This was an awesome and informative video and showed me so many things that I have missed when doing beer can chickens. Where can I find the biker chicken setup? Love this video Captain Ron, keep them coming and thank you Boss.
Hi Tony and thanks so much, we are so glad that you got some good new info. There is a link to the motorcycle stand in the video description. Tom's Ridickulous Things is the name of the company
Was that Heineken I saw? I thought you said *beer* chicken, not lemonade... Greetings from Belgium ;) Thanks for all the vids: learned a lot and always fun to watch!
If you look at a live chicken...you'll see that their legs are yellowd all the way to their "knees". 😁 That yellow at the base of the drums is the residual outer skin on the legs. 🤷 Great video!
Nice! So if you didn't know Ron, I run the service department for a motorcycle dealership! So I absolutely love this! And I'm always down for bleu cheese!
That chicken is so YUCY!!!! OMG!
Oh, yes sir, thank you Ninja!
Will be trying this recipe soon on the BGE, thanks for the idea!
Hope you enjoy
That looks so awesome! Great combo with nashville meets beer can!
Isn't it great when 2 worlds collide like that?????
yep
great video and delicious chicken
We are glad you enjoyed it, this was both fun and delicious!
Nashville HEEEEAT and that bird was pretty. Nice cook
Thanks Ann, we sure appreciate you always tuning in!
I've made beer can chicken many times and never tried the onion. That is an awesome new technique! Thank you!
You are very welcome David, I'm glad it helped!
Looks really tasty, great job!!
Well thank you, you have no idea how much that means to me!
Nice job Ron! Love using my BGE with Fogo for chicken.
Thank you Rob! It really does make for a tasty bird!
I’m going to try this method this weekend
That's great Brent, let us know what you think!
My mouth is still on fire! This is a tasty treat that is really easy to make.
Yes sir, this was definitely fun....and tasty!
Capt Ron...should I have foil over my deflector to shed the juices/greases that drip during the cooking process?
Absolutely. Now, this is just my opinion but I believe that all of those oils and juices seep into the conveggtor and in time, causes it t crack.

@Fogo Charcoal now that’s how make chicken! Love the content!
You know it Fernie, It turned out so moist and delicious!
*you make
@@ferniec6004 lol, I got ya!
@@FOGOcharcoal I take it Heineken is your choice of beer? Nashville hot is definitely my favorite. I love the awesome flavor and the gentle heat !
@@ferniec6004 You know what, I don't really find too much difference in the flavor of the chicken from one beer to another.
Way to early to be this hungry lol
Haha, come back, watch it again later!
Juices were just running out everywhere. Yummy! Did you taste the onion plug? I bet that was tasty!
They certainly were Mr Birthday Boy. I did, the onion was fantastic.

Hahaha, too funny! Glad you're enjoying the videos.
Well hello there juicy chicken! mmm!
Well hello right back at you.
thats a Nice Bird!
Hey Kyle! He’s a cool rider for sure!
Ron do you think you can still pull of a good chicken if you don’t have time to dry brine overnight?
Oh absolutely!
If you look at a live chicken...you'll see that their legs are yellowd all the way to their "knees". 😁 That yellow at the base of the drums is the residual outer skin on the legs. 🤷 Great video!
Hey, thanks for that!
those yellow tips are from the chicken feet remember the chicken feet has some outer layer skin on then that's kinna tough, that joins with the joint.
THANK YOU!!! I was genuinely curious
the actual leg/foot of the chicken is at the end of the drumstick. That's where the yellow comes from
Thank you Bud! You are the only person to address that!
I don't have any duck fat spray... would avocado oil spray work?
Yes but I find the Duck Fat Spray to help crisp a bit more. It's available on our website.
I think Bob wrote Roll Me Away after having dreams of this cook. 😂
🤣🤣Too funny, we can just “turn the page” on that one! 😉
@@FOGOcharcoal that would just make me a “Beautiful Loser” if you did that. 😂
great personality, Ron. Love your vids!
Well, thanks Brandon, much appreciated my friend!
Where can I find the music from this video ?
Sorry, I don't know where it came from.
I am making it this weekend! No blue cheese though:)
I can fully understand that. It is traditionally served with dill pickle rounds and a couple of slices of white bread. Let s know how you like it!
Do you tend to baste half way through? Just curious. I’m a blue cheese guy myself so do t listen to the haters!
I do not baste. I subscribe to the fact that moisture is the enemy to crispy skin.
i love this guy
Awww, love you too!
Awesome 😎 I love me some beer 🍺 chicken Cap!! 🔥🔥💯💯
It just has so much flavor and is always so juicy!

Very cool! Which dealership?
@@FOGOcharcoal Was Miracle Mile Harley Davidson (closed unfortunately), then Bellmore H-D, now Indian of Long Island.
I'm a retired NYC paramedic tho.
I think I could smash this whole thing myself! Looks awesome as always - great stuff yall!!! 💣
Yes, we can totally relate. Lets just say that it was not long after this picture that there were only bones left.(and burning tongues)
