- The Michoacan friction hitch is an other friction hitch that can be used in your tree climbing system. The Michoacan friction hitch is not as well known as the more common friction hitches like the VT or the Blakes hitch.
The Michoacan friction hitch grabs reliable but might be a bit harder to break free then other friction hitches after it has been loaded. But if you are looking for a reliable friction hitch the Michoacan friction hitch is worth a try.
But you can also use the Michoacan for saddle hunting or many other climbing purposes.

Love it. I work for a professional line clearance company and this is the exact knot we use. This video is a perfect representation of this knot and how it should be taught.
Probably the best How To for the Michoacán on UA-cam. Simple, understandable, no garbage intro, visually perfect, straight to the point.
Thank you! The things you are describing are the exact reason we started this channel.
Great how to video! Very understandably!
Thank you, glad to hear!
Great video!
Thanks! Glad it has been useful to you
Nice
Thank you! Always great to get positive feedback!
Same structure as the Blake's minus one turn.
Most friction hitches have a lot in common. The all start with some wraps around the climbing line😂
If a clove hitch and a prusik were to have a baby
Glad this one releases a bit easier then the clove hitch :)
@@WoodenShoesHomestead 😂🤣 cloves are just girth hitches that wanted to be different
What was your first language I have to know
