You just saved my brushless motor. I could not for the life of me get that bearing out, but now it's out with no damage and I can rebuild my motor. Thank you good sir.
Hahaaa, as I'm fighting to get that SOB out of there so I can replace them with ceramic hybrid versions in hopes that it will helpbcool down the motor!! 😆 🤣 😆 😄 Bro, you're a life saver!!! 🙌
@@mlarsen77 Gotta love the power of hydraulics!! 😆 Telling ya, you saved me from a boat load of teeth gnashing!! 😂 I had to send a shout out to you & this video on my channel & left a link on the video to this video. Cuz this worked like a charm!! Thanks again bro, God Bless You & Stay Safe! 👍
I believe that one could be tapped out from the outside. I can look again when I get home this evening but I recall that one on the shaft side was the easy one.
@@S40TBS I have a dynamite tool kit that has a 5mm nut driver. It's a perfect fit into the outside of the cover the motor shaft sticks out of. Throw the motor cover in the oven at 300 for like 10 mins. Take it out with gloves......and use the socket driver and a small hammer or block of wood to tap the bearing from the outside. Do this with the cover removed from the main motor or you risk ball bearings and other debris scattering and getting all stuck inside the magnets. If you have a couple 2x4s put them close together under the cover for support, but gapped enough for the bearing to fall out below. If you're on facebook, I can send you a message with a pic.

It's 2020, and we gotta use breakfast to get a bearing out of a 100kph rc's motor.
What an age.
Somebody mentioned this the other day and I thought they were winding me up. Now I've seen this it makes perfect sense. Good stuff.

Hi how do you get other end bearing out ?
I believe that one could be tapped out from the outside. I can look again when I get home this evening but I recall that one on the shaft side was the easy one.
Many thanks don't want to buy a new motor if can change the bearings.
