I used to use the maui cream. I stopped using it because of the same reason you said, the weigh down. Im currently using the aunt jackies gel. I use it on top of my Aussie curl leave in cream. I defuse my curls on low and i love it !
I've been deciding whether or not to buy the Aunt Jackie's Gel. I have type 2/3 ( more 2 than 3 lol ) hair and I'm desperately needing some more hold. Think it will help? I'm from South Africa, so its exciting to finally see a review of a product that's available here :) x
Do you have any recommendations for some sort of hydrating serum or scalp treatment I can just leave on my scalp? I also get dandruff. I saw you use the biotin hair growth one but is there any other ones that you like not necessarily for hair growth?
I need recommendation for a good leave in. That is not to expensive, my go to leave in Shea moisture went up to 15$ at walgreens. My curls are colored treated. I don't use any heat.
This is the perfect hair length 😍 its beautiful! It’s still long yet super thick, with a lot of volume! I hope to grow my hair this long 🙏

I think it depends on the leave-in you use? Not too sure. I've been heavy handed with it too and it didn't flake on me.
