A neat PC., and it can handle a maximum of 2 GB., of ram., it has sata so if an SSD., was fitted then a Linux OS., could be installed, LMDE 6 is available in both 32 bit and 64 bit, Bodhi Linux may also be worth trying.
I wonder how usable it would be for day to day stuff. Looks like the chipset can do h264 decoding so maybe it could even do youtube with the h264 plugin! And if the board can take a dual core too....
@@mattsqwrl socket 939 was available at the same time as socket 754 - the most popular coolers would be just a brick of aluminium with solid bottom and some fins on the top with the cooler attached to it with one snap on/lever to mount it running in the middle of said cooler also that copper plate on heatsink - just screams intel for me. either way the cooling solution isn't standard here as mounting method for amd it's almost the same since socket 754 till newest am5
interesting find! thanks for sharing man
"Oh my goodness, it's a Deskstar." 😂😂

Close!
first time seeing a cpu cooler like that for amd o.O seems like asus made some weird choices...
Oh how's it differ? It's a surprisingly custom machine, they must have made the motherboard just for this PC! The PSU isn't standard either.
