Today we fish the 6th Sense Umbrella Rig and Draw Glidebait at local ponds where we can’t seem to catch a break with local security or golfers at seemingly every bit of open water in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. I feel guilty packing any Googans plastics into my 6th sense bait bags with my 6th sense plastics and sometimes even think I might get heckled for doing it. It’s terrible. I did modify the flow glider 130 after watching be s video and boy did it make a world of difference! Action is night and day.

In my opinion 6th sense has superior hard baits, and Googan has more superior soft plastics, so I use both companies regularly… there is no rule in fishing that says you have to be dedicated to just one bait company lol

Great vid bro! And whether any company wants to admit it or not and especially these two that have awesome content makers that have had a big involvement in the product development on either side of the bait battle or whatever lol. They benefit from eachother to make eachother up the anty each time a product is dropped or color or whatever and you guys who are advertising and pushing these brands to the public on a daily basis through all when why and how for every age group is a great thing to witness and be a part of as a viewer and an avid angler myself. So thanks to y’all creators and company’s especially (googans and 6th sense) top of the line products no doubt! And the fellow subscribers we have all had a hand in making angling great again(maga) lol and also it’s a cool thing to do unlike when I was a kid it wasn’t really viewed that way. A true gentleman sport rather it be for catch and release or for the taste of freshest meal of your choice! Thanks again guys!

Great video Westin!! You were one of the first people I started watching when I got into fishing, I don’t know if you remember but I kept asking you question after question and you were very helpful. I love what you’ve done here cause at the end of the day what we want is to catch fish and should not feel like you are betraying someone by using a certain bait, also you can dislike the person but that does not mean you have to dislike the products they promote!! Bottom line use what you catches you fish!! I don’t know how you don’t have a few hundred thousand subs man you bring it every time

Both companies make fire products. Sometimes you have to mix and match to get the perfect fit for yourself. I'm sure with Zaldain on board now and Jon B catching that tank on the A Rig Googan/Catch Co is working on their own big Swim/Glide Baits and A Rigs. They aren't going to sell that big rod without lures to throw on it. Great video.
Business moves have to be made man. If this is going to get you closer to your main goal, then good for you. Both companies are amazing and you deserve to be somewhere that works for you. Also you and Ben could link up for a giant on swim baits💪🏽
Competition brings out the best products from every company. It is great for the consumer. Everybody makes great products and I don’t think I would have ever caught near as many fish as I have without the huge assortments of products. I love Googan and 6th Sense. I own, and have caught many fish on Googan, 6th Sense, Strike King, Zoom, VMC, Big Bite Baits, YUM, Berkeley, Power Pro, Seaguar, and many other products. Best of luck with everybody’s business. You all truly help fisherman.

I love both companies. I love my MFr rod, and my go to googan. I like the Googan soft baits but I like the 6sence hard baits.
Quick tip for any A rig. cut off ALL snaps and swivels on the arms that will hold a jighead and replace them with size 4 owner hyper wire split rings. It will be MUCH stronger and a little more compact less junk hanging off the bait. Also you should NEVER bend the wires just willy nilly lol you need to properly bend them out Matt Allen did a great video showing how to do it all. I have 2 6th sense rods.. a ton of their crankbaits, jerkbaits and swimjigs. They make great stuff. I also have 4 googan rods and a bunch of googan baits. They make make quality stuff.

6th sense as a whole to me is one of those bait companies that are durable, reliable and you’re paying for a good price! Sort of like in that range as Gary Yamamotos, or zoom. But 6th sense never disappoints

Whenever I fish a googan bait on a 6th sense terminal I call it the romeo and juliet. I used a 6th sense underspin with a saucy swimmer. Great set up.

Both companies have great products to offer. Both brands essentially have baits that are better action and more durable then the other, just like every other brand out there. That's why I fish both brands regularly

Oh my gawd, you"re fishin" somebody elses sheyut! Out of everyone that I enjoy watching, you are the one who's all over the place in your tackle, rods, reels etc. That in turn gives us a little info about everything. Even the Googans use different products. Don't tell anyone, but I watch the 6th sense crew as well as most of the Googans. Can learn from both. Great video by the way.

The A-rig storage, I roll a rubber o ring over the head and then roll it over the wires. Seems to work.
The googan squad green twitch is my absolute favorite rod….and my favorite popper to throw on it is the 6th sense splashback size 90😂
I hardly hit the thumbs up button this one definitely getting a smash...it’s about time someone steps up and looks through all the negativity and just fish whatever he or she prefers whether it’s a Googan squad bandito bug tied up on one rig and the next one may have a 6sense 50X...90% of all my tackle and rods are a combination of the two brands...I use whatever I like with each brand simple as that...keep up the grind 🤙🏼

Get a picasso umbrella rig, I've just started using them and the wires are really nice and it does not get tangled up frequently
I need to pick one of those up for sure
If you continue to bend the wires at the head of the arig it will eventually break the wire. Use a bend about 1/4 in below the head and it will keep the wire from breaking

I have baits from Googan and I love the soft baits. But I rarely use Googan hard baits. I use 6th sense and Lunkerhunt mostly. (I love the frogs from both though)

Just a suggestion that i had success with mix up the size of the swim baits on the a rig. This way u can target different size fish also schools of fish are not all the same size. Just found your channel and love the content

Hey were those Googan boat shorts you had on first day fishing? I got two pair of those with your code and they are by far the most comfortable shorts ever!!! As far as baits I use whatever I want and whatever I think will catch no matter what the brand. I probably have everything Googan has to offer and it’s due to watching your channel lol and I also fish for everything that bites a hook. Lately I’m into to micro baits for creek fishing and absolutely loving that! Tomorrow I’ll kayak fish for big bass. With all that said I will say I love watching you vids and you are by far my favorite UA-cam fisherman. I’ve watched your channel for years and always excited when you drop new vids! I also use predominantly 6th Sense and Googan products… I also use Shimano jerkbaigs and Glide baits… Shimano hard baits are extremely underrated
My guys way to spread the love. Fish what works for you. The beef should be saved for Reality tv shows 👍
To store them I use a couple of bread ties to keep it closed and lay flat

Take the bottom of the cap of a water bottle and slide it down the a-rig. It keeps the arms compressed and manageable. Tight lines!!!

Honestly I use both. I have 3 Googan rods and 3 6th sense rods. It somehow feels weird though throwing bandito bugs on a 6th sense rod lol

Make sure you keep the draw in the box when your not using it. If the tail is messed up it’s won’t swim
I hate that there is beef because I love Googan plastics and 6th hard baits and sucks because as my goal of going pro is to be sponsored by Googan someday and hoping Scott Martin can pull some strings for me when I jump in the Toyota’s because I’m his camera boat driver in the southeast for the last 2 years.

I throw a blazin worm on a 6’9” 6th sense unicorn MHF. Pulled in a 4 pounder. And in Texas, I threw a Clout on my googan gold series go m-to. I use what works for me. I’m loyal to catching fish, not a brand.

I just started to use them! They have great colors and many cool baits, I have mostly googan because they have just caught me tons of fish last year, but I wanted to try variety and new methods. 6th sense products are quality and so is googan and both catch numbers and great sizes. It’s just whatever the fish wants to eat that day! Was thinking of picking up the Draw soon!
Also I had a 6th sense spook(dogma) tied on my twitch googan rod and I thought the same, nailed a 5 pounder on it !

I’m currently replacing all the 6cents rods I have with higher quality. I’ve given up on their lures because very few actually catch fish. The stuff might be great in Texas or wherever but here in WV it’s wasted money.
I think 6 sense have more of a selection than googan but whatever catches fish is what I use but I’ve just started using 6 sense a lot more

For durability it's hard to beat 6th sense. Every hard bait I've had from googan cracks or breaks the bill, or looses the eyes or skirts 🤷♂️

I've just had the bills break on both scouts I've bought, eyes fell out of the 2 clutches I bought this fall after 1 day of use (booyah same thing) the grass hero caught me a couple dozen before the skirt fell off so that was OK. I've had some quakes catch over 100 bass before I lost them and they barely had scratches, and divine swim jigs catch dozens with no visible distress before losing them too. Maybe I'm just unlucky with googan 🤷♂️
Dang that's unfortunate, but also weird because I 've literally never had any of those things happen in the past few years since tryin their baits out. 🤷🏽♂️
Same thing with the plastics, everyone says they rip to easy but I fish with every other day and catch multiple fish on them and they dont seem to tear to much easier than every other bait just a little maybe but the action of them are fantastic
@@joshvaughn7348 even with the plastics, my experience is 1 fish and have to use another one. I've not used 6th sense plastics, but the hard baits are fantastic.
I love that this is an issue, but only to paid/sponsored people. 99% of the viewers are and have been mixing and matching the whole time. I'm glad to see it be more about the fish and less about the labels!

I think that's what lacks about fishing UA-cam, using your own choice of baits no matter the brand. Just cuz you like a whopper plopper don't mean you have to use a googan one just cuz your their best friends. Honestly everyone should use what works to their preference not just their favorite products. Don't get me wrong, I love googan baits but will throw a whopper ploppers or the baits you use too, to catch a bass. I think everyone will do the same.

Looks like the googan baits are working, but the sixth sense hooks can’t land the fish.
Just compare the GS baits to 6th.... no comparison lol I'm a JDM tackle fanatic, but after owning some of GS and 6th baits, I can honestly say some of the GS baits are not the best. They catch fish, but so does throwing a hook with a leaf on it.
I can also say some of the JDM baits are not the best. Every company has their staples and then “the rest” 🤣

Westin, do what you must brother. I think you'd feel worse not trying what any subscriber sends you no matter the brand. The truth is I have some Sixth Sense terminal tackle but have more Googan baits, I also have other brands that I'd rather not name the point is if they work who cares.
