HOW TO use the MAESTRO in Twin Tensioned System

- MAESTRO is a descender designed for technical rescue operations. It facilitates manipulation of heavy loads, for lowering or hauling, and may be used in both the primary system or in a back-up belay. In this video we will show you how to use the Petzl MAESTRO in a twin tensioned system. By sharing the load between two ropes both ropes are pre-stretched, which reduces the potential extension in the case if one rope fails. Also, with one person operating both devices, it's easier to match the tension in both systems.

In this video they use 2 sling on the plate to give ideal direction to the Maestro devices, they also affirm the possibility of using micro Swivel, however according to what I experienced, there are several configurations with which the M or L plate will not be compatible with the Swivel open system, after an inspection of 5 Swivel open had to be discarded due to lever force and excessive play!
Can I use the maestro as a personal ID for lower friction?
