New here, my hubby is a trucker and I got him the one for truck plug and he Loves it. He been so excited to be eating hot food, not cold sandwiches.. This box been a game changer for hubby now he gets to eat a healthy meal. He loves his rice with every meal and now he don't have to wait to come home to get it....🤣🤣🤣
Viola Mckar that is wonderful. Working on the road is tough particularly in the winter months. Having a hot cooked meal during break would warm him all the way to his soul. I think your hubby will appreciate & love you more.
So hubby been taking leftovers and smiling more when he look in his lunch bag. He told me the one he seen in the truck stop was a lot more than what I bought it for on Wish...😂😂😂
My dad used to be a trucker for a little under a decade. Definitely know some of the troubles and hardships that come with it. Glad your husband is able to eat healthy, hot meals and not instant ramen or gas station food all the time haha
If you leave the plastic lid off ( it's meant for travelling so ingredients don't spill before adding water) the top bowl and steam the rice, it works awesome. I've not had a fail yet in my Itaki Lunchbox. I cooked this exact Ramen today in my lunchbox with dumplings, cold water and left it cooking till it turned off. Perfect. :)
THANK YOU! I have noooo idea what I am doing here! The directions...lacking. I did'nt know if I was supposed to use it or not...seemed dubious. I saw one lady use it just to warm up leftovers and I questioned the usage of that! It's taking people just like you and DaBoki here to teach us, Itaki needs to hire a writer.
I bought one of these different brand tho after your last video on this. It looks amazing. I had to have one. My law school has like 2000 student and they only have 3 microwaves.....☹. Maybe for meal prep pre cook the rice for the week and just reheat in the lunch box and it will be done with the noodles
I think you should try cooking plain rice and steamed eggs in the electric lunchbox. Just stirfry some ground meat season w/ fish sauce & pepper then simply add beaten eggs. Let the water from the rice cooking to also steam the eggs. I think that would be awesome
I'm really glad you're still making content, been following you for yearsssss, through the maplestory, minecraft times, daboki mondays, oh man. Much love dude keep up the great work :D
How are you liking it? I was rather impressed! I cut up some flank and threw in veggies and rice and it made great! Very impressed by it's simplicity. I hate the lack of instructions! Even then the instructions are dubious...i have the pro and it said to put in 2 cups of water for the rice...the reservoir will NOT hold 2 cups! So that alone made me question the little cook book and times.
Rizzo Henri I like mine...I never really bother with the instructions for products like tbh (cause I’m a rebel like that 😂🤷🏽♀️) but I will admit that I had to fail a couple of times before it worked for me 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤣
I have one of these and it's my best friend on days I needed to warm up some leftovers for lunch. I'd let the rice cook first beforehand because it takes a longer time to cook. Then, I'll start cooking the noodles. I'd get the soup going first, and add the noodles in the last few minutes. It just takes longer. Lol!
Ok, you say eating noodles for a first date? Not great.. but! I beg to differ, my boyfriend took me to a Japanese noodles shop here in downtown dallas for my birthday. I love ramen, with ALL the fixings! He on the other hand, just noodles and meat. It was both our first time going, and we had pork buns and dumplings. Everything was amazing! Even though it wasnt a first date, I'd say it was more of the experience of trying something new, but traditional in other cultures. P.s. I've been looking to buy an electric lunch box because I get up for work at 5am, still running a lil late, so I always throw something together and see how i handle the day with my snacks and what not. I bought an off brand one and had great reviews. It'll be here Tuesday. I've already wrote down a few recipes to test out. Now I'm stuck watching all your videos lol. You make great food! Cant wait to try some! Thank you!
Now Mr. Noodles just needs to change their noodle shape from rectangular to circular and I'll be set! (Thanks for the video, it was entertaining and super helpful!)
As a bonus note from my own experiments, if you have some broccoli or Italian-stye deli chicken, they both go really well with instant ramen. And if you want to toss an egg in, _definitely_ do it near the end when the ramen's mostly cooked, not at the start when the water's cold (I tried it that way and the egg coated the noodles and prevented _both_ of them from cooking properly).
It is alot of trial and error with the electric lunch box. But I have to say, making Bulgogi in it is my absolute favorite. I make it at work all the time and I brought homemade kimchee with me to go with it. Thanks for the video and idea to try making Ramen!
OMG this is my favourite ramen and I never realized it was the ramen you used way back in your original video because I didn't start eating it until like a year ago
I’m happy to see your videos, I’ve seen so much changes and honestly I don’t care what you make because you seem to make them all entertaining. I may miss the old videos like maple mondays and all your maplestory videos and honestly I quit maple long time ago but every time I see your vids, even though it’s not anywhere related to maplestory, I end up opening my account for nostalgic purposes. Keep up the vids!
Hey Daboki ,greetings I saw this and now I have one of these by far the best thing I have purchased ,thanks for showing how to make recipes 👍🙂 i already make spaghetti; and chicken ,veggies, and some eggs and pho 🍜
Nice video :D. I never thought of adding samjang or gochujjang to my ramen got to try that next time. The only particular reason I think your rice came out a bit hard is because you may have added not enough water. I usually discovered by adding more water or less rice solved the issue :3. Just a 2 cent that I hope will help with your cooking :)
How long did you end up cooking the noodles? I just ordered one of these and am looking forward to experimenting. Seems like you need to start the rice & broth first, then add the noodles after the rice is done?
I wonder if you can cook steaks or hamburger in there. Would be useful. I saw a video on someone cooking a steak in the dryer. That worked better than expected, actually.
Really enjoying your Itaki videos and tutorials. Have you traveled with it yet and if so, how have you prepped food for long distance/away from fridge? Thanks.
Sometimes I mix the rice with the ramen liquid but usually I put the rice on a spoon and get a little liquid on the spoon and it just flavors the rice perfectly without drowning it 👌 Also, I love putting green onions and carrots in my ramen it’s so good
Hey DaBoki! I'm a new follower and I wanted to thank you for these lunchbox videos! I just got one recently and the only thing I've done so far is the hard-boiled eggs. Could you do a video with noodles AND an egg on top? (similar to how you'd crack an egg over ramen traditionally) Also, do you have links to the seasonings you used on Amazon? I live in a small town so I don't have access to any sort of Asian market.
I thought I was the only one! When I have extra broth from the ramen I usually pour it into a bowl of rice and--ohhhh, my--it makes the rice experience so much better
Anything without msg? I ended up buying some tiny canned curry pastes/soup that didn’t have msg on the label (still could have it in there). Msg gives me a headache but I would love to try those bases you use. The ones I’ve come across have msg in them.
I kinda understand the green onion thing. My bf hates whole mushrooms, but I can't get enough. So everytime he complains about it, I'm like "Y U NO LIKE MUSHROOMS!!!" Ò__Ó
Hi, I just found your channel and you have a new fan! Thank you so much for posting this cooking videos, I bought and Itaki and had no idea as to what else to cook besides rice and vegetables in it, was kinda at a loss with no recipe book - you're my savior! Lol! xD Totally awesome I ran into your channel, I will be cooking several of your recipes so please keep up the good work! ^^ Oh by the way! You're not supposed to cook with that plastic lid, that's just for storage the food in the containers! xP
I've been binge watching your videos because I'm interested in the Itiki, but THIS time, I got curious about the ingredients you use. I looked up ssamjang and found a recipe to make it that included doenjang and I think it was gochujang? Well, I got even more curious and looked to se if I could order this stuff on Amazon and there it was. So I checked Walmart's website. Will you believe Walmart's is charging 97 dollars for a pound of ssamjang?? On Amazon it's only 10 dollars!!! Crazy!! For 97 bucks it had better be some serious gourmet food!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great video! Try to put in some asian baby Bochoy and either seafood or some type of meat will be great as well. A perfect first date should be grilling a lot of meat out on the beach....
Can I use this in replacement of a microwave ? not interested in cooking in device more interested in reheating in this to replace microwave can unit be used to reheat?
Probably not, unless you separate the pots from the lunchbox and cap the pots up. The moisture in the fridge may affect the electrical components in the lunchbox.
I was thinking that you put too much rice in for the amount of water that would fit in that tiny upper bowl. And also takes much longer to cook than the noodles, hehehe But, looked delicious!
Aaah this makes me wish I could appreciate spicy food, I want a taste of this! But I can't handle it, so I guess I'll just be happy for you. Think I'll try more veggies in my sad instant ramen, though.
First thumbs up 😀. I think i should get one. XD hey David, what brand is that is that electrical bento box? Hmmm first date cheesecake factory, 2nd date sushi, and 3rd Korean bbq.
Your soup boiled over into the bottom section. Think of the pot as a steamer. The timer sets itself according to the amount of water in the bottom of the pot. It will shut off when that water is used up, to prevent it from boiling dry. Who eats rice and noodles together? Two starchy foods - nope. Protein, vegies and rice or noodles.
imagine you in the office cooking your lunch with thing on the desk, everyone is peeping their eyes over the desk deviders wondering what the heck you doing? the boss comes in holding piles of paper and sniffs the air, "what in gods name is that smell?"

Lol was going get mine one wish was in blue so guys don't feel weird 😆. He escorts oversize trucks all over US.
That’s so cute! So happy, warm meals are a game changer if you’re on the road for the longest
So hubby been taking leftovers and smiling more when he look in his lunch bag. He told me the one he seen in the truck stop was a lot more than what I bought it for on Wish...😂😂😂

Do NOT cook using that clear plastic coverrrrr!! THAT is for use when storing the unit!

Wish you made a full playlist for recipes or hack videos for this tiny toy😍😍😍

I hope you do more of these...just bought one and I’m definitely trying this!!

Just bought one! Thanks for all the great tips! Will be a bit before I get it. But looking forward to eating healthier!
I want one now😱😱 please make more videos with other food items for this ! This is awesome !!
I’m craving a ramen now. Will definitely try that spicy paste. Thank you for sharing.

I bought this but felt a little intimidated about what to make so your videos have helped a lot. I made ramen and some frozen dumplings on top.
I’m happy to see your videos, I’ve seen so much changes and honestly I don’t care what you make because you seem to make them all entertaining. Daboki please do a remake of this recipe with the right timing!🙏🏻
This lunchbox pops again, so I got it, fingers crossed. Got the Itaki brand, it’s bigger than that one and looks cute, hope it works well!
Ohhh give me an update on how you like it
I just ordered mines a pro version also
Hey there.... I was looking for lunch heather and found your channel. Very entertaining. Love the first one and second vid. Pls keep updating !!
Hey! I'm glad you were entertained haha. I'll make sure to make some more cooking videos. Thanks for enjoying
I always look forward to these videos every week. Also what was that ending? I expect my "goodbye" 😂
Hey Daboki ,greetings I saw this and now I have one of these by far the best thing I have purchased ,thanks for showing how to make recipes 👍🙂 i already make spaghetti; and chicken ,veggies, and some eggs and pho 🍜

YESS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
How long did you end up cooking the noodles? I just ordered one of these and am looking forward to experimenting. Seems like you need to start the rice & broth first, then add the noodles after the rice is done?
I recommend the pot version it's better and more faster than the Bento version
my dad own two resturants and this is a great 2020s cooker. You can do so much asian recipes. May eliminate clay pot
I do the same thing with leftover rice! Sauce makes the dish
Just makes sense haha
Ramen is so good!! Not sure I'd be able to handle all those spices, but it still looked amazing! Now I kinda want ramen.
You should go get ramen! Almost always a good choice
I wonder if you can cook steaks or hamburger in there. Would be useful. I saw a video on someone cooking a steak in the dryer. That worked better than expected, actually.
I love these types of videos, make more :D
Please so more. Love your video!!!
Nice video as always! Hope you had a good Christmas! Now the countdown to new years begins owo
Hey thanks testing. Hope all is going well for you too :) See ya next year
Really enjoying your Itaki videos and tutorials. Have you traveled with it yet and if so, how have you prepped food for long distance/away from fridge? Thanks.
Ah another breakfast of the day...
my favorite cooking w/ daboki
Ohhh yes! Daboki will be fun to come back to even in 2030!
My boiii Daboki bringing back the Shin Ramyun!! Got me hooked on those noodles :P
God, you're killin' me! I'm hungry now!
Please make more Electric lunch box recipe vids!! Need more ideas! The booklet that comes with it is SO lacking good instructions or many recipes!
Love the broth instead of water idea for the noodles!
OMG THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE RICE FOR THE EXTRA SOUP TIP!!! I AM SO GOING TO DO THAT NEXT TIME😍
Sometimes I mix the rice with the ramen liquid but usually I put the rice on a spoon and get a little liquid on the spoon and it just flavors the rice perfectly without drowning it 👌 Also, I love putting green onions and carrots in my ramen it’s so good

PLZ KEEP UPLOADING COOKING WITH DABOKI!
Anything without msg? I ended up buying some tiny canned curry pastes/soup that didn’t have msg on the label (still could have it in there). Msg gives me a headache but I would love to try those bases you use. The ones I’ve come across have msg in them.

mushrooms are literally the best
Hi, I just found your channel and you have a new fan! You are dominating the Electric punch box searches some how ahaha.
Probably been asked before, but what heated lunchbox is that? I'm not finding the brand in the description or anything
I've been binge watching your videos because I'm interested in the Itiki, but THIS time, I got curious about the ingredients you use. makes sense! I'll try it next time :)
I've never seen anyone enjoy cauliflower that much. Think I will be adding some to my soup now.
Thanks for making me hungry again Daboki!!
If your not home and it runs out of water, will it shut off automatically?
Came for the cooker, stayed for the Zelda shirt. Whaaat
I always catch your food videos and now im Omw to the store to buy some ramen ingredients lol that looks sooooo nummy!!
Yess hope you enjoyed your ramen
Dude I thought I was the only one who put in rice after finishing the noodles in ramen! Lol. It’s super good in the Mama noodles also!
yesss that's the best! it's like a meal that never stops giving
If you take leftovers to work, where do you place the lunchbox so the food won’t go bad?? Is it safe inside a fridge?
Probably not, unless you separate the pots from the lunchbox and cap the pots up. The moisture in the fridge may affect the electrical components in the lunchbox.
This is some super great content!!
Can it be used to just keep food warm?
Can you wash the bottom half of the lunch box? Because I notice some of the soup spill in there
Yes, be careful of the heating element there.
After watching how you cook the rice, motivated me to get one and try.
I was thinking that you put too much rice in for the amount of water that would fit in that tiny upper bowl. And also takes much longer to cook than the noodles, hehehe But, looked delicious!
You got me salivating.
Yeap...doing the same thing (ramen + rice) and love it ^_^

Soo how long did it take total to cook the ramen that way?
I've never thought to eat rice after noodles. Seems like two things that aren't the super healthiest already! I'm sure it's yummy, though!! (:
super yummy! gotta treat your self every so often haha
always waiting for another video
So how long did it end up taking for the noodles? You don't say, just that 12 minutes was not enough.
When you spend all your money on Maplestory and you’re broken for ramen 😂
I Play MapleStory tooo!!!
Aaah this makes me wish I could appreciate spicy food, I want a taste of this! But I can't handle it, so I guess I'll just be happy for you. Think I'll try more veggies in my sad instant ramen, though.
I know the feel! I love spicy food, but it hurts so much sometimes haha. There are some pretty good non spicy flavored ramen out there!
First thumbs up 😀. I think i should get one. XD hey David, what brand is that is that electrical bento box? Hmmm first date cheesecake factory, 2nd date sushi, and 3rd Korean bbq.
Goin big with the cheese cake factory I like it. I forgot the official brand name. If you search electric lunchbox on Amazon you can find it :)
I just ordered my itaki pro today and I'm so excited to try the different recipes you posted! 😊
Good luck! Hope it works well for you :)
how much water did you use?
Here before he blows up.
how many minutes in total to cook a rice?
Classic cooking with dobki❤️❤️🤗
More cooking videos please!
Those noodles are great!
YES more daboki :)
Me immediately after he pulls out the electric lunchbox: oouuu, fire
imagine you in the office cooking your lunch with thing on the desk, everyone is peeping their eyes over the desk deviders wondering what the heck you doing? the boss comes in holding piles of paper and sniffs the air, "what in gods name is that smell?"
I would do a lunch box date. Surprise me with Ramen!
I think it take at least 20 minutes to steam rice but idk how long it take for the lunch box
Spicy is the Korean noodle with the damn chicken on the front. Really love pho noodle places affordable and keeps your date full 😆
Make one in the Itaki Pro now.
eating noodles on the first date is the best just never ever take me to a place that has chicken wings jhahaha on the first date
Chicken wings are soo good
New archer class incoming Daboki :)
How much price? And how I get this box?
I’m starting to see it as a portable hotpot on the go! LOL
Still love your Videos. Greetings from Germany Mate. :)
Don’t use the plastic lid on the rice. That’s blocking the steam from cooking it right. The plastic is just to transport the food to work. 😉
haha love these vids :) you just making me more and more wanting to cook
Thanks Alex, gotta go experiment in the kitchen a bit
Actually went on a blind date and we went for pho. It could've been a disaster and super messy but it worked out totally fine 😬😬
