Thank you so much for sharing this! I did not want to start messing with powerful acids, this seems much less hazardous!! You two are awesome. I am about to start rubbing out my first Andamooka that I got from you on Opal Auctions. Wish me luck!
Another brilliant & super easy & fun to watch video. It actually is allot EASIER THAN I THOUGHT... TO TREAT THE matrix, without Acids... Thankyou Again TEAM GUNN. 🦄
The whole process is mega exciting. I will try it with different stones from the Alps. I'm really looking forward to the results.... has never been tried before.... Most of the stones here have pyrites, a lot of very small quartz veins etc... The wise man tries Let's see what happens... Cheers
@@OpalAuctions53Frogs Thanks Mate for the info. Have the first batch in the oven now at 90 degrees and will leave it like that for 4-5 hours. I'm really curious how the different stones react to it. I'll keep you posted...Maybe a Mega Super Tooper Ultra stone will come :)
@@OpalAuctions53Frogs oh, thanks for the tip with the airing. My wife will be "very happy" with me again :) Anyway.... thats the price of living with me.... laugh out loud I'll call the mega stone : Swiss Sparkle :D
Does treatment like this give the same results as the acid method. I have some andamooka I would love to treat. Would you take your stones to 400 grit or 600 prior to treatment when shaping.
@@OpalAuctions53Frogs there in the oven now will definitely show you the pictures it’s like Christmas can wait to see the little stones. I put them in sand in the oven.
@@OpalAuctions53Frogs thanks... was hoping to do this with my grandkids - all 11 hahha! Could you set a price the next time you get some instead of auctioning it and, if you think about it, let me know. Thanks!
