shield without tanking gear (and with power gear instead)? Also camping staff is overkill if you're already camping Glint with Generous Abundance. I personally preffer condi build with Apothecary/Minstrel's/Viper's mix with rune of the Monk. For weapons mostly sit in mace + axe and swap to staff when needed. However with that stat combination you can be tanking, so then you can swap to shield depending if you need block or more CC from axe. Swap is staff, but I swap to it only if the situation gets heated or CC is needed (staff has very powerful CC you did not mention). If you're camping Glint aiming for 30% boon duration is enough. If you want to swap comfortably - 70%-80% is enough.
Sounds like a pretty fun tank build! Mace/shield are just there for extra combo fields/blast if you’d like as mentioned. Also, it was mentioned somewhere in the video, that staff 5 is nice breakbar damage.
this is a cool build for herald , regen heal , condi cleans , and protection , the only down side for this class is it doesn't have brust heal like the druid or tempest ... your main healing skill are over time ( regen )
Hey bud I was wondering instead of monk why not use dwayna to make the regen more bulky, yes you lose so concentration but you will still have 100% uptime on all the boons. Just want you opinion
I did some testing with superior runes. I tried Monk runes and Dwayna runes (gives +20% regen effeciency), and turns out Dwayna runes makes regen heal for more. It’s marginally more, but the bonus is always there with Dwayna runes compared to Monk runes where you need to keep uptime to reach max output. But I reckon if one is used to the healer role you probably won’t have a problem with Monk rune uptime
@@green_mark Yeah I can definitely see the benefit of 20% incr. from monk runes versus on just regen ticks from Dwayna runes! I'm not very experienced with the healing role, hence the wording in my original comment 🙂 But nice to know the monk runes are easy to maintain on healherald! I'm gonna start dappling in it from now on 😀
Hmm with full harrier, you should get the base hp, but you have 19k, which items has health on it? Btw great video! I've just starting to heal with herald, and try it on my first raid, I hope it will be good :D
@@spudzie9117 Well I did all of the raids with this, and a few CM raids too, but the regen + staff heal is only enough for experienced group that's for sure, but it's do the job, I can easily save people with the tablet in a big range too, so it's awesome, I love it!
What do you use for burst healing? I've been trying to use the centaur to burst heal on encounters like Vale Guardian but it feels not as fast as a druid... Is it just a timing problem?
im working on medium leggy armour and mostly play pvp but want to branch out once i get my leggy armour, are there any builds for medium class that are good for raids,strikes,fracs etc?

I am new to gw2 and want to be a healer as iv healed in most mmo. Would this build be ok in open world with the harriers gear or should I choose celestial gear to start with and make a open world build and then get a set of harriers for when it healing raid and fractals

Hey! I would suggest two alternatives: 1) Using the filter of the trading post, search for Healing Power, exotic quality, and sort by price. They options won’t be Harrier, but will provide a decent cheap alternative for around 30-40 silver per piece 2) get stat selectable gear through various meta events. Metas in Verdant Brink can give Bladed gear, which you can select the Harrier stat from for free. There are also a few cheap stat selectable gear pieces on the trading post. Type “Ebon” for the shoulders) and “Ice Golem” for the helmet.
Phenomenal work!. Heal Herald has been the secret sauce to break me out of Heal Firebrand jail. So nice to have a decent alternative.

It has burst heal, just take tablet. Actually its probably the highest burst heal skill in the game, u can get 10k+ heals with it on a 2 sec cd

With healherald you have 0 problems keeping the monk runes up. So it's a 20% increase in overall allied healing compared to 20% only on regen ticks.

Glad you enjoyed :). It’s not extra items, it’s a herald trait, and reinforced armor buff from interacting with an anvil

Yeah it could be. Staff 4 plus ventari should be a lot of burst heal.
What do u think about alacheal renegade? Is it still viable? If it is, how is the build? What boons can be offered by alacheal rene?
It’s not really viable anymore, there’s just way better options since EoD.

Yes. Those are my least played specs. However, Holosmith has a really nice dps build atm.

The best for open world would probably be minstrels as you get added survivability. Celestial if you want to dps too with a hybrid weapon.

Ventari was bugged at the time of making this, but you don’t need Ventari healing, dragon does enough.

I'm pretty sure the f2 doesn't extend the boon duration until you consume it, just having it active doesn't seem to do anything in my experience
Having it active increases the duration of outgoing boons, seeing as how you’re spamming boons out, it’s effectively an extension.

@@cypherdk85 if you’re in dragon stance it should be doing that. Any boons you output have increased duration with that up.
