By far the best content creator in the scene, and one of if not the only who to publish a paper on his findings (RDS on pistols). Definitely need more who take an academic-style approach to all of this stuff.

Ive got one on my custom AR and i love it
got the NOX w/o the suppressor attachment on a recommendation from a brother service member (put it on a 14.5). So far from the bench (re-zeroing) one can tell the difference, wanted to shoot it more but holding on to my 556 ... reasons.

Waited for the nox to come in stock a couple months ago. I settled on the forward controls birdcage comp. now that I can get my hands on the nox, I’ll grab one and compare.

Did you get the keymo version? Both keymo and standard both will get to 16” with a 13.7” barrel correct?

I definitely get a lot of flash signature from both of the Nox devices I own.
That being said, I love how shootable it makes my AR pistols.
The NOX has become my favorite device, run one on my 13.7" and 10.5", going to add to my 11.5" and 14.5" soon...it's the best all around combat device I have ever shot, and that is a lot of difference devices. SOLGW is killing it and I am so very proud of the company they have become, a real ass kicking American company based on substance vs marketing.

Since you said the Nox doesn't fit on the Nomad suppressor, I have a question: Does it fit with an EA Vox suppressor? I'm not sure what the internal dimensions of the can are, but the Vox is what I was looking into for my first suppressor. If it doesn't fit I'll just get a Sandman lol.
Does the mount version work with the dead air pyro and blast shield?
Any plans to do a closed tine version similar to the CTN warcomp?

On the Deadair Sandman Keymount Flash Hider - 5/8x24, just want to be sure - your saying if I get a 16” 300 BO barrel cut to 13.9” then it will be a legal 16”? Is that correct?

I WANT the “timing” aspect of a ‘neutral’ or specifically-clocked MD to be DEMONSTRATED. Respectfully...ALL things considered, it sounds like ‘fairy dust’ or gimmicky. IF it CAN BE proven, perfect. WHO out “here” is such a PRO shooter that it would ACTUALLY matter..? AGAIN, respectfully. And I ALWAYS time everything (that’s required) for a neutral pos..for the L & R capability..

So the NOX is actually a comp, and not just a flash hider? I shoot competitively, and two governing organizations do not allow brakes or comps-- flash hiders only. Dumb rule, but they don't want gas hitting competitors on your left and right. I want a 13.7" gun, but if a comp is P&W I cannot use it, or would have to send it back to get changed out.
It's like their version of the Surefire Warcomp. It's a hybrid flash hider/muzzle brake.

Of course you can. The Nox is alot like the Surefire Warcomp but for Dead Air cans. Although I'm not sure about if you can time the Warcomp.
