Thank you Squibrail, yea this is a great location to get meets. There is a defect detector just past the turnout in the video, but it's just a dragging equipment detector and doesn't talk if no defect. The detector in the video is for the westbound Z, the detector is located just 4 miles west of this location. Thanks for watching my friend!
Thank you John! I did quit for several years, things came up and I couldn't do the videos anymore but that's in the past and I'm back at it again! Thanks for watching my friend!
I have to hand it to the author, everyone loves a train horn but these videos are awesome because of the lack of them. Nothing like hearing the engines go by and operating speeds and hearing the thump of those massive Pistons pulling that entire train!! 🤘 nice vid
Thank you Larry, I really appreciate that! I love a train horn as much as the next guy, but I just prefer to choose locations away from grade crossings, if I can, and like you stated, you just can't beat the sound and feel of monster horsepower! Thanks for watching my friend!
Thank you Bruce, unfortunately I lost her back in January, she was just shy of 14 years old. Glad to hear yours is doing fine. Thanks for watching my friend!
BNSF is constantly maintaining their track work on a regular basis, the zoom on the camera accents movements like you describe. Thanks for watching my friend!
Great video, my friend. I really like American railroads. I have several videos on my UA-cam channel about Brazilian railroads. I even have a simulator cabin at home.
Thank you. The conductor actually got on the radio and said "you're getting some great video today" I was able to hear him as I have a scanner. I thought that was pretty cool! Thanks for watching my friend!
Noticed quite a few containers from R&L Carriers on the first two intermodals. I don't usually see very many of them in my neck of the woods. I'm in Norfolk Southern's ex-PRR territory south of Lake Erie and into the upper Ohio River valley. I see the vast majority of their freight moving on the highway.
I've been seeing quite a few of the R&L Carriers, both containers and pigs on the stack trains for at least a year now. Most likely they ship them via rail to the west coast and then use the truck for local delivery. Thanks for watching my friend!
@@PacificNWRailfan That might be the case, especially when they have a full container going to one or two terminals. Here, there are about six terminals in about a four hour drive apart. I'm a linehaul driver for them out of the Youngstown OH terminal. I usually run to either Buffalo NY or Hagerstown MD
That is an interesting height right at the top of the locomotives. You get a full dose exhaust. Nothing like the smell of diesel exhaust in the morning!!! 😁👃👍🇺🇲
Thanks John! I don't mind the smell of a little diesel exhaust but at the speed they're traveling, the wind created by the train blows the majority of it away before I could get more than a whiff! Thanks for watching my friend!
What's funny is where I live, the ONLY thing I see is CSX, and BNSF is considered foreign power. I'll often see oil trains rolling through the Trenton Subdivision or something.
Thank you Kelly! There was plans to install a bridge here. They had the approaches and abutments built before the project was cancelled. Now it's a great spot to video trains! Thanks for watching my friend!
man you found a good spot.loved that oil train.great train watching spot.
Thank you Johnny! Yes indeed, this is one of my favorite spots! Thanks for watching my friend!
Awesome video, my friend. I love that spot for some reason, even though they are all beautiful. Thanks for the video David

I am shocked after counting the cars of a train and double stacked 💥Impressive buddy ❤
Thank you RaiLoversPKofficial and thanks for watching my friend!
Good catch of that meet with the tanker train knocking down the block signal and we could hear the defect detector too.

Haven't seen a video from you in a while...thought you'd quit. Great to see the great Northwest again!

Watching those tank cars roll through that switch, each gives a twitch to get back upright. Probably would be a good idea to take close look at it.

Great moment two trains meet in same time and crew oil train notice you while railfaning.

that oil train looks like a snake or slinky as it moves over from the siding to the main track great shot!
Thank you Jim, it sure does! Thanks for watching my friend!
