- As the world faces a shortage of surgical masks, authorities are urging us to leave them for healthcare workers and patients who have contracted the virus. In this episode, host Diana Ser goes behind the scenes at Singapore’s main surgical mask factory to find out if the nation will ever be completely self-sufficient when it comes to surgical face masks, which are now a matter of national security. She also evaluates reusable face masks on the market to find out which mask is able to strike a balance between safety, comfort, and price, to best suit your needs

You should have included coverage of mask with a valve. I have read articles that these masks are not great for the protection of people around the wearer. Because the valve allows the breath to go out in a jet, unfiltered.
Congrats to Singapore for good efforts against Covid. Here in Penang, I sewed several fabric masks for myself, relatives and friends. I use 2 layers of polyester and 2 layers of cotton on the inside. There's a space for an extra filter, if needed. Comfortable and breathable. But I use the 3 ply masks that I bought when I need to go to clinic 😷🙏
Can you provide captions? I’m deaf....😅

In my UA-cam app for this clip, you can turn on the auto generated English caption. Most words should be captured correctly
LΞmon thanks 🙏
Don't forget the temasek reusable mask, that one quite fitting cause the strap can adjust and the shape is somewhat similar to surgical mask, like it👍
For the poor, they can't afford to question the quality of their masks
Great documentary and it is so informative ... Excellent work CNA and Diana Ser has always been an amazing presenter ... 5 star ratings 👍
Does anyone else find it, let's say...odd ...that she interviews medical professionals who are not wearing masks and not wearing a mask herself, while indoors and without being at the very least 6-10 feet away? Especially now that we know that the smallest particles of the virus can travel up to 27 feet and linger for hours?
they probably get tested very regularly so i think it should be fine
I thought the mask is to protect the person from close contact. Why are masks not being worn during the interviews? It makes no sense to me🤔
they must have been tested before this interview especially the reporter
You should also avoid restaurants and crowded places
0:53 What's wrong with it?
