What happens if you crash? I know you can refill the cartridge, but I would not want to wear it again after a real crash unless it’s inspected by a professional, do you guys service them in events like this?
@@rchm7294 I'm just too short. Closer to 5 ft and short torso. I'd take a youth size if they had one available lol. I tried sending them an email through their website for their suggestion on best sizing (I absolutely want to get one) but I haven't received any response back yet.
When you have your helmet on and strapped under your neck and this bag goes off it looks like it would lift your helmet up and tighten the strap against your neck, Would this do damage to your breathing area, I have not seen this tested with a helmet on. I will keep searching for more videos. Thanks for posting.
Hi Mark. The airbag does provide full support to your head and neck when deployed. It does not do damage to your neck or hinder breathing. If you are wearing a helmet where your head could easily slide up and down while you wear it as you are describing, your helmet is too big. It's not the correct size and you will not protect your head like a helmet is intended. Let me know if that doesn't make sense. As an airbag technology company, we may not provide helmets for riders, but I, personally, can make sure you're wearing the correct size helmet. Please feel free to contact us directly - zak@helitemoto.com
Nah. The guys at local shop tested it with helmet. When it goes off It's a fair bit tighter fit than wearing something like a motocross neck brace. Not choking at all but very solid. Ya might bite your tongue or something but loads better to hit the ground packed into this than without.
Hi Belethor. Yes! You can deploy Helite airbag systems time and time again. You don't have to send it anywhere to be repacked or recharged. With Helite, you simply need to replace the cartridge with a fresh one after each deployment. And cartridges are only $25. Here is 47second video explaining how simple the cartridge replacement is - ua-cam.com/video/xvWe3HnBOio/v-deo.html If you have any questions, or if you would like to order, please contact us directly - zak@helitemoto.com Thanks!
Disabled people who have to ride their bikes to work because they don’t drive Could also be protected. I’ve heard of many people riding in my city who’ve been hit or run over by cars and buses Accidentally. The state government should pay to buy one for disabled bikers.
This looks particularly problematic when wearing a helmet. The deployment will probably lift the helmet (and neck), which might cause serious damage. While this is speculation, it is the problem of the company that they do NOT show how the product performs with a helmet on.
The effect is exactly the opposite. The vest when inflated fills the space between shoulders and helmet to immobilize excessive head movement. If you take a look through the rest of our video selection you will notice that aspect.
@@HeliteMoto Thanks for the response. I will check the rest of the videos. But you should be aware that you need to show how it works WITH a helmet. This is what matters to every rider. Showing it without a helmet is useless for us.
@@hellasride2717 Unfortunately, not every video is orchastrated by us. HELITE Moto USA has customers wearing helmets in all of OUR videos to emphasize that fact over and over. Other importers & distributors unfortunately do not. Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate it!
When I had my fitting, test firing, and ultimately purchase (by Nick in the video) it was test fired WITH my helmet on EXACTLY for the reason, and reassurance you describe. See the video he took after test, to hopefully help demonstrate this very issue, and that it is of no concern. photos.app.goo.gl/jMEoguPDBwW3zWW19 Buy an airvest, I can't see why anyone wouldn't! Had a car hit my z1000sx at about 15-20mph on a roundabout. My helite I’m sure saved me a lot of bruising and possibly more. Great kit
Thank you thank you thank you for helping bikers be protected. Women and Mothers want their guys and sons
And other people’s lives to be saved.

Does this work well with the female anatomy? I really want to purchase one but unsure about the sizing

Helite Moto the guy on the video has no helmet on. Once deployed the vest seems like it would push up hard on the helmet.

Can this be worn under a jacket?
Nope it’s for outside of the jacket only
Can this item be reused? I’d like to test it twice before using it.

You mean fat or fat and tall or just tall? I would guess just fat, because generally "big" is the word fat people hide behind.
