The Bachmann Hitch knot | friction hitch

The Bachmann hitch is a simple climbing hitch that can be used to ascend a climbing line. The carabiner provides a handle which can be used to advance the Bachmann hitch up the rope. Do not use the carabiner as a tie in but attach the climbing harness to the Prusik loop.
