Unless your purpose is to attend a football game, DO NOT come to any part of Ann Arbor on a football Saturday, not just the southern part. Every interchange with the expressways that surround town is congested. If you live in town and need to run some errands that day, wait until during the football game.
I looked at Forbes list and didn't find Ann Arbor there. Of course you can compile a ton of list by countless metrics, and it's worth very little compared to one's personal experience. Any city in Michigan out of all places defined as the best place to live is a stretch in my opinion, viewing that Michigan is one of the most affordable states and not very well ran in my opinion. I mean, between November and April is hard to defend Ann Arbor against, let's say, Scottsdale, Arizona.
Lived in Ann Arbor and Scottsdale. Would take Ann Arbor any day of the year for my taste. Scottsdale is all material and no culture- very nice city, but extra generic.
Ann Arbor is a cool place. Way to expensive to live there & ultra University Liberal. So quite a few weirdo's. LoL. Best to live somewhere else & visit for dinner or whatever might be going on
FORBES is WRONG, lived there; one word: RAIN (to include clouds, snow, tornadoes, lightning...) ALL the damn year ... sucks !! ... makes going to the CALIFORNIA BOWL games an incentive !! U○M NO !!! ... HILLSDALE COLLEGE However, the art festivals are good...
Omg! Exactly! I’m moving next year! I personally can’t tolerate the clouds and bad roads any more! The rents are high and it’s for crappy apartments! Sorry! 😢

Been living here since 1990. Best city in the USA without a doubt. City and suburban life with phenomenal food , and very multiculturally diverse
i have no interest in diverse or food.
20:07 Are there any good Vegan restaurants?
Where would you say you see more active, single seniors? Ann Arbor or Cedar Rapids?
Ann Arbor ✌️

You’re not wrong. It’s busy
Great video. And also: people are so much nicer there (than in California for sure)!
Definitely!

All great cities too. Curious, what about them do you like over A2?
Don’t forget the amazing tree equity Ann Arbor offers.

I guess you've never lived in Ann Arbor.
Great concert venues and the best cannabis dispensaries in MI! Mushrooms, too!
Ann Arbor is the best town in Michigan and that’s the problem, too many rich people started moving here messing everything up for normal people 😂
Ann Arbor and the surrounding areas, Dexter, Saline, Chelsea, to name a few are all great places to live.
@@TRULIVINGMICHIGAN Dexter, Saline and Chelsea are ok, kinda too small town and boring to me but I’ve met plenty of cool people from those towns

After three years living here! I confirm this!
