Bio: Leonardo Torres was raised Catholic and left the church at age 18 after being threatened to be kicked out for asking questions about the bible concerning his grandfather's death. He identified as an Atheist for 12 years and spent that time actively arguing with street preachers, witnesses and anyone else who brought up religion. At age 30, he had a strong encounter with God that made him drop his Atheist title and he became a free follower of GOD which he calls, "The Great Spirit". Taking God seriously and following Him wherever He leads him, Leonardo started this UA-cam Channel reaction to music as a "Non-Christian" musician reviewing Christian music. Through the music and the stories he began to learn more about Christ and considers himself a Student of Christ. Whether that means "Christian" or not is yet to be determined, but this channel is like a lost and found for lost sheep, Leonardo's goal is to create a safe space where God can find those who are yearning for Him. Leonardo wants to remind followers of Christ to love one another as they were commanded. The main theme of this channel is "Spread Love", and that's what we do, we take the love that God has given to us and we spread it to those who need it.

I have followed your channel since the beginning and have been inspired by your spiritual conviction and growth. I also wanted to thank you for all of the stopping and explaining you do. This may seem odd but I am profoundly Deaf with a great love for music, the beautiful irony of God's creation. This was, by far my favorite video because with my headphones I can feel the vibrations and how you explain what is being played helps me recognize what is going on. I now know ok that vibration was a bass, that was the drums, that was a collaboration of instruments. When you explained the vocalizations I automatically invision something visual happening so when you say they go up, or pull from a deep place my visualization of the song changes because how you described this version is different than Hillsong because of your explaination. Thank you for allowing all of us to be a part of this journey with you.

Osby Berry's heart is so filled with God's Holy Spirit that he progresses from merely performing the technical aspects of this beautiful hymn, to Worshiping on stage. He is able to let his God-given gift take over and use his considerable talent to deliver the Holy Truth of this song. This was the first version of the song that I ever heard and still my favorite.

Although i do love Hillsongs version, i gotta say this one is my favorite bc I love to see/hear the real, the raw emotion coming from him, near the end he got so overwhelmed and its so beautiful to me bc i also cannot sing this song without crying.. I also want to add, i know God is not an emotion, but when i think of His creation and His love it overwhelms me to the point of tears and heart pounding out of my chest. I am with you on the struggles with the concepts of Father and Love because of my earthly father, BUT....the Heavenly Father has been making a way for me and the Holy Spirit has been filling in the gaps. I pray that for you as well.
God is Love. That is possibly the most profound statement ever made. All of us remain "works in progress" trying to understand I Corinthians 13:12 pretty well sums our earthly condition up. Bur we are blessed with God inspired song and presentations like what Osby gives here to remind us of the glory of God reflected in an artist like this! Keep on searching for meaning; it pleases God that we try to understand, I think.

This is the version I wanted you to see, it is hands down the best in my opinion, Osby not only has an incredible voice, but it's also full of depth and vulnerability which is a true sign of truly great singers, not just technically good, which he also has for days, but he is singing from the depth of his heart, soul, and spirit with sincerity and conviction all at the same time. Perhaps you've gotten so used to the mainstream worship like Hillsong that you've been mesmerized by the never ending trend to do "whisper christian music", where it brings a trance like state, but I get annoyed with how overused this technique is, and how neglected being real and truly awake in christiandome has become. Ive had enough of the sleepy whisper new age esk meditational sounds in christian music, that give it a shallow and plastic unoriginal insincere feel. I want something real and I want something true, and I want that worship from the fire from the Holy Spirit, and the Bible says, "those who worship must worship in spirit and in truth" The spirit of God is like fire, and the truth cannot be compromised, and Osby's got it.

You know you gonna be a pastor...you are amazing when it comes to understanding music. It speaks to you and you understand it perfect. Most of all you are a powerful worshipper of Christ and you will make music in future that will make people know about Christ. I have been a follower and a worshipper of Christ but the way you understand music, it shows how much you are naturally have it in your blood. Continue listening and reacting you remind us also how important certain parts we didn't connect with in these lyrics but God is using you to build faith to the already followers of Christ which deepens our walk with God.

This version of this song was the one that truly brought me to my knees on my walk back to the Lord five years ago.
It’s insane that I was in that exact crowd of a few hundred confused middle schoolers. I never thought only one of the many songs sung that weekend would be a viral sensation. All of the songs sang that year at Crossroads Student Ministry Camp was amazing. Especially when they sang Reckless Love, where I first felt god’s love the same day this song was sung.
