Fuel pump replacement in a 2016-2019 first gen gmc sierra 1500 5.3l

THANK YOU! I have a P0445 Major evap leak. I took my truck to the shop today to inspect the fuel and evap system. Everything looked sound. I felt on top of the fuel pump and there was fuel soaked mud... I am betting that ring is probably bad and is letting fuel leak...
If I remember I will update. I am happy GMC had the sense to use a plastic fuel tank.
