Kent has so much decency and respect that he'll take his own hat off to keep a friend dry in the rain, even if that friend is a dead chicken with a can of beer stuffed inside it.
right on
It seems to me that the least he can do is keep the rain off of that poor little yardbird...seein' how he done shoved a beer can up its butt! 🤪🤣
I'm hoping that break as you "supposedly poured half that beer down the drain allowed you to pour it down your throat. 😅
well the seasoning would wash off so...yeah
I love how you always give them pups a bite!!
Gotta feed the fur babies ♥
@@RedRoseSeptember22 yes maam! I have five dogs two are rescues but I couldn’t let them go so now I have 5 🐶💙
Thanks for saving some pups, and for watching
@@CowboyKentRollins no problem! God Bless!
I always love the sound effects whenever Kent has to go rummaging for something off screen--especially the cat yowling, lol.
The recipe looks really yummy too!
The cow mooing got me lol :D
Glad you enjoyed it
@@RedRoseSeptember22 the squealing pig sound got me.
Thank you for Mentioning our veterans. You're a quality person and I love your videos
A Fosters beer can works great as well. The extra diameter really helps to keep it stable.
For those in europe, a can of Faxe might be even more stable (and you be glad not to actually drink that stuff). Only getting the bird on that can could be a bit of a stretch...
You da man
I use iron maiden the trooper. It's a flagrant beer. Not much of a fan of drinking it but as soon as I drank it I knew this is being used for cooking.
My mom's version was the only time she ever named a dish she cooked.
"Pollo borracho"
Sounds much cooler when you are a kid.
Honestly I’m watching the 3rd season of Barbecued on Netflix and you’re on it so cool! I’m a grill man myself and appreciate the time you put in your videos Kent!
I’m watching that too!
Been watching this channel for months, always cool to see someone out in the country teaching true cooking! Alaskan grown myself! Keep up the good work! Salute from Mexico
Thanks for watching
@@CowboyKentRollins appreciate the comment brother 💪🏾
I tried this yesterday, and it was by far the best chicken I have ever made. Moist, tender, and just the the right about of spicey flavor. I did add a few strips of bacon to it as well, which was delicious. Hats off to Mr. Kent for this recipe!
"Make sure you get everybody greased up well.".....good life lesson there!
Trying this out Sunday my wife wants this
I wish my wife was talking to me
@@Vishalsinghyt1980 I wouldn’t suggest using the UA-cam comment section as your therapist

Tell her it might sting a bit, maybe start with bottles 1st.
Talk to her and listen.
Kent you represent everything that's right about America, God bless you and God bless America.
My dad used to make Beer Can Chicken for the 4th when I was a kid. Nice to see you putting something like this up.
my mom used to make this once every other week growing up. It's amazing how tender and juicy it turns out. She used Budweiser all the time
I picked up a mini fridge at a yard sale. I grabbed a small desktop fan at Wally World. I dry my chicken off with paper towels then place it in the fridge with the fan inside blowing on it. I air dry it for a few hours before grilling. Great crisp skin.
That's a great idea! I hate putting raw meat in the fridge, uncovered.
We been doing those for years. I season the inside also and put an onion chunk in the neck and pin the skin rotate every 30 min . I use the holders and put it in a piepan with some beer. Cheers Kent
Thank you sir... I'm a retired Marine from the Gulf war.... Great show.. I love beer can chicken so moist
thank you for your service
This is the most wholesome channel on UA-cam. God bless this man. 🌞🇺🇲
I love how Duke and The Beag backed up when Mr. Rollins started dancing. ❤️
First time I heard this accent was when I joined the US Army. 15 years after ETSing, I still miss it. 🥲 It always meant good news regardless of the miserable situation we were in. Someone with that accent always saved the day. Weird but true.
Kent: ‘pour in there some Clove’

Ok...who else would gladly listen to a CD of Cowboy Kent singing old country classics? (raises hand)

me
I had already started making mine. I was 10 minutes from putting it on the grill. Now I got to stop and see if I'm doing it right.
Nothing like having the dogs, friends and family in the backyard while the smoker works it's magic
For sure
Completely agree 👍 👍
I did a whole turkey this way one time. Put the beer in a 46 ounce juice can. Worked like a charm.
I have a stainless steel chicken roaster that has a tray, support (no tipping over, no matter hiw drunk the chicken gets!) and a can with a perforated screw on top to put the beer, wine, juice, whiskey, or whatever in. No plastic liner inside, or paint on the outside of the can to worry about getting into the bird.
We all need someone who gives us as much love/care as Ken gives that chiken
Your videos and Recipes have kept my family and friends happily fed! Keep up the great work Kent! Cooking this today!
SO good to see that good ol’ America ain’t done yet!!! Thanks so much… ❤️
One of my favorite summer recipes, my mom taught me a nice spin on the recipe: you take a tall boy of beer, empty half of it into a cup (to drink of course) then replace the missing volume with ginger ale or lemonade.
Sounds good
Cooked this for my parents and they loved it
Always great videos of awesome food. Keep up the great work Kent and Shannon!
Good show and Great to see the pups!

I love just watching you grill and cook Kent! Your channel make me hungry everytime I watch it. God Bless and have a happy 4th
One of my favourite ways to cook chicken, whole family love it. Usually do it with a craft beer rather than a lite ale.
Love the video with all the extras in sound effects and b roll. I guess I have to thaw out a chicken and do this!
right back at you. thank you for being you!
God bless you, Mr. Rollins. You make these look so easy and following the recipes does make it easy.
The hardest part for me was getting my cast iron frying pan seasoned but now I refuse to make scrambled eggs without it.
Every. Morning. I love scrambled eggs.
Going to have to try making this beer can chicken soon.
Love the sound effects!
Happy 4th of July!! I love your recipes thanks for sharing them with the world.
Speaking of Kentucky Fried Chicken, I ate 12 pieces of it today! It was on my bucket list for a while.
😂
Kent , I love your channel and your positive energy . Cheers
Looking good. Great video as always. Chomping at the bit waiting for the release of ole Bertha. Looking forward to seeing it.
I have tons of Sand Plums in my west pasture, they worked well. My alfalfa and brome has enjoyed the rain my Hesston 310 is ready to go to work. My wife loved this recipe of course I enjoyed the rest of the beer.
Thank you for the wonderful video and God bless you and your family.
I just find this yesterday and this channel became my favorite channel right now
I really like your spices kent. And the mesquite spatula. Thanks again
So glad you are enjoying them
Best one yet Kent.
I know what im making this weekend
Looks terrific! Thanks for the tips to make a nice sweet and flavorful glaze.
My pleasure
Kent, I've been following your videos and style for years and confessed to you that you are making me a hero in the Kitchen and on the grille. But this Beer Can Chicken recipe has put me over the top. I did substitute here and there. I used apple butter jelly mixed in with the glaze. It came out a masterpiece. I bought the chicken can holder on Amazon. You Sir, are the king of the Pit.
I've made a basic version of this a few times. I like the idea of glazing. I've always faced the breast meat away from the fire. Thanks Cowboy!
Enjoyed. Great job!
I've been debating what to throw on the grill this weekend and I may just have to get some our chickens liquored up. 😄 HAVE A WONDERFUL INDEPENDENCE DAY!
Hope you enjoy
Thanks for the videos, my dad was from hollis and this kind of reminds me of him when i watch the videos.
Thanks for watching
I used to make this fairly often quite a few years ago. I always understood the beer is just supposed to add more moisture to the inside of the chicken. I never would have thought to flavor the beer. You the man.
😁 The sound effects always makes me laugh and I enjoy seeing you dance the Cowboy Chef Shuffle. 😁
Looks delicious! I bet I would have friends if I cooked this in my yard. Amazing. I didn't realize how long ago Chopped was but I haven't watched TV in over 5 years. So glad you're on You Tube.
Looks great (as always!) Thank you Mr. Rollins for all your recipes and humor!!
You are so welcome

Hey Kent, we saw you last night at the Huckabee Show taping. It was nice to see you, wish they spent time talking with you during the show. Hoping to come to one of your book signings soon, God bless you brother!
Good folks they are, would have been great to visit with you
My dad make beer can chicken with a paps blue ribbon a galic salt chili powder a a Weber grill branded chicken rub mixes it gets a giant needle and injects the chicken with it and it is the BOMB!!!
My Thankyou has to go to you Sir for your Channel and Teaching me to be a better Cook 🍳 🙏Happy Days
my two favorites beer and chicken
My Choofi (uncle) made this when i was a kid lol asked me to grab a piece, went for the wing, and the bone slid right out of the chicken X,D this still one of the best Cookout/BBQ dishes
“Give it a little more greasin’....love to learn cookin from you Uncle Kent! May you and yours have a blessed Fourth!🇺🇸
Beautiful, my mouth is watering. Thank You.
Love me some beer can chicken! And now, I've got a good use for my wild Chickasaw Plums that grow on my place!
I like to add 1 or 2 tablespoons of Zatarain's liquid shrimp and crab boil seasoning in the beer. That gives it so much flavor!
Johnny Bush is one of my favorite country music vocalist! I’m so happy you referenced him!
We always smoke one of 2 turkeys or deep fry one to mix things up. You need to do this as long as you don't get the turkey stuck on your head like Mr. Bean. Bless you my friend.
Thanks for watching and God bless you as well
Hi Kent! Great video. You have a wonderful crew helping with your productions! Give 'em an extra pat for us. Great recipe! I always use 1 part mesquite to 4 parts hickory and/or applewood, otherwise the mesquite overwhelms the other flavors. Love your Texas country cooking (I'm in TX).
Thanks for watching
Another great recipe thank u Mr Kent can’t wait to try this one God bless
Hope you enjoy and God bless you
I love the *can do* attitude!
Thanks for always watching my friend
I love making beer can chicken. The glaze is what I have to try next. I like a hoppy beer for some additional spice in the bird, too.
Gotta love Mr Rollins passion

That looks sooo good
Looked good. I'll have to try adding some goodies to the beer next time. I never done that. Nice Tip
