The first story about the clean and clear with the st ives was literally ME. Ruined my skin barrier as a teenager and took me until i was 22 to finally fix it
Yes! Same here. I also gave myself tonnes of broken fucking capillaries from the scrub as well which I'm now going to have to spend hundreds of pounds on laser to rectify...
I love Korean beauty products, I find that they are a lot more gently on my skin, you should try the nature republic aqua sleeping mask, works really well
@@toucan4207 wait really, what did the dermatoligist say?? because cetaphil is really good for me so im curious to know what a dermatologist would have to say
Tina Gaming I use to think it was good too but when I look back now it was just stripping my skin, giving it that ‘tight’ affect but it would get dry so quickly and easily after. It really isn’t worth it in the long run so please get rid of it!!
What I’ve noticed about the Laneige sleeping mask is that I have to put on a very hydrating moisturizer under it and wait about 2 min and put a thick layer of the sleeping mask over it. It doesn’t do anything for my skin by itself.....just locks in all my other skincare for the night.
I was looking to see if anyone mentioned ceraVe. I feel like cetaphil dries my skin out too much and just bought ceraVe as an alternative. I hope it works!
Yup I used up my bottle a few months ago and switched to a few high end cleansers only to realize they were drying me out. Switched back this week and bingo! Skin moisture returns
I 've just bought the cerave SA smoothing cleanser and I really have high expectations for this one. I have a combination, sensitive skin with a little bit of acne and a MESSY nose, i have used cetaphil but i belive it is to stripping because my cheeks feel constantly itchy. I dont want to dry out my skin but i also woyld rather not have acne and black heads sooooo do you guys think the Cerave one will work?
The even better alternative is Vanicream's gentle cleanser. Cetaphil has parabens and SLS, CeraVe burns the crap out of my face. But Vanicream seems to be safe all around and is pregnancy safe which I have to make sure of.
Maja Kiepas i hope your experience with the SA cleanser goes better than mine because when i tried it, it made my face tingle and burn! i even went through the hassle of returning it to walmart i hated it so much. i have tried and enjoyed their SA lotion though, so i would recommend using their foaming cleanser followed by the SA lotion
Bro same. I’ve been using Cetaphil for years and i just switched to Cerave and i’m mad that i was so resistant to switching before. It’s a much better product for my skin personally but cetaphil works better for some.
Just check the ingredients once.. :D its is horrifying 🙈 my dermatologist suggested it and I bought it, checked the ingredients at home (y @home? Cause I’m dumb) and was shocked :D
YourTrueHijabi very interesting read, thanks for the link! I fall in the category of not wanting to put potentially harmful substances on my body and/or flush them in the water system, like trying to reduce the environmental stress as well 😅

My skin is crazy dry, and during a really horrible allergic reaction on my face, La Neige water sleeping mask was the only thing I could use that helped hydrate my poor skin, and not sting and burn, and helped get it back to normal. I can see how it might not work for everyone, but skincare and makeup is subjective! Not everything works for everyone, sadly. :(
The Laneige water sleeping mask, though I liked the fresh cool feeling when I apply it on, made me wake up with even drier skin. Not dewy, not hydrated. Bone dry. Did not repurchase. Same with the lip thing. Overhyped petroleum jelly in a pretty jar.
I love the laneige sleeping mask! It literally saved my skin when I was on accutane and my skin was super dry and sensitive . I still use it sometimes and it makes my skin look really glowy and dewy in the morning
I use cetaphil gentle skin cleanser, and it's one of the best cleanser I've ever used. I used Clean & Clear face wash in the past (they're marketed towards teens, and I didn't know that Clean & Clear were horrible at the time) and it stripped my face. I appreciate you being honest and definitely watching more of your videos in the future since you are very informative. You and Hyram is the ultimate duo!
My problem with most skincare right now is that it seems that EVERYTHING has hyaluronic acid in it. I live in Las Vegas. Hyaluronic acid pulls moisture out of the air and puts it into the skin BUT if there is no moisture in the air, it pulls the moisture out of the skin. So anything with HA will pull moisture out of my already dry skin because I live in a place where there is no moisture in the air. I've thrown out so many products because they have HA in them.
Bobette McCann that is actually not correct and a common misconception. All humectants pull moisture from the dermis outward toward the epidermis, that’s just how they work regardless of climate. 20% of the body’s water content is in the skin and 60-70% of the skin’s water is in the dermis so there’s really no problem with moving moisture outward from such a moisture rich area out toward the epidermis and to the very surface (stratum corneum) where the skin cells are dead at that point and without water the skin loses its softness and pliability. All a humid environment offers is a second source of moisture for humectants like hyaluronic acid to draw from but that doesn’t mean they’re not still pulling moisture from the dermis nor that it’s a bad thing. The problem is that if you do not immediately seal in humectants with an occlusive moisturizer they will evaporate. Evaporation is what causes the dehydration. If you’re in a more dry climate (I am as well, especially summer), immediately applying any product with humectants on skin that’s still damp from washing then sealing in with moisturizer and even using a humidifier at night can also be helpful. You want to minimize moisture loss between cleansing and moisturizer. Dry climates as well as AC and heaters dehydrate skin and deplete lipids anyway so humectants are important to compensate for that. Here’s some evidence: “They are basically hygroscopic compounds which mean they attract water from two sources, from the dermis into the epidermis and in humid conditions from the environment.” “Humectants are a double-edged weapon as they increase TEWL by enhancing water absorption from the dermis into the epidermis where it is easily lost to the environment. It is for this reason that they are mostly combined with occlusive.” www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4885180/ “Humectants can also enhance trans-epidermal water loss by increasing water absorption from dermis into epidermis, where it easily evaporates; therefore combination with occlusives is frequently required to help enhancing epidermal barrier function and hydration.” www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5849435/ You’ll notice that there’s no mention of climate playing a role except to mention that humidity offers a second source of moisture. The concern is evaporation regardless of climate so the most important thing is an occlusive moisturizer which is exactly what brands suggest - the cosmetic chemists would add warnings about use in dry climates to all HA products if it was such an issue yet none of the medical literature mentions HA can only be used in certain seasons or climate. In fact this small study testing a serum featuring HA and other humectants in an “alpine desert climate” found it to work well still: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3050617/ And this book mentions that humectants like glycerin can actually help with dry skin in winter even in dry climates: books.google.com/books?id=JpfgVgb62nsC&pg=PA179&lpg=PA179&dq=humectants+dry+climate+study&source=bl&ots=fmylA0tgAk&sig=ACfU3U3sr49q2uyt9U7SeyxSyQghJEWExQ&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwibn6D_8sfmAhWOhJ4KHbB3B284ChDoATAFegQICRAB#v=onepage&q=humectants%20dry%20climate%20study&f=false Excellent article on dry skin in general too: www.americanskin.org/resource/dryskin.php Just wanted to comment for you and anyone else reading because I see so many influencers say this and it’s been spread around so much it’s accepted as truth but there’s just no evidence. Hope that helps! It’s all about how you use humectants.
Perhaps doing a facial mist right after to keep your skin moistened, then put your moisturizer on right after? Facial mist are really nice. I use rose water for mine. Good luck 👍🏽
Mira Parker Thank you for your very informative comment and for doing your research! Just a question though, what about moisturisers that have HA? Do you need a second moisturiser on top?
I've face the same experience with "Laneige sleeping mask" .... I didn't have that dewy face in the morning nor at the night after application although i've super oily face
I have always received compliments on the youth of my skin. I could never accept the compliments because I had the worst skin care routine, I just told people I was blessed with good genes. I use to wash my face with St Ives, slap on some Moisturizer & go to bed. I didn’t really get taught anything about skincare. I was just told to wash my face, period. I feel like the one thing we don’t teach our children enough about is how to take care of their skin. The older I get the more I realize, yes I am blessed with good genes because I can’t believe I didn’t ruin my face all those years of shitty skin care. You have taught me so much & Ive done a lot of research as well. I feel way more confident now then I did a year ago. My son is 5 right now & I swear I am going to teach him everything I know. Thank you for your channel! 🤍 If you have any dry skin products/tips I’d love them!
Some of the best brands come from French chemists such as Avene, LRP, Vichy, Eucerin etc and also the more "medicinal" brands like E45, Cerave, cetaphil, Aveeno- although unglamorous and boring they may be they work well for me
Me too! My favourite 'Pharmacy' brand! I love their Toleraine range but dont think I've ever used a product from theme I didn't like. Most dermatologists I've spoke to recommend it actually (without me mentioning it!)
Clean & Clear was just marketed as the solution for everything for all us 80s/90s kids and it was the devil of all skincare. That stuff burned my skin like crazy and I’m glad I never used it much, despite everyone constantly hyping it up.
FINALLY! Someone who doesn't like the Cetaphil cleanser. Everyone around me really liked it but as soon as I rinsed it off even when my face was still drenching wet my skin felt so tight and almost so dry and thin, it felt like paper. I guess it's just another product that doesn't match well with me but is good for everyone else so I'd say if it works for you keep on using it 🤷♀️
i use cetaphil to wash my pet geckos' caves and stuff for this exact reason. it leaves things squeaky clean after rinsing, absolutely no reside or hydration. i can't imagine ever using it on my skin

ahhhh so glad you like them! I was thinking im getting too negative but i think sharing products i dislike is just as important as sharing those i love right?!
I have cystic acne and incredibly oily skin-the original Proactiv line is what it responds best to. I have tried pretty much every line devoted to “battling” acne and found the key ingredient that works for me is Benzoyl Peroxide-salicylic acid tends to not be effective enough. Oh, and the Proactiv MD line absolutely ruined my skin and made it the worst it’s ever been. James-I’d love to see what moisturizers you’d recommend for acne prone skin!! I tried Tea Tree, but my skin hated it & broke out. I’ve used Vanicream at night and an Oil Control moisturizer with SPF during the day--Cetaphil Pro Oil Control Oil absorbing Moisturizer SPF 30 tends to work the best I’ve found. Also, just gotta add that Hanhoo blemish patches/hydrocolloid non medicated patches are a LIFESAVER for a bad breakout!! Any “holy grails” to deal with bad breakouts?? Thanks for coming to my TED talk....lol 🤣🤣🤣
James: laneige sleep mask cream started leaving my face super dry, had to wipe that layer off my face with a baby wipe.. Me: just woke up, had to go look for a mirror to check my face..
Wow, I am so thankful you spoke about the water sleeping mask. The same thing happens to me. I thought that there was a problem with mine or how I was using it
THANK YOU for mentioning Clean&Clear first! It is the worst, harshest product I've ever used in my life, also back when I was a teen with acne. My skin hated it. I think you're right that it needs to be renamed a chemical exfoliant.
THANK-YOU for saying Cetaphil is shite!! I don't have sensitive skin but since every You-tube Chanel I watch seemed to recommend it as a second cleanse phase so I bought the dry/sensitive version. I HATED IT! It is one of the very few products that made my skin instantly sting. I also really hated the texture. At first I thought it might just be that day, so I tried it a few days later and same thing, instant stinging and redness on my NON SENSITIVE skin! Bearing in mind I never really react to products I thought it must be a reaction to another product so since I had purchased the large bottle I kept it and tried it as a a cleanser for the back of my hands to take off sunscreen. I left it a few months and tried again and instant stinging and redness reaction. Completey stunned that so many people recommend it. I think they must just spend a lot of money sponsoring dermatologists and UA-camrs!!
BTW: I use normally now use La Roche Posay Toleraine milk cleaser after my Dermalogica 'pre cleanse' oil cleasner OR 'byTerry' Rose Oil cleanser followed by Elemis Rose milk cleanser,
Hello James Welsh! Laneige sleeping mask is my favourite and I've used it for like 8 years now.. the right way to use it is to remember that it is NOT a replacement for your night moisturizer. I'm not sure if you are using it correctly leading to the bone dry feel you have, but the sleeping mask is the last step to be applied at the end of your night time routine. For instance, myself: after i double cleanse, tone, essence, serum, eye cream, face cream then... Laniege waterbank sleeping mask. And yes, i mask nightly.. haha.. though all my friends say mask once a week or 2-3 times a week will do. Could you give it another shot and then let us know your review? If you're wondering: "why so many steps?!", you might want to remember the Korean skincare regime is typically 10-13 steps so the mask is the no. 10th / 13th step.. ;)
Eh, I use it the right way and still have a similar experience as James and I’ve given it multiple chances. It doesn’t completely dry me out, but likely only because of everything I put on underneath. My skin never feels soft or supple the next morning, it just feels like it has a weird dry film over it. Almost like it’s been shrink wrapped. The first time this happened I just assumed that maybe I used too much, but experimenting with lighter applications hasn’t yielded better results. That said, I’ve never met a gel moisturizer that actually worked on my oily/combo skin, so it’s probably not a surprise that Laneige was a dud for me too.
Alot of cleansers have harsh chemicals. I highly recommend using a cleanser that is pH balanced. I use 5.5 Acwell. I have sensitive skin. Havent used any other cleanser.
I stopped watching skincare/ make up videos more than two years ago but somehow, UA-cam keeps recommending your videos and I always end up watching to the end. So I've just subscribed... I love your channel. Thanks!

I loved that you didn't edit out that darn dog hair or whatever. Immediately liked the video. I switched to cetaphil after Aveeno stopped making their cream cleanser that I liked and same thing has happened to me. Dry, Dry, Dry in my T-zone no less!
hostronic the cerave cleansers break me out SO BAD! Especially the hydrating one. It made my acne worse than ever. Just goes to show how different everyone is. Lol
you honestly terrified me with the cetaphil in the thumbnail 😭 i don't use it on my face but it's the only thing i feel comfortable washing my pet geckos' stuff with (dishes, caves, leaves, etc.). i'm so glad there's nothing actually wrong with it cause geckos are super sensitive !
omg it's soooo nice to hear someone else disliking the laneige sleeping mask !! I have the exact same experience as you James! It feels like it does nothing for my skin. And that's coming from someone who doesn't even have dehydrated skin, PLUS, i live humid Singapore, where I never worry about dryness or lack of moisture. It's so weird to see so many people love it and you start thinking if you're mad hahaha
I know you don’t have typically ‘dry skin’ but I haven’t seemed to find anyone in the community I trust as much as you that can advise on products for dry skin- please do a video on what you would recommend!!
We have the same experience with the Laneige Sleeping Mask 😭 i also have high expectations from the product as it’s a crowd favorite. I don’t like how it’s heavily scented & the menthol-feeling after application was kinda irritating my sensitive skin. You can tell the product has high alcohol content. My skin doesn’t even feel moisturised the next day.
Wheeeeeeeew, the Laneige sleeping mask is horrendously bad. The product absorbs super quick and there is hardly anything left on your skin in the morning, my skin did not feel moisturised. I have tried layers and LAYERS.
The Cetaphil ruined my skin on my college days. I will hate that product forever. Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one disappointed on Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. I'm expecting to have a dewy, soft and plump skin in the morning, but it did the opposite. My skin looks just so dull and tired, everytime I uses it.
I appreciate I'm late to the party (I'm consuming James' videos at a scary rate) but I just needed to point out how much I love the Mimikyu kicking about in the back of the videos....in different rooms!! haha
Omg I thought I was the ONLY one who couldn't do any of the Ganier micellar waters! My skin freaks out COMPLETELY, even though they don't have perfume and CLAIM to be for sensitive skin. The skin around my eyes and nose gets red, itchy and starts peeling! It's so embarassing. I've tried 3 different Garnier micellar waters and they all have this effect on my skin. I'm back to balm and cream cleaners and this cleared the problem up. I feel like micellar waters all claim to be gentle and for sensitive skin, but they completely strip my skin and makes me peel big, chunky flakes of dead skin!
I don’t like the laneige either. A really great sleeping mask for hydration is the belif aqua bomb sleeping mask. I wake up nice and dewy but it is important to wash it off in the morning and do your normal routine.
I have decently dry skin and used to have scaly patches and huge flakes that would fall off and leave behind red and irritated skin. All I was using at the time was the cetaphil cleanser and moisturizing lotion thinking I was helping my skin when it was really drying me out even more! I switched to the Cerave foaming facial cleanser and the moisturizing cream and it changed my life. No more severe dry patches and flaking!
The problem with clean and clear? They are clingy! I mean you apply it you feel good But if you stop using it, You will end up with a red polka face. And garnier, I hate garnier products except its bb cream and yeah that acne cream thats better but its miceller Fraganence is oh my!!! I prefer pink one. (Anyway i dont use miceller water. ) And cetaphil, I dont know why though its rating is good and not really harmful product is there, still i ended up having pimples. Hmm.. Its better said"Cetaphil is for those who dont have acne" And yeah guys if you guys want recommendation Then, CLEANSER: Simple miceller gel facewash is the best and cheap one. Also cerave cleanser(if you have money, i dont TT) MOISTURISER: CERAVE MOISTURISER NEUTROGENA PINK MOISTURISER CETAPHIL ULTRA HYDARTING MOISTURISER LIPBALM LANEIGE SLEEPING MASK BIOTIQUE WHITENING LIP BALM NIVEA PEACH OR CHERRY LIP BALM INNISFREE LIP BALM dont use petroleum jelly (if you dont wanna get pigmented brown) For more recommendation comment down.
I wouldn't say I hate it but a skin care product that annoyed me the most possibly is Clarin's Hydra Quench Cream(the one with the white top not blue, I think they're discontinued and was replaced by Hydra Essential :p). I didn't have any problems with it other than that it hardly did anything for me. I like the texture? of the cream enough and I liked that it wasn't packed with fragrance but it didn't do anything for me, whereas with Cetaphil lotions or creams I'd immediately feel my skin become get hydrated and plump. I never used Cetaphi's cleanser though and as someone with dry and sensitive skin I guess now I know to stay away from it.
When I started getting acne as a teen, one of the products that was recommended to me was Coalface from lush. It's a bar cleanser made with black licorice. It dried out my skin so so so bad, but I didn't know anything about skin care so I used it for wayyy too long. I figured the super squeaky clean feeling and the tightness meant it was drying out my acne. My poor skin. I don't think it'll ever forgive me.
“Baby wipe juice” 🤣🤣🤣 I felt the same way about the Laniege product! The best product for waking up with super-moisturized skin is IT Cosmetics Secret Sauce. Terrible name, I know, but the hydration is amazing!

Mee toooo...clean n clear was my teenage foaming face wash...it leaves ur skin so dry
yesss omg the blackhead face wash was so bad!
I used to use the one with the reddish liquid and the purple pump... the “essentials step one” or whatever it’s called... my poor moisture barrier. It’s taken YEARS to get it back
Saiuri D. Same 🤦🏾♀️... and I have oily skin so 14 year old me thought I didn’t need a moisturizer.. PLUS I used it with the corresponding toner 🥴
Saniya Giri i wore it too! when i was 13, my mom came home with a similar product from clean n clear, but it would just strip my skin and leave it SOOOOO dry and tight. it was terrible
@@JamesWelsh by the way i love your videos...they are really informative. Keep up the good work up. Love from india!❤️🇮🇳
The neutrogena oil free and grapefruit cleansers. And clean and clear as a whole 🤮
Oh my the cleanser made my skin SQUEAKY
the only good thing from clean and clear is the gel moisturizer, wouldn’t recommend for acne or anything else other than the moisturizer
that grapefruit cleanser ruined my skin years ago!!! never again😤😤
The grapefruit cleanser burned my skin
maddie moncada me tooo!!! It burnt me so bad
The amount I tore up my skin before I knew better. I want to kick the people who marketed this stuff.
It seemed to make my spots worse so I stopped using it. Was constantly told I was wrong though 😂
James Welsh: does not like cetaphil
Me earlier before seeing thi video: bought 4 bottles of cetaphil

It works for me actually (I have normal to combination skin)
It broke up out so bad. I seriously regret buying it

@@toucan4207 awww okay, thank you!! but i also heard of the moisturiser of cetaphil that people use with that and apparently it's very good
What I’ve noticed about the Laneige sleeping mask is that I have to put on a very hydrating moisturizer under it and wait about 2 min and put a thick layer of the sleeping mask over it. It doesn’t do anything for my skin by itself.....just locks in all my other skincare for the night.
Sounds like Vaseline lol
The instructions say to use it over a moisturizer. I layer it over either Belif cream or CeraVe PM.
it's probably an occlusive, just creates a barrier to prevent evaporation from the skin
thats what its supposed to do
A great alternative to Cetaphil is CeraVe, suuper afordable and lovely and gentle, use it every night for my second cleanse!
I felt attacked when I saw the cetaphil cleanser on here because that’s my fave cleanser
Bro same. I’ve been using Cetaphil for years and i just switched to Cerave and i’m mad that i was so resistant to switching before. It’s a much better product for my skin personally but cetaphil works better for some.
Sameeee i like it cos it doesnt make my skin feel dry or squeaky clean like other cleansers do and it's very gentle.
Just check the ingredients once.. :D its is horrifying 🙈 my dermatologist suggested it and I bought it, checked the ingredients at home (y @home? Cause I’m dumb) and was shocked :D

When I saw the Laneige water sleeping mask and I was shocked because it works for me and hydrated my skin
Eva everyone is different..what works for you might not work for others..
@Margo McGeough i have same problems like you. Is Laneige working well on your skin?
@@dinnnooo Well I suggest trying it to see for yourself because everyone's skin is different
Oh thank goodness I didn’t fall for the hype
Thank you so much for telling this, saved my money for buying this
Can you suggest reasonable and good lip balm?
Haven't tried their water sleeping mask but i love their lip sleeping mask 😊

I love the laneige sleeping mask! It literally saved my skin when I was on accutane and my skin was super dry and sensitive . I still use it sometimes and it makes my skin look really glowy and dewy in the morning
This is very helpful. Also, I can listen to him say “water” all day.
“Dewy...hydrated...person.” 😂 I’m obsessed with you
My problem with most skincare right now is that it seems that EVERYTHING has hyaluronic acid in it.
Here’s some evidence:
“They are basically hygroscopic compounds which mean they attract water from two sources, from the dermis into the epidermis and in humid conditions from the environment.”
“Humectants are a double-edged weapon as they increase TEWL by enhancing water absorption from the dermis into the epidermis where it is easily lost to the environment. It is for this reason that they are mostly combined with occlusive.”
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4885180/
“Humectants can also enhance trans-epidermal water loss by increasing water absorption from dermis into epidermis, where it easily evaporates; therefore combination with occlusives is frequently required to help enhancing epidermal barrier function and hydration.”
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5849435/
You’ll notice that there’s no mention of climate playing a role except to mention that humidity offers a second source of moisture.
In fact this small study testing a serum featuring HA and other humectants in an “alpine desert climate” found it to work well still:
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3050617/
And this book mentions that humectants like glycerin can actually help with dry skin in winter even in dry climates:
books.google.com/books?id=JpfgVgb62nsC&pg=PA179&lpg=PA179&dq=humectants+dry+climate+study&source=bl&ots=fmylA0tgAk&sig=ACfU3U3sr49q2uyt9U7SeyxSyQghJEWExQ&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwibn6D_8sfmAhWOhJ4KHbB3B284ChDoATAFegQICRAB#v=onepage&q=humectants%20dry%20climate%20study&f=false
Excellent article on dry skin in general too:
www.americanskin.org/resource/dryskin.php
Just wanted to comment for you and anyone else reading because I see so many influencers say this and it’s been spread around so much it’s accepted as truth but there’s just no evidence. Hope that helps! It’s all about how you use humectants.
That's a weird concept you got there. You use HA then Moisturiser to lock in all the moist.

Can you review “la roche-posay” !! It’s one of my favorite brands but would love to know your opinion!
Yes please! Some it is great but some of the acne products give me cystic acne.
Their products for sesnsitve skin.. Are the ONLY products that actually work and help
La roche posay is so underrated.. they are the best

Me: just woke up, had to go look for a mirror to check my face..
and what was the result?
I had the same experience with laneige. And their lip mask is questionable too. It's like using whatever cheap lip balm you have in your house 🤦🏻♀️
BTW: I use normally now use La Roche Posay Toleraine milk cleaser after my Dermalogica 'pre cleanse' oil cleasner OR 'byTerry' Rose Oil cleanser followed by Elemis Rose milk cleanser,
I used the clean and clear with the apricot scrub too LMAO and as an oily faced girl, it was not doing me any favors
10th / 13th step.. ;)
Yes! After a wash I use toner...serums...moisturizer THEN this mask.
Thank you!! I cannot stand the laneige sleeping mask. It did nothing and i dont understand the hype whatsoever
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is a absolutte joke!! Way to much fragrance!

I loved that you didn't edit out that darn dog hair or whatever. Immediately liked the video.
I switched to cetaphil after Aveeno stopped making their cream cleanser that I liked and same thing has happened to me. Dry, Dry, Dry in my T-zone no less!
Dog hair is literally the biggest part of my life right now 😅 my puppy is SHEDDING!
Cerave Hydrating facial cleanser is way better than the Cetaphil gentle cleanser. No drying ingredients which strip the skin.
hostronic the cerave cleansers break me out SO BAD! Especially the hydrating one. It made my acne worse than ever. Just goes to show how different everyone is. Lol
I love your voice. That British accent is so melodic.
you honestly terrified me with the cetaphil in the thumbnail 😭 i don't use it on my face but it's the only thing i feel comfortable washing my pet geckos' stuff with (dishes, caves, leaves, etc.). i'm so glad there's nothing actually wrong with it cause geckos are super sensitive !
omg it's soooo nice to hear someone else disliking the laneige sleeping mask !!
My sister breaks out while using cetaphil but I don’t 🤔
Thought I was the only other person who couldn’t get on with Cetaphil, I found it extremely drying.
I tried it once. That was enough. It BURNS , Precious!
I, too, have been personally victimized by Clean&Clear™️
I don't like Cetaphil too! Only in 3 days my skin got breakout.
Same thing happened with me and the Laneige product, I thought I was the only one!
In my 50 years old now i just do my basic skin care...and enjoy life...💜
you’re skin is perfect omg 🥺
I mean you apply it you feel good
But if you stop using it,
You will end up with a red polka face.
And garnier,
I hate garnier products except its bb cream and yeah that acne cream thats better but its miceller Fraganence is oh my!!!
I prefer pink one.
(Anyway i dont use miceller water. )
And cetaphil,
I dont know why though its rating is good and not really harmful product is there, still i ended up having pimples.
Hmm.. Its better said"Cetaphil is for those who dont have acne"
And yeah guys if you guys want recommendation
Then,

Simple miceller gel facewash is the best and cheap one.
Also cerave cleanser(if you have money, i dont TT)

Same boat with James regarding cetaphil, for some reason it just stings my skin (smile area and around my nose corners).
I don't think it'll ever forgive me.
laneige water sleeping mask is overhyped. it literally dried me out :/
I was literally taking my makeup off using the garnier micellar water when you mentioned it AHAHAHAHA
I just realized that he uses Odd Eye Circle’s “girl front” in his intro!!! Omg XD
EW THE CLEAN AND CLEAR BLACKHEAD CLEANSER GAVE ME TRAUMATIC FLASHBACKS 😭😭😭
“Baby wipe juice” 🤣🤣🤣 I felt the same way about the Laniege product! The best product for waking up with super-moisturized skin is IT Cosmetics Secret Sauce. Terrible name, I know, but the hydration is amazing!
I am obsessed with IT COSMSTICS. Almost the ONLY product I use.
The way you say 'klaen-saaah' is so soothing......
It goes to show skin is diff the micellar water works wonders for me
Hey what type of skin you have?
I'm sitting here wondering if it was micellar water in general or Garnier specifically.
That exact yellow bottle it has argan oil or something sucks. The Blue bottle is good.
