    I really love this! I used to be a semi-professional musician on stringed instruments. Once I started playing flutes, I found that I cared more about playing for my health and the health of others. I think flutes made me less selfish.

    I think it was a nightmare for all of us this period of lock down, a real nightmare. I am so grateful to have my bamboo to canalise my breath, and produced so many jinashis in different sizes to create those healing vibrations, and it helped tremendously. Thank you for being there brother.

    Beautiful documentary, beautiful flute! You are only the third budo sensei I know of who also teaches shakuhachi... But the only maker! I started learning shakuhachi during the pandemic & a kenpo renshi... Be well

      @@KyleChomei Well, with the help of some very good manuals, I'm able to play 60 minyo & 5 honkyoku! 🙂
      Both sensei are teaching aikido in France... Kiotsukete!

    Amazing video. Thank you for posting this. If you don’t mind my asking, what is the oil you are applying at the end of the video? And do you have any other suggestions for polishing the root end?

      Thank you 🙏 the oil I’m using is a type of olive oil that’s used in the skin. You can find it at Mejiro shakuhachi store.
