Catching bream with Hard Body Lures over the flats

A cracking day for Round 3 of the Action Fishing Tournaments comp on Tuggerah Lakes. 50 anglers hit the water to lure their 3 biggest bream for the 'weigh in' at the end of the day.

Great work mate! Couldn’t crack the code this round myself. Pre fished it a few times in heavy wind but that glass out hit me for six!

Congrats again mate. I was fishing the same flat but stupidly left it and then came back to it too late. I was the last to leave that spot, was wondering who it was in the lynx just ahead of me. Would have been a bumpy paddle back for you!

Thanks Jamie. I wish I'd gone straight there instead of going towards Chittaway! Actually, the ride back was better (and quicker) than I thought it would be. Which was nice for a change. 😂

@@CarlDubois You and I both mate. I got my bag early on at Chittaway then had to endure the peddle up to that flat. By the time I’d gotten there it definitely wasn’t as fired up as it proved to be for those that chose that spot first. Hence why I moved on and came back to it late! Oh well, lesson learnt.

Thanks Graza. The rod is a Gladiator Tackle Psyborg 1-3kg Nano Graphite. They are about to release a new range. The reel is a Shimano Stradic Ci4+ 2500FA.
