This is the “nitty gritty” of the crafting process of Chōmei Ji-Nashi Shakuhachi with all the original audio.
Filmmaker Sabine El Chamaa shot this footage during crafting at my Shakuhachi studio/workshop in Lebanon and André van Rensburg completed the post production in Tokyo.
Thank you both for your beautiful collaboration.
Thank you always to my teachers and to you all.
Hope you enjoy and share! 🙏

Sometimes UA-cam throws up a real gem, such as this. I have always wondered how this was done, and it does seem to be even more complicated and skilled than I had imagined!

It warms my heart to know that the intricate dance of bamboo and craftsmanship resonates with you. Crafting a Ji-Nashi Shakuhachi is indeed a journey of patience and skill, a harmony of nature and artisan. I’m grateful for my teachers and for your appreciation 🙏

Merci pour cette merveilleuse démonstration chèr ami. Je n'avais jamais pensé de polir le bambou en entier. J'aime bcp les tuning
traditionnels comme towari, 10 ou 9.5 formula. Tu es un excellent joueur by thé way.
