  • I've made dozens of these over the years. You can make them whatever shapes and designs you can come up with. Easy to do and pay a fraction of what smaller fake looking headstones cost. Four to eight of them (Depending on size) will cost you around $60!!! They look fabulous at night. The more of them the better,,,

    If you hit the surface with a wire brush, that weathers nicely to.

    Impeccable Content. The most thoroughly narrated and demonstrated tutorial I have seen. We are using your video to make our dozens of gravestones for our Mansion Haunt. Toccata and Fugue Great Ambiance Music to Get in the Spirit of Creation.
    Thank you

    Never EVER SAW drill or cut foam board without an N95 MASK! all that dust is inorganic & remains in your lungs permanently until death

    Great work. Just need to shade the edges to the cross for more depth. Great work

    Awesome! But I would recommend you put your darker color down first then dry brush the lighter color since you are not using a wash or anything.

    I bought some very expensive tombstones because I’m a horrible artist. Is there anything I can put on them to protect them from the weather elements? Great vid

    Is there anyway you can post a list of supplies? Like color of paint, the type of paint and brand of paint, etc.

    • @EpicGuysVideos
      @EpicGuysVideos  8 років тому +1

      Colors are your choice, just need 2 contrasting colors. Brand doesn't matter, buy cheapest. Type doesn't matter just don't use spray paint, the solvent melts it.

      Thank you! That's good to know cause I probably would've bought spray paint! LOL So jealous you can make these!! But I gonna try it! :) Thanks for the videos!

    Must be an east coast thing as they do not sell this foam or similar material in Southern California.

    So many tombstone tutorials on youtube that turn out lame and amateurish. Yours is one of the better ones! I gonna try boring the ground post hole with a hot pipe like you did (there are other ways to do it also). Inserting a length of PVC and inserting it over a length of rebar driven into the ground is another way to do it.

    Try monster mud, it makes the paint look more realistic.
