Did maverick city or elevation ever claim this to be a “worship” album- or did y’all just assume? Genuinely asking. Maybe they did not make these song’s primarily for a worship band to sing on stage. Maybe they’re just making music expressing their love for Jesus and how they’ve experienced it. Worship is worship. Doesn’t have to be a certain way. ? Wow.
My “typical corporate worship” songs are warfare songs. Worship is to invite the presence of God into a room and to war against the enemy. I love Christian songs that have a more wordy, poem like vibe (like this song). I would just never sing them in place of a song that will wage spiritual war. I feel that one of the largest mistakes happening in churches right now is mediocre worship. (I do not mean talent wise.) It’s always fun to sing “You’re a good good father” but it is far better to declare “you’ve never lost a battle and I know you never will”. Worship is warfare and I think we often forget that.
I don't know if you guys watch elevations' church services that stream but they led this song for worship. i think you wouldn't do all the verses, probably the first one but it still works as a worship song that can be led in church
The talking took away, you shd ve just listened and soar like the song intended. This is needed to be listened n be quiet. We did not need to hear you I was looking forward to how it will reflect on your spirits. Stop moaning abt those that r not there. Disappointed with yr reaction
Also that build through the first line of the second chorus - well spotted! It's one of the things I love most about the song! First time you hear it you're like wait why are they building, we're already in the chorus haha!
I'm sorry warship leader hub, just landed on your channel randomly but I think, you just haven't understood God's love, but these are testimonies that bring people to love God more and more. And another thing is warship is warship doesn't matter which ground leads it
I agree. and I know plenty of people with these exact specific testimonies that these songs are telling, that if they were sung publicly would mean the world to them. I'm willing to sacrifice a few lyrics in a song that don't personally apply to me and praise God with those that are around me.
@@matthewmorneau3388 I agree. I think what we meant is it just isn’t what you’d typically see in church. But I mean I wouldn’t be mad at all if someone did one of these in a service. The testimonies are amazing!
Elevation is better than Maverick City IMO, but I do like them together. Are you watching the video at the same time, because this video is just...YES, Testimony. Perfect description, people are on the floor crying, etc. It is so moving.
This song is powerful... Hands down... Heaven will not be divided into musical groups...just worshipers praising the Lord.
It is very powerful! I relate to it so much!
True what are they doing asking for elevation who cares whose singing really what matters is worship is on
This song is absolutely incredible. The authenticity, the energy in the room, the honesty of the lyrics. Just so good.
I literally love Maverick city they’re new album old church basement is out now!!! Also I get so excited whenever they put anything out
Literally my favourite worship group😂😂
ME TOO🤍

We never made the claim they “claimed this as a worship album”. Just simply stated what we thought... it is a reaction video after all 😄😄
@@worshipleaderhub1 I never said you did. I was asking. Thanks!
There’s more to God than your typical corporate worship songs
Most of these CCM songs don’t really have a deeper meaning behind the lyrics and aren’t always based on straight scripture

How is this a react video if you cut and skip through the song
We just didn’t want to make the video too long!
Hear the whole song.
I would argue that all of the songs on this album, which came out tonight, are corporate worship songs.
I agree.

Of course! Thanks for clearing that up though, no hate here. You guys seemed to be a little disappointed in the video is all.
“Elevation is the best”…. ehhhh idk about that one. Mav city is better for me, but love both of them sm
