I think the sweetness of the pineapple doesn't really complement the savory flavors of the pizza. It's just not my cup of tea. But of course, everyone has their own preferences when it comes to food. What you call Canadian bacon, Canadians call it back bacon, As to what back bacon is a cut of bacon that includes the pork loin from the back of the pig. It may also include a portion of the pork belly in the same cut. It is much leaner than side bacon made only from the pork belly. Back bacon is derived from the same cut used for pork chops
Same, needs sauce stripes and not a pool of it on top! That's why Detroit style > Chicago (even though I heard a more flat, tavern style is more appropriately Chicago).

The sauce, like my fellow Michiganders mentioned, is not slathered on top, but actually "striped" like the stripes on an American flag. It might be worthwhile to try making a Detroit Style Pizza and compare it against other pizza styles you have previously made.

I may try some of your dishes with the substatute that I've found for pineapple...that substatute is white nectarines when they are just slightly under-ripe, to me they have almost the exact same flavor and texture as pineapple ( i say to me because i know everyone's tastebuds are different ). Feel free to try my substatute as well, if you want to know my reasoning for why i need a substatute that's below. I can't have Hawaian pizza as i'm deathly allergic to pineapples, I'd love to try it if i wasn't allergic to pineapple (don't ask how i found out, it was an experience and i nearly died 2 times in one day becuase of it)....but because i'm allergid to pineapples i can't. I'm not going to say it's bad because i haven't tried it, but i can't try it, so i'll take your word that it is super yummy.
