Daredevil dual pistol is much lower intensity you can just set the 3 attack to autoattack and you are immediately at 20k if you mark you get +10%, solo unbuffed you have around 16k, since you have 100% uptime of fury and 25 might stacks.

Idk, the push mechanic is not for me, i would rather love a death match mode instead, would be really fun and just focused on the combat

Its not gonna save gw2 pvp. The biggest problem with gw2 pvp is the balance and the combat system itself. This combat system is not ment to be good for pvp. The whole boon system is about stacking and zerging, its hard to track enemy spellcast or anything. Maybe some veterans knows every fking animations after 12 years of nonstop playing but for new players it not good and not fun. I love a lot of things about this game, but every time im starting to dive deep in pvp or wvw, the game simply burns me out and the end is that I quiting for a couple months.

On respawns, they should take a page from FFXIV's Crystalline Conflict and make it so each death you suffer increases your respawn timer for the rest of the match.

Regarding the respawn timer. It shouldn't be changed. What should happen is that each time a play kills an enemy they get a stacking buff that lasts for a short time which makes the objective move quicker when they're on it. This way it keeps the fights constant while punishing people for trying to respawn rush.

Agree it’s very very fun mode. Want to see more maps. Not just for this mode but PvP in general. You nailed one challenge. 1-2 support on a team, that team will win ! Just as challenging as having a team with 2+ grief spammers (blind, vulnerability, poison, immobilise/stun, etc… hard to counter. I can also see match manipulation becoming a thing that’s far easier to do in this mode than the others. As not everyone seems to know that you need to stand in the circle to make it move lol

Mmm I really don't like this gamemode. Too many builds are useless here, full of bunkers. Some games are lost before they even began due to team compositions. Big NONO for me.

As someone who has 5k games played in pvp and played since launch, yes this game mode is superior to conquest. Don't get me wrong conquest is great, but too complex for the average gamer and guild wars pvp has been dead for eons. This is the best way to renew it and with a little effort from Anet can be great

There is actually already a debuff mechanic for bunkers on the node. Or did you mean something else?

As somebody who plays a duelist/roamer, this game mode is pure ass. sure you can roam further ahead and try and stall respawns, but the entire thing just feels so damn bland, no thought to respawns, objectives, 2v1 node stalls or map control, just zug zug on one point. got very stale before placements even finished, and had no desire to even log in since day 1 because of it. I hope this isn't the future of spvp, otherwise the future feels pretty bleak.

Working on this now and it's rough. Not many people do Gyla Delve and I can see why. The Soo-Won meta is so epic though. I just wish it didn't take ages to get there. I think it would be way more popular if it wasn't for that.

how do you do weapon master? Im an old player and I can't seem to fix match weapons and specialization. is this a wvw thing only? can I use it in pvp?

What weapon should I use without owning SOTO/weapon master training?

Can hammer work with power herald instead of the great-sword (for pvp/wvw especially)? I don’t have SOTO or EOD so gotta find a sweet spot with whats available.

The animations genuinely look like they're in slow mo. Wouldn't be surprised if the animators animated them at normal speed, and then the balance team came in and tweaked them to fit the cast times. Also watch at 1.5x speed and it looks normal, so 100% they slowed the animations by that amount lol.

Low intensity builds are awesome for us south americans who play with 200 ping, it's impossible otherwise
