Thr new forest green the VZ can come in is fantastic. Beating the blue imo. The free vapour grey is the next best choice. It looks agressive in the matt grey.
@@CarObsession the only thing that lets that Forrest green down is they Cupra lettering is in brushed chrome. What's that about 🤷♂️ Cupra means copper in Spanish, and the copper pops. It's the thing 🤦🏼♂️ Well it's not because of the Forrest green. Any colour you get the VZ in the lettering is that brushed chrome effect. I'd have that in my local body shop and have the letters swapped. If also take the VZ of the back. It just looks cleaner with just Cupra in the rear. I wouldn't be bothered people not knowing what I had, partly cos the VZ badge doesn't look special, and mainly no one even knows what a cupra is now, never mind it's skews. Still la great looking car, I've got a V3 59kwh e boost in vapour grey on order. I do like the blue more, but not £700 iirc more. Now when I had my Leon ST FR the bohemian purple was worth the £900 iirc, and the emerald green in my GTC was a must. I think that was £700 too. But I'm happy with the Matt vapour grey on the Cupra. Also it matches the granite grey Dinamica seats too. It's all very tied together looking. I'm my opinion anyway. You can get the seats in blue, which if you got the blue car mat look good, but I preferred the grey seats to the blue, and the grey in grey, tho sounds dull really isn't on the Cupra. Imo.
@@StephenButlerOne Hiya Stephen, Cupra isn't Spanish for copper, that would be 'cobre'. The Cupra name comes from the shortening of the phrase 'Cup Racing'.
@@CarObsession ah yes sorry it's derived it colour from Latin, but seat for the racing. I got a little mixed up. Either way from day one Cupra's ISP was copper trim. You knew it was a fast seat cos of the copper trim. And it looks brilliant too, why break a tradition.
Cupra Born is a very nice car, just a shame its part of the Volkswagen Group with the touch sensitive buttons, just wish the VW group can change the touch-sensitive sliding buttons to the manual touching knobs or buttons
@@FJx36 seat and Cupra in 2019 had an amazing sterling wheel on the leon. The one they replaced it with in the leon and Cupra, was a big down grade, really cheap feeling in comparison to the precision 19 wheel. As much hate this new Born wheel and it's buttons are getting it's a nicer wheel that one that replaced the 19 wheel. And it's still inside in the leon. I was in the show room last month as I ordered the Born, I sat in the Leon cupra and was amazed how much of a down grade the interior was to the 2019 lean st FR (non Cupra) car was. Also it feels like it's grown a while segment size. It felt massive in comparison to my old Leon estate. Which was basically an Octavia vRS estate in a prettier frock.
@@bshah4831 yes that version also has a more off ABS setting too. It's a strange limitation choice to put on the system I've always thought. The new VZ als had the same ABS more off function.
How fast is fast for you? You seem to enjoy the acceleration with your "ooow and aaaw" sounds when accelerating but before that you say it's not that fast.
Overall it's not that fast, but because it's electric the initial acceleration is very impressive as the torque is instantaneous. Hope that clears things up, thanks for watching Phil.

The 77kw V3 Born does have the option for Pilot Sport 4S tires.
