Since the smith machine bar is in the back, can you bring a bench inside and do incline and shoulder smith machine press without the back weight stack getting in the way of the bench? Also is that a 2x2 upright with 1 inch holes? Would you guys ever consider a 3x3 smith/functional trainer similar to The Dane from Fringe Sport? Thanks.
Absolutely! You can definitely bring a bench inside to perform incline and shoulder Smith machine presses. The distance from the weight stack to the middle of the Smith machine barbell is about 23 inches. For optimal use, we recommend positioning the seat part of the bench facing the weight stack. This setup ensures perfect alignment of the bar and bench for your incline presses. Keep in mind that some larger benches might not fit with the long side facing the weight stack. While the SD-3000 comes with a 2”x2” upright and 1” holes, we offer the SD-4000, which features a 3”x3” upright for enhanced stability and functionality. Can the low row and pull down both stacks (i.e. the 320 lbs) or just a single stack of 160? How far out will the cables go (i.e. cable travel) given the 1:1. (Love the 1:1 but is there meaningful sacrifice in cable travel). Do you deliver/service in Canada?

Does the smith machine portion go right to the bottom so you can perform hip thrusts?
