Thank you John! You have a good point there, I'm usually not this close. There is a bridge here and I was behind the bridge pier. Sort of gives one a false sense of security. I really appreciate the advice. While I never turn my back on a train , just in case there's a loose tarp, banding, or what ever, I really never though about snow/ice coming off them, but I certainly will now, thanks! You're welcome Lanang! It's just the luck of the draw as to which trains I catch when I go out. Z trains are my favorite too! The Z trains destination is Seattle/Tacoma, Washington or Portland, Oregon. I'm not sure how many Z trains for the Libby area, it's at least two westbounds and two eastbound each day.
