Such a great knife I always have one in my pocket. The combo serrated one cuts through boxes like they are made from air. And for the price it's hands down the best knife on the market.

I have 3 Kershaw: I have 2 Leeks and a Tactical, and love both. Leek is my EDC, although I’m going for a BM Griptilian or Barrage. The action on all my Kershaw are butter smooth action. 40 bucks though? I paid 100 for each one of my Leeks, and they’re worth every penny. I’ve gotten them in various packaging though. 2 were in boxes, my back washed leek came in a blister pack. I accidentally bought a Chinese Spyderco and Kershaw smokes those Chinese knives. I can’t agree w this review. Smooth, small, action is awesome. Dude, you got a steal
I HAPPEN TO LIKE THE "KERSHAW LEEK" A LOT - I KNOW THEY OPEN SMOOTH AS SILK - YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE DESCRIPTED ABOUT WHY YOU DIDN'T LIKE THE WAY IT OPENED - PERHAPS YOU SHOULD MAKE A POST HERE AND EXPLAIN IN DETAIL WHY YOUR "LEEK" DID NOT OPEN IN A MANNER SUITIBLE TO YOU.
Leek has many great attributes. However for me, the knife is too slick while in the hand...because of this I've moved on to the Kershaw dividend with GFN scales as well as the Kershaw Salvo. If you love the Leek I highly recommend looking into these models. Side note. Another lightweight, thin profile knife to consider is the Kershaw Skyline. Probably the best knife I've ever owned under $50.
Wow! I have two leeks and I love the action! Mine are very fast and smooth as silk. I do admit I have open and closed them hundreds of times with one hand. I'll do it hours straight watching movies or whatever without even thinking about it, just for practice. It's by far my favorite pocket knife...
Dude, stop trying to use big words. Efficentness? You also completely missed use case, or talking qbout it being a hollow point grind. Also, Kershaw speedsafe is very much not a spring, that would make it an automatic. Its a torsion bar in a design thats beaten every court case saying it has a spring and is automatic.

I've got two, one is a carbon fiber. IMO you got a great knife for $40.00
The leek is the only knife I carry for 25 years.
No problems from knife at all
I have a kershaw blur it opens faster than most automatic knives please keep doing other reviews

I use strategically placed pieces of skateboard grip tape on mine and it eliminates the slippage 100%.
