Just doing some diff bearings and decided to do the motor bearings also.
This is easy, 14 plus only.
Tools needed : 1.5 mm hex, blue lock tight, electronic parts spray, drill, drill bits, flat blade screwdriver,
2 sealed bearings , tape for end bell, block of wood to drill on.
Purchased my bearings off amazon , sizes on video.
Thanks for watching
Bread trick works great for the rear bearing
Thanks for the vid. A tripod for the phone might be a good Xmas present 👍😉
Thanks Sean 👍
def get that tripod! I almost threw up watching this X)
Good video there isn't alot about motor bearings on you tube I went through two motors before I started changing bearings. Definitely will save some money
Thanks Daniel! Very kind Yes, hope it saves someone $$ Bearings are cheap, motors can be expensive.
Vey usefull vid my friend. Apreciate you tips. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🍻
For anybody who's trying to remove bearings out of end Bell caps like this that's all you need to do is gently heat the aluminum cap with a small torch like a lighter torch or any mini torch and the bearing will fall right out there's no need to drill a hole in your waterproof brushless motor cap
Or the bread trick.
@@SnowCamo45 may i ask what the bread trick is? I`ll have to take out that bearing, too.
@@Abszurdista-fatalista really simple. Take that cap with the bearing off and stuff bread into the bearing where the shaft goes. The tap the motor shaft lightly into the bread. Keep at this... The bread squeezes behind the bearing and pushes it out of the cap. Easy job. No drilling required.
@@SnowCamo45 got it. Thank you very much, I'll try it
@@Abszurdista-fatalistayour welcome. It'll work. Just keep stuffing bread till it pops out. Best part is there's no mess other then bread crumbs.
Great informative bench video brother.
Thanks brother 👍
Great Content 🤛🏾
Very Nice vidéo importante upgrade for blx
Hello Arrma, agreed!
JC RC You have facebook ? Come you welcome facebook.com/groups/501094873882484/?ref=share
Great video buddy. You still making any new videos?
Most motor bearings do not have rubber seals on them. They get too hot and will melt. The old bearings were all metal that you removed.
Dude your camera game is not good cant see what your doing
Am I the only guy that blows bearings up before taking the whole motor apart? I think I must be
Hey, me too!
Be nice to see what your actually doing instead of looking at the table 😂😂😂😂
Sorry was filming with other hand. But you got the idea
Probably should have took the cover off the front of the motor. Loads of dirt get in the motor through the screw holes. You wouldn’t believe how much dirt is behind it. Great vid besides I wouldn’t have drilled the hole. But hey to each his own.
Ughh
Daaa..TRYPOD!!!!!
