2019 Volkswagen Jetta SEL Premium - The Baby Audi Returns

- Finally making the switch to the MQB platform, the latest Jetta takes everything we love about the current Golf and add features and tech that will really appeal to the American consumer. A large back seat, standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a plethora of driving assistance tech make the 2019 model even more appealing. The only 8-speed transmission in the segment also make the Jetta one of the most fuel efficient and quick accelerating offerings, when this new model goes on sale next month, we have little doubt it will continue to be one of the best-selling models in the VW lineup.

Amazing how half the comments are talking about how the styling is boring. Have you never seen a vw/audi before? That's how they style their cars, they're always clean and reserved styling. That's why this car will still look new in 15 years. This is the small sedan for adults who don't want a corolla that looks like a plastic alien space ship with a big mouth
Love this reply !
"Alien ship with a big mouth" - took the words straight from mine
One of the best replies.
Sorry the new Jetta is ugly AF. Would take a Golf or any other car over this hideous grill and yellow headlights.
@@SaraK_69 the inside is nice as fuck though and I love the rear end. But I'd honestly rather get the new s5 tbh
This car should not be mentioned with a corolla. A corolla is no where near as good as this.
Just wait til the Corolla redesigns for 2020, it's gonna be better than this
Baasil F. It’s not going to have the tech the Jetta has. It might look nice but the Jetta has a head start.
Remy Burton how do you know what tech the Corolla gonna have? You work for Toyota?
Baasil F. I work for toyota at a car dealership. But going off what they are doing for the 2019 Avalon and 2019 Rav4 2020 isn't going to be the year they do digital cockpits and things like that. Design I think they'll nail just not on the tech side. The 2019 Avalon and Rav is only getting apple car play. They didn't even go a step farther and add Android auto. That tells me alot.
Remy Burton lol you're right. The only advanced thing Toyota is doing rn (tech wise) is adding Alexa to their vehicles, but other than that, all Toyota is doing is making mechanical and styling improvements
10,000 jettas sold per month.
Ford: Everybody wants crossovers, time to ditch sedans.
demarc Ford sold over 300,000 Fusions a year for a while. Thing is, sedan sales are declining in the US. Even sales of Honda Accords and Toyota Camrys, cars significantly better than Volkswagen Jettas or Passats, are seeing their sales decline. Meanwhile crossover sales are increasing and sell for more than sedans. I don’t like the idea of Ford ditching sedans, but I can understand their decision.
who is EVERYBODY???? its not me!!
as you see more platforms like mazda and Nissan offering awd in there sedans, I see no reason why people would need crossovers. barely any more trunk space and no matter in the snow.
Ford and Volkswagen are partnering
@@kyle223cat out that 300,000 fusions sold... Most of them ended up with transmission problems lmao. Lawsuit was filed... Then Ford quit lol
I just bought one of these cars this last weekend. Same exact color, SEL Premium. I like the car alot so far. The 1.4t does a very good job of getting this car along when mated with the 8 speed. I see about 40 mpg daily. Very comfortable car and great build quality.
Brag about the digital cockpit...bro
I just had a 2019 as a rental. Averaged in the mid 40's for our extensive highway driving this weekend. Outstanding to get this kind of mileage and not be crammed into a style-less shoebox! I liked it a lot.
Did it break down yet ?
I bought a '19 Fusion AWD Sport last mo instead! Close call tho.
حياة غنية I’ll pee in yo butt
Wow I'm surprised the touchscreen is ahead of the game and looks so modern. You said it this car will age well.
Good price too
Taking fake exhaust to the next level...
Ty _ like what’s the point of it even? I cringed when I saw the real exhaust hidden underneath the car body.
They stay clean.
I love how im just a 14 year old watching these types of videos🙃
you’re 17 now, are you ashamed of this comment?
@@honey-gw9fdWhat’s there to be ashamed of?
The SEL Premium now comes with the Cold Weather Package with no extra charge. Heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, remote start from your key fob, and heated windshield washer nozzles
.
Wasn't expecting this review up so fast. Great work. I really like this car. It's very understated.
wow....1st new gen jetta review on UA-cam
Y B Fr!! I am soooooo excited 😆
If a Taurus slept with a Sonata
Mick Rob couldn’t put my finger on it but you hit the nail on the head!!!
Give me a new Taurus SHO over any sedan under $50k!!!!!
Everybody in here is complaining about *Something* with the car and I'm just here like "That's hot.... that's hot.."
I have a 08 528i and I am frothing at the mouth because I found a 2019 sel for 15k
3 biggest mistakes, getting rid of the 1.8t engine, fake exhaust tips, and no rear vents or rear heated seats
Small oversights. This is a great car. Looks better than anything in it's class.
defiantly miss the 1.8t, 170 hp, 187 ft lbs torque. however the 1.4t doesnt feel suggish, and the 8 speed transmission makes it still feel very bright and fun to drive. I hope the 2.0 shows up in the GLI!!! Exhaust tips are whatever... luxury car manufacturers are doing the same thing, i prefer this look then being behind on that has the cool cutout but an ugly stock pipe dangling in the middle, not to mention this car tops out price wise around 27k and change... and lets admit, the interior, and fit and finish are outstanding with this price point!!!
Nikela Pollard I drive a 1.8T, it's a phenomenal engine. I've driven the 1.4T also & it's pretty remarkable. Possibly the best small engine made today. I do however feel that they can get more HP out of it then they currently are. Love this new Jetta. Totally outclasses in looks & quality. Can't wait for the new Passat.
Torsion beam
D'Arcy Sweeney the customizable ambient lighting makes it super fun
It’s growing on me, but those rims are hideous.
Agreed. They look like they came off the current generation Honda Civic. SMH.
Agreed
Not digging the front grill, I’m sure it’ll grow on me though
You can actually option 2 different options that look ALOT better. One set is similar if not the same as the r line wheels and look really good.
They look like they’re supposed to be on a hybrid
I watch a lot of car reviews, and this guy is my favorite. He is so mater of fact and concise. Great job!
That is why, I always go for German made cars.
This car is made in Mexico
Najila assembeled in mexico
german engineering the best !
oii , you mean assembled?
I was waiting to a review of this Mk7 Jetta for a long time, Thanks !!
Hey guys!! We wanted to clarify one available feature. This trim in the video is missing the late availability “Cold Weather Package” which bundles remote start, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, and a heated windshield for $495.
Wonder if that heated steering wheel could be retrofitted into a MK7 Golf.....
Boomer Roberts Probably could but that would be to much to do for a heated steering wheel, wear some gloves call it a day.
Eh, depends on your priorities. Interior comfort is pretty high on my list and the heated steering wheel in our Chevy Bolt is heavenly, so it's always a little disappointing every morning when I get in the Alltrack and don't have a heated steering wheel. Previously, to get a heated steering wheel in a Golf you'd have to import a part from overseas, which is both expensive and also harder to find the correctly matching parts. If this shape/style of wheel is now in the US with a heated option, it should eventually be much easier to source.
Plus, I plan on keeping my car long term, so retrofitting stuff like this can be a big benefit when you're looking at the bigger multi-year picture. Best scenario would be if the MK8 Golf gets heated steering option in US, then that might theoretically be really easy to retrofit! Unless they move to a new steering wheel design...
Boomer Roberts Got it, if you plan on keeping the car long term by all means go for it, me personally I would not go thru the headache that it will cause, in any event if its that important go for it.
And the Cold Weather Package will not be available on the S trim level -- the only one available with manual transmission. Bummer!
What a great comprehensive review! Had all the info I wanted plus more! Your vocal delivery is among the best I've heard. Good job! Happy to subscribe to hear more from you!
It's good to see Sofyan in good health. God bless.
Michael, I think you forgot to take your meds?
This is a really well done, comprehensive review. Good job!
Great review...you do a great job with your reviews!
i can’t believe you came to my city and state that’s amazing i watch everything you post such detailed videos about new released cars !
I’ve been waiting a year for the new Jetta and I can’t wait till they become on sale! Very excited
The rear lights are just like the 2017 sonata
YTDC exposed wtf? How? 😂 I thought they looked almost like the new a4 taillights. But the front looks like a Taurus ):
@stephan D look it up dude. I have the 2016 Sonata Sport and that was the first thing that came to my mind they are almost Identical
You nailed it bro I swear you’re the best
YTDC exposed you nailed it sonata rear
Excellent review as always, Sofyan.
Love the dash on this Jetta. Reminds me of MB dashes from the 90s.
I like the exterior styling too. Some of the lines, esp. the side profile, smack of the current Fusion - the beauty of the midsize class IMO.
Ahhh, Beautiful Jordan Lake. You drove right by my house on Farrington Rd. Your video on the 2016 Jetta helped me buy it. I love the 1.4 t engine. Never lacked in power merging with highway traffic and passing on rural NC two lane roads, and I always get around 40mpg. I’ve clocked 65,000 miles so far and no problems yet.
Love your reviews, bud. Quick and on point.
THANK YOU for using a wide angle lens!!!! Much better for actually looking at the interior.

I love how you are so comfortable doing the reviews. As always, great job.
Best Car I've driven so far, it's pretty good on gas and the road. I rented one, used it for 2 days it was awesome. I usually look for road stability and no road noise this is a good car.
Definitely good starter car for college grads.
Idtelos This is a good car for just about any age group and definitely for a college grad if you’re lucky enough to afford one right out of college.
@@BabyBugBug lmfao ikr what's this guy on about?
Oh yeah dude, good STARTER CAR for them broke grads out there. Not that Jettas are expensive now or anything.
I own the 2014 jetta 1.8T SE and I’m upset vw is no longer making a 1.8T
I have a 2017 1.8T, it’s no rocket but it does well enough both around town and on the freeway. I had a Jetta 1.4T as a dealer loaner, and it was miserable on the freeway. It can barely hold freeway speed, especially up hills or upwind, and forget about passing anyone that isn’t stopped off the side of the road.
i really like the dash layout, modern tech but a very user friendly tidy setup,it doesn't look overly crowded and complicated, well done vw.
Really pleasantly surprised with this one. Lots of standard features and the car rides nicely and the engine has a small output but feels much more sprightly. I love the 8-speed auto and the interior is very upscale looking and ergonomic.
The nicest looking interior in the compact class.
derek webster Mazda says hi
Before these new gen Jetta were released, the only reason to buy one (in my eyes) was because they had the beautiful sounding inline 5 mated to a manual transmission. I wish they still offered that engine option.
It’s now only reserved for Audi
Saw it at the NY auto show last week and fell in love with it. I had a 2014 Jetta then traded for a 2017 Tiguan but after this lease definitely going back to the Jetta. Very Impressed!
Best car reviews on UA-cam. Thank you Sir
Just upgraded from an MK4 Jetta to a 2013 CC but this new Jetta is beautiful 🔥 Still Team Jetta at heart 😭 Nice review 👍🏽
Fareed The Tailor I bought my first car in June, 2012 Jetta tdi. Never changing cars now
Why are companies using fake exhaust? It's like fast and the furious all over again . Ricer stuff......I saw it on Audi VW and even a Mercedes. Can someone explain why is this a trend
Some shit about less vibrations since its not connected to the bumper. I call BS, they probably don't want to cut out the bumpers for time and cost.
ForeignBorn Patriot They're definitely full of shit, as the exhaust doesn't touch the bumper in something with real tips. Vibrations are dampened by rubber hangers anyway.
aerodynamic efficiency will be improved due to easier control by not having the traditional cutout. Fuel efficiency and packaging is the name of the game.
We got rid of a car for this reason because we like to have the windows down and we were constantly smelling the exhaust. Unless the wind is blowing it to the rear when you're stopped it's going to come inside the car if the windows are down, it seemed even when the car was moving at certain speeds the smell would still come inside. The good news is now the soot doesn't get all over your bumper.
My mom has a 2010 Volkswagen jetta 2.5 and I find it to handle very well and it really picks up speed quick, it can really take a beating.
The 2.5 is a strong motor. It will last forever. I have a 12 Jetta Wagon.
you are the best auto reviewer on youtube good work yet again
No rear air vents in a sedan is just lazy cheap engineering... complete miss..
Andrew Rae none of the compact sedans have rear air vents. They do on midsize and full size sendans.
It’s crazy, I drive a Mk5 Jetta and it has read vents. Crazy Volkswagen is really going backwards on the new Jetta
I have a 17 cruze and there are vents under front seats
That new 6yr 72k miles warranty though😁😁😁, VW winning me over
It's going away
GuitarGuy Not until next year. I work at a VW dealership, and all of our 2019 cars still have it.
@@AbdonPhirathon I know, but 2020 models won't. So it's going away.
GuitarGuy but the new warranty with still be longer then most the competition. 4yrs/50k miles
@@pbentsonable fine, but with VWs record, the 6 yr was right.
My 2016 SEL was totaled in an accident! I got the 2020 R line with cold weather package, I preferred R line because it had better looking wheels then the SE, SEL and SEL Premium. I do miss my 1.8 engine from my 2016 but the drive is so much more smoother in my 2020! Great review, will watch more of your videos!!!
Good video review. Evolutionary rather revolutionary design.
Will put on list of possibilities. Reviewer has on nice shirt.
At 185.1 inches long and 70.8 inches wide, it's a pretty big "baby" -- it's longer and wider than the Passat of just two generations ago! And yet, it has less front and rear legroom, a smaller trunk (14.1 cu.ft. according to VW's web site), and even a smaller fuel tank than the Mk6 Jetta. Not to mention the lack of a manual transmission in anything other than the base S trim level, and the torsion beam that replaces the fully independent multilink rear suspension. And curiously, 3 less horsepower from the 1.4T engine.
VWestlife yes. Very good summary of the video lol
Yea, wtf!!
VWestlife "3 less horsepower than a 1.4t engine" haha that's a real deal breaker huh?
ansaree97 the dealbreaker is the lack of significantly more hp
I sat in the back of the previous generation and had ample space at 6 3. This one is pushing mid sized dimensions.
I went to the dealer and it's so true, thought it was just like the a3
Just picked up the Execline (SEL Premium) 6 spd manual. Love it. Had the 2011 MK 6 TDI Great reviews!!
I really like your reviews. Beyond a thumbs up, I think your reviews are polished and un-biased, so thought I'd let you know.
Bought one and lovin’ it! Thanks for your review.
me too!
Blake Whitfield how do u like it? I’m leasing one tomorrow
He talks about this being the top trim, but the GLI has always been the top trim with the bigger engine and the sportier suspension.
TheHvk The GLI is technically a separate model in VW’s eyes. They told us they are working on it as we speak and we should be seeing it reintroduced soon.
if you are using Android Auto can the Google maps/nav be cast to the instrument panel display or does it only live on the center screen?
Thank you so much for this review. So well done. I'm car shopping right now and salespeople don't do the walkaround because they don't have to. Everything sells. I can't fully get a grip on the trim differences.
VWs are much more classy and mature than other cars in their segments
Very nice car! As the owner of a 2017 S3 that's maxed out with Full LED lights and their technology package, I am still jealous of several of the features this Jetta has, except for the power and AWD, of course -which is why I bought an S3! Maybe something like this for my son's first car... ;)
I love it! Very mature styling and no crazy swoopy lines!
Good video, well presented. Enjoyable and informative.
Most of the issues I have with this Jetta are reasonable for it's price (torsion beam rear, underpowered motor, some missing interior features) but I wouldn't put up with them on the higher SEL trims.
That said, I'd imagine all of these issues will be rectified on the GLI and that should be the model to get. As far as Jettas have been concerned though, the best choices have been to keep it cheap and reap the benefits of the lower models price saving or get the GLI. I don't see the value proposition in loading up a Jetta to upper SE and SEL trims at that point.
Audi A4 on a budget!
Quality without the badgewhoring!!
Except you can get a 2.0T on an A4
This car is a solid value for what it is, and I’d probably recommend a Jetta GLI over an A3, but it’s no A4. That has 252 hp, 273 ft-lb of torque and all wheel drive when typically equipped.
And a much better interior with better tech and significantly better handling/grip.
If only it had tdi 4motion.
Stepping up your soundtrack game, nice :)
You're a great reviewer!
I really like what I'm seeing here, except for the fact that VW STILL will not address the volume knob graphic turning with the knob.
I’d rather them address this awful trend of using fake exhaust tips then the stupid volume knob. It’s an insult to people’s intelligence....well, some of us at least.
Omg that bothers me sooo much!! I had a 2017 BMW X1 rental and the radio knob did the same exact thing so it must be a supplier!
I hear ya! The OCD part of me hated that - I used to own a 2010 Jetta
I only use the volume controls on my steering wheel because of that lol.
Super glue 😭😂😆🤣
Damn this car looks beautiful
I recently purchased a 2019 Jetta Execline which is a trim in Canada . I’ve noticed a certain sound that comes from the engine , it’s almost like a ticking sound with a grinding noise. I’m not quite sure if this is normal or something to worry about? I’d love for you to touch on this subject Sofyan.
Ticking sounds during idle it's Normal fuel injectors. And grinding noise during low speed gear change, its torque converter and is fine. People are going crazy over it as if they never drove a manual car and Never did an upshift earlier than required. It's Normal sound
Finally the design changes
I love it
Looks as if a Ford Fusion and Honda Accord had a baby
Kinda remind me of a Ford Taurus
I put the two pictures side by side and I don't really see what you guys are talking about.
ford fusion? why? does the steering wheel detaches in the jetta also like in the ford? the go into fire mode, and falls apart?
Coming in hot with this review!

Really enjoy your videos. Appreciate how articulate you are compared to others. I’ve owned an MkIII and IV and loved them. This newest one just doesn’t do it for me. 😪
Good review - thanks! 😎👍
Got this as my 1st car :)
How is it?
Such a beautiful car
What’s the difference between Execline and SEL? I have no idea and I’m not getting my answer from google. Someone please help!
I picked up this car new, in February 2020. SEL Premium with Nav and same color. They had it marked down to 24k since it was a 2019. Came with remote start and rear heated seats also. It has decent handling and decent acceleration, and all the other toys mentioned. I love it and plan to drive it 7-10 years.
Probably gonna get this car today, what’s your current opinion?
A Jetta Wagon SEL would be perfect!!.
🌚👌🏿
That reminds me of a 2008 Chrysler Sebring with that hood. Still a nice update nonetheless I suppose.
I just bought a 2019 vw jetta SE and mine came with remote start from factory so.it does come with it
Is it possible if i want to change the push start button to the old school key ignition start?
The previous generation Jetta looked sleek and classy. VW really missed the mark with this design. That boring color doesn't do the car any favors, either.
So many people hate on the comments section on this car but have you seen it in person? He is right about the upscale feel, it looks very nice when compared to other cars on the road. Go check one out in person you'll be surprised. Just because it's different than the old Jetta doesn't make this one ugly as so many put it... god damn haha
Looks roomy. Cant believe this is called a compact car.
Unfortunately, in the United States, people are getting bigger and bigger every year. Ford had to stop making cars because it would have been too expensive to make their cars bigger.
Can anyone tell me what color this Jetta is? I went to the VW website where you can build a 2019 Jetta. This one almost looks like dark metallic brown but that color is not listed. Next up is Platinum Gray, however you can not get the light Gray seats with that option like in the car in the video has. You can get Sage Green with the light Gray colored seats, but I'm not sure this car is Sage Green. There are no other possibilities, at least on the build your own Jetta page. So what do you guys think the color is? Thanks.
Yippie We actually thought it was Gray at first too! But this color is ACTUALLY the sage green. It looks really nice in person, and the lighter interior color looks great.
Thanks Sofyan. I appreciate it.
I love watching your videos!
Glad I got the 2017 GLI. The new styling isn't doing it for me.
You probably won't be saying that once the new GLI comes out
Good choice man what color
Is it me or do I see a Nissan Quest resemblance up in the front?
Jesus Ramirez lol a little
Jesus Ramirez I see it also where the light meets the grill...
totally
I can see that as well lol
Jesus Ramirez Well now I’ll never be able to unsee that. That’s fine though because I wasn’t that impressed with the car in the first place.
Sofyan, I’m moving to California within 2 weeks. So, I’d like to know which is better: Jetta SEL or Sentra SR 2020? I saw you drove both, and they cost the same price. P.S.: I love feeling the gears changed and reduce the speed with motor breaking using the gears, so that’s my problem with the CVT. But, Sentra has ceramic brake pads material. So, tell me about your impressions. Is better go with the Tiguan? Thanks a lot.
Way better in person. Front end actually reminded me of the newer mustangs in the front in person. Can’t wait to drive one
No rear vents, empty blank buttons, fake exhaust tips....yeah I'll pass
You mean Passat? xD
Don't forget no more independent rear suspension and 1.8T option.
On a SEL trim, it's unacceptable....I agree with you.
Those blank buttons are filled in European models with options we don’t get here, it’s a global car not like they can magically get rid of those button blanks for different markets...
Sam Mehta They're not going to sell the new gen Jetta in Europe though. This is just another example of VW cost cutting for our Market
I wish these car experts could dig into the reliability and let us know how well built they are and if they will last.
Over a million miles without an oil change.
Traffic sign (ie speed limit)recognition availability?
Since we are all sharing our experiences, I'll share mine.
My dad owned a 2003 VW Jetta 2.0 (non turbo) in silver, back in about oh 2008-2015. I was allowed to use the car to commute to college and my internship back then and I grew to love the budget yet semi-refined presentation of the car (soft touch plastics, materials and overall interior/exterior design INCLUDING the gas strut).
My dad's 2003 Jetta was an automatic with transmission overheating issues, so when I eventually went to look for a car of my own I wanted another Jetta. I found a 2015 one at a Carmax like dealership. Same color too. I eyed it up and down, then asked to sit in it, and that is when the desire was killed for me.
The newer generations of Jetta feel smaller on the inside, the seats felt smaller, the interior felt crap. The plastics felt harder and seemed to replace many of the soft touch plastics. I raised the hood and it nearly fell on me (this is when I noticed the absence of the gas strut). The iconic orange-red tach needles against the blue gauge cluster, gone. Standard heated seats, gone. There is more I could complain about but I'm ranting enough as it is.
The long and short of it is that VW buyers used to be a niche of people that wanted budget luxury, an economy car+ with nice styling if you will, and were willing to pay a little more to get it. VW has, since about 2013 started cheaping out on their cars (at least the Jetta, it's what I was interested in and looking at) in order to attract a broader consumer base, and in turn has alienated the niche it once had.
Oh, and for those that are interested.. I now drive a 2016 Special Edition Camry. Not the most exciting car, but it's better than you'd think if you've never driven one. Plus blue seats and blue needles/purple gauges are pretty awesome.
The rear looks exactly like a 16 Hyundai Sonata.
Tan Truong mo o
the whole rear end is based of a sonata even the tail lights
It looks like my 2017 Audi A7 especially from the rear I think Volkswagen did a great job on this vehicle it looks awesome all-around
i’m not gonna lie, the thumbnail is amazing
What are your thoughts on the auto "stop/start" feature? A lot of people don't like this. If you decide to turn it off, will it give you any kind of annoying warning that it's off?
I can't get behind this. VW learned nothing after the previous Jetta debacle regarding rear suspension.
Why the hell they decided to cheap out and go back to a torsion beam instead of an independent rear suspension, I don't know.
You said it right there... cost is the main reason and VW said owners of the Mk6 didn't notice the switch. After driving this new one, it still rides and handles just fine, is the the sportiest? No. But that's okay with VW since the market cares more about a compliant ride and keeping cost down.
I think VW is lying lol
There's no way people can't notice a difference between torsion and IRS on rough pavement
This car is aimed at the automotive appliance market. Check off the Apple Carplay, Push button start, heated/cooled seats, backup camera and a couple other gimmicks and the buyers are happy as the buyer of a new Visio TV from Walmart. They see IRS and think, "Damn, I have to finish up my taxes."
masterwhopper414 you are giving people FAR too much credit. If the rest of the system is designed properly, then 99% of people will not notice it at all. The overwhelming majority of people have zero idea what kind of suspension setup (or anything about geometry at ALL) they have in their car, they only hear phrases like 'independent rear' or 'torsion beam' and whatever someone tells then is bad, then suddenly becomes bad.
Don't tell them and let them drive the car, and they'll be just fine with it, most people are not engineers, nor understand mechanical engineering lol.
It would be a waste of money to put in an IRS in all models until the model has had some time to recoup the enormous development costs. You save that stuff for the very few models that people are more likely to want that in (aka GLi), and then later on in the cars production run you can offer an updated model "now with independent rear suspension!!!". Put everything in their from day one and you've not done a great job managing that portfolio at all.
It's the same reason they choose very specific models to launch with, you front load the launch so you're in a position to actually make money on the later models.
They didn't upgrade to the independent suspension last generation because people complained...you don't move a machine that enormous because of something like that unless it's an ENORMOUS problem (like the 2012 Civic situation), because it costs enormous amounts of money and time to set that up. The IRS was planned to show up exactly when it did, and they did that before the car was ever sold.
I have a 2017 Volkswagen jetta i should've waited Damn Me!
But id rather just trade and save for a Volkswagen Arteon😉👍 much sexier
The fake exhaust with no holes is because of the soot from the exhaust staining the tailpipes. VW isn’t the only manufacturer to take this approach. All direct injection cars have this problem. But they could have just left off the chrome trim and made it a hidden exhaust with a regular bumper cover.
Im still driving my MK4 jetta wagon... Still runs strong :)
