Dearest Deepak, this couldn't have been more apropos to my own thoughts. After 50 years of being a traditional Christian, a few years ago I delved into the ancient pictographic roots of scripture and found that the literal interpretation of basically _everything_ was a mistake and that it all has to do with ascension to an Eastern understanding of "I AM." I'd come to the shocking conclusion (well, shocking for a life-long Christian, anyway) that if Jesus had been born of a virgin than none of his message (essentially that we are ALL The I AM) made sense at all so it must be metaphorical. And here you are affirming what we found (me and my "sister" on this Journey of Discovery). *MANY BLESSINGS TO YOU WITH MY IMMENSE GRATITUDE!*
Merry Christmas To Deepak and all my brothers and sisters across the world. Hope and pray we can make the peace and good will towards man extend to everyday of the year! If we walk with God in our hearts everyday , then peace and prosperity for all would be the only thing on our agenda! Make it a New Years Resolution and a way of thinking and living!
Merry Christmas! In that day the humanity celebrate the victory of light over dark in both cases: physical and spiritual. In John's New Testament Jesus directly said about necessity to be born by Holy Spirit. Jesus Teaches Nicodemus, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. - How can someone be born when they are old? - Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” - Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit, gives birth to spirit…” (John 3: 3-6).
Thank You Dr. Chopra for sharing that with me. I was raised Catholic, and when I was younger, I was critical, even condemning of this spiritual idea. Now that I'm old, I'm realizing that I don't know everything, certainly not God, and, although I still don't believe the idea of the virgin birth, I do see the Creative as real, and all powerful, and capable of anything, and everything.
I knew an Episcopal minister who believed that the word 'virgin' meant 'young woman' back in the day - not what it means to us today so he dismissed that Mary was a virgin as we understand the word - very interesting!
I think it would be more accurate to refer to people who believe the Bible is literal as literalists. I don't believe it is an opinion that the stories in the Bible are at least mostly metaphorical. I believe a more accurate term for scientists who think the Universe is "literal" as a physical reality is reductionists. I believe it can be seen by any person who is capable of open minded reason that the Bible is metaphorical. I agree that everyone has a right to their opinion and I believe we should not view ourselves as being superior to others who believe or, more often I think, express a belief in things which are irrational both from a reductionist and spiritual perspective. I don't believe it's productive to get into lengthy arguments about obviously irrational beliefs such as an eternal hell for a being etc. I do believe it is productive to indicate briefly that we do not share in particular beliefs which are detrimental to society such as the most common view of karma which I believe we can see objectively has been the basis for the exercise of many forms of elitism and various other isms. I don't believe it's fruitful to get into arguments but if we don't ever simply say we disagree with some of the irrational beliefs of reductionists and literalists then I believe it is inevitable that everyone will only be able to say Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays for either theological or cultural reasons because we will have abdicated our will for the will of the irrational in the eternal present which will feel like hell until we make up for lost time as they say. I believe America is getting a taste of the flavor of the fruit we have allowed to grow for the sake of convenience or our own misunderstanding of things like pearls before swine. Save your pearls but don't feed the swine is my thinking. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays as we wind on down the road. 🙏
Throughout his research, Beck identified three types of dysfunctional beliefs: beliefs about the self, beliefs about others, beliefs about the world . Maybe, what Beck was trying to say , is that, to release a limiting belief ,simply identify its origen. 🌊⛵️😊
Dear Deepak, just a suggestion, it will be interesting to hear your overview on the connection and similarities in all religions, teachings and beliefs to what you experess in your books. At some point in my life I was very stong orthodox christian believer. However, christian faith did not answer my questions and did not help me get closer to God. On another hand your book, Metahuman, touched something very beaitiful and real. The one thing I need is God to be closer and more accessible to me as human than we think he is. Religions, including christian, do not allow God to be close to humans because of sin, imperfections, etc. However, as the science shows, there is very little depend on us and on our will because we grow in very conditioning societies, no matter where were born. And we are not in control from whom we are born. So technically our lives are out our control and the only thing we can do is to swim in the direction of life forces and try not to drown. A lot of near death experience stories highlight one common thing - 'out there' is joy, peace, love, no worries, no pain. I do not believe in multiple lifes, being reborn, etc. but your perspectives together with some specles of truth in all religions give some indication of who we are and who is God=Supreme Concsiousness=Universe(choose any name for a supreme Source).
According to the Dead Sea Scrolls “virgin of birth” means Mary never gave birth before. In other words, Jesus was Mary’s first born. (If the Bible is to be taken literally, why isn’t slavery still legal?)
Celebrating something out of confusion is not a good thing. The mystery was never solved. Could Esuas' father have been a Roman soldier? That would set the stage for conflict. Cover up of ... who is his daddy? The world struggles with that relationship ... and continues foolishly and we are killing ourselves for the reason of ... forgiving mom and dad, for not saying ... "who is my daddy"? The one you know by name. That first one that you deny and see him as your PA. Personal Asistsnt, is not your Father ... One can do without a PA. The Earthly fathers have to take responsibility for their offspring. Don't crave sex and accidentally manufacture more children while you cannot even sustain the self. Not to mention the spread of disease and disaster that ripples accross the spectrum of Believers.😂❤

Thank you Deepak, what do you think of Neville Goddard's concept of the 'Mystery of the Christmas'? Merry Christmas to you
Oh. I do love you. ❤
Happy Holy Days to you also. Virgin Birth. Did she have contractions then Did Jesus just slide out and did Angels lay him in the manger?
Thank you, Deepak, for your light-hearted invitation to embrace our humanity in light of All That Is. 😊

Really what can be outside the power of a Living GOD it's individual choice to understand and accept

So, God impregnated his own mother to give birth to himself! It makes no sense unless you see the whole thing as a metaphor. Merry Christmas to all.
Thank you so much for your wonderful interpretation of this myth which has lost most of its value because of dogmatic assumptions.
