Just ordered one arrives in a week thanks for reviewing
As an Amazon delivery driver, I use this thing every day. I've used it for hot pockets, pop tarts, jimmy dean breakfast rolls. A buddy of mine has one too and used it for ramen noodles. This thing is awesome, the hot pockets and stuff it makes the bottom crispy and the inside hot, it's perfect.
do you often get it to start heating 30 mins or so before your break starts?
@WhateverProduction4 how long has it lasted you? i be seeing reviews only last 1-3 months & doesn’t heat anymore. i want to get one (this brand) but scared ima waste $. im also a amazon delivery driver lol
Man my girl got me this but they keep putting me in the EVS and it doesn't have a car port charger in there. Only USB
That is a good idea because I'm sure it comes in handy during the winter time
Yeah, it takes a minute to get it heated. So I’d usually set it up between stops, and let it “cook” whatever I was gonna eat for about 30 minutes. At which point the container is extremely hot so be careful. But the food was always perfect.
I don’t work for that shitty company anymore lol. 😅 That was hands down one of the worst jobs I’ve ever had.
I've just bought one and connected it to a smart plug, the idea being that as it takes me 15 minutes to walk from work, if I switch it on from my phone ten minutes before clocking off that'll give it ample time to heat up something yummy in time for me when I walk through the door.
I'll get one for my sort of girlfriend for an early birthday present for either using at work or for setting on a timer for when she finishes work.
I recommended this to somebody without access to a microwave at their workplace. It looks like it will heat up a frozen meal in 3-4 hours which is when most people have a lunch break. The rectangular size looks good for making freezer meals portioned into quart size ziplock bags, and then just dumping it in there at the beginning of your shift. This is a necessary appliance for those that eat lunch at their desks.
Thank you, sir, for this review
I use this on my long hauls in my truck👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
I just got mine and I’m super excited. I travel for work all over the country and work overnights in courthouses so I never get a decent meal for lunches. So this will be a game changer. I can finally make mini potatoes and heat pre cooked wings etc. A few of the guys have this and after seeing the meals they were able to make I can’t wait. The guys literally cook potatoes in it from raw. Just slice it and wrap in foil. When it’s pretty well close to done they add butter and seasoning and a few minutes later they are done. Then they place the potato in the insulated bag while they heat the main part of the meal and at end put it all together for another quick minute since it’s already hot and enjoy a nice meal. It does amazing with rice and many other simple foods. I’m thrilled and finally pulled the trigger and got mine since I’m leaving Monday for a week to Delaware for work. I can even hear a meal on the 6 hour drive down. Woohoo
Thank you so much for your comment. I was looking to get a heated lunchbox for my nephew who is also Amazon delivery driver. I was not sure if will work for him but thanks to you I know it will. Thank you
@@Default654 I can safely say I used this on our ride back 500 miles and I heated pre cooked Buffalo wings and some other grocery store bought items that were fresh and it worked amazing. In the vehicle definitely took longer but it was way worth it. The flavor and quality you get with this item versus a microwave is unparalleled. This would be an excellent gift for the Amazon driver. I love mine and use it every day now.
Nice, thank you, sir !
Good review. Very helpful. Thank you.
Thank you very helpful
I bought one off of tiktok a few weeks ago and used it today for the first time. I've got to say, I am impressed. I made breakfast burritos in the morning and wrapped them in foil. Around 1pm I plugged it in to my car lighter and within 30 minutes I sat down to eat lunch. Opened the foil and the tortillas had started to get crispy on the side that was closest to the heat. I highly recommend this product if you work out of your vehicle and are always on the go...
Order myself one hope there durable and last long not like my hot logic brand. I only had that like 5 mouth and it starts melting on me
Can i use microwave save plastics in this?
Nice product
Thank you…. My girlfriend got me this and the directions that came with mine wasn’t very clear about the vent. Mine said to remove the vent when using . 🤷♀️
Thank you for the clarification.
My wife got me one as well and that's the exact thing it said, thanks to Dave for pointing it out that all needs to be done is to just press down the rubber vent thingy 😅
Thinking about hitting this.
Can you do a review on the LUNCHEAZE heated lunch box this lunchbox allows you to program when you going to eat your lunch so it can automatically heat your food up according to the time that you set on the lunch box
if I had one I would! don't have that one though sorry
cara quando bota água na marmita acomida fica muito quente 🔥
What does it mean when it says “should add a little water into the box before heating, so as not to affect normal usage” on the utensil compartment lid?
That's the problem I'm facing, mine takes very long time to heat up
Does it auto shut off when it reaches a certain temperature?
I have that one, no it does not. It turns on when you plug it in and only turns off when you unplug it
Thank you. I got one exactly like this one and it says you add water so I wish to know do I add at the base or with the food? Also it says air vent to be open during warming but I see your air vent is closed, kindly clarify
I actually don't remember now, this was quite a long time ago when I did this video, sorry.
@@ItstheDaveShow1 thanks
@@ItstheDaveShow1that makes it more awesome that you respond.
Did u ever add water
You definitely add water in with the food. You're not supposed to get the base wet at all.
How would this work camping?
What about the microwave dinners? Canned stuff?
as long as you have a place to plug it in. It is a hot plate like warmer. Not really enough to cook food I don't think but if you have stuff that needs to be warmed up that is what it does.
@@ItstheDaveShow1 I have a battery power station, with 110v and 12v outlet. I’ve been buying these little non-refrigerated microwave meals, that come in microwaveable bowls. I’m thinking, if there’s some water, I should be able to just heat them up in there… Use the warm water for washing up…
It takes 10-15 minutes to set up my stove, and then, if it’s windy and rainy/snowing, or at night…
I ordered a model like this, and I’m gonna find out…
This a RE-heater.
how do you keep the food cool in the box during the day before heating it during lunch?
I suppose you can put one of those sealed ice blocks things in it? just take it out before you plug it in of course.
You’re supposed to put water in it before you heat it up. I usually put cold water in the morning and set the cold food in it. It comes with an insulated bag.
It stays pretty cold till lunch time. It’s not designed to keep things cold.
PUT the whole thing IN the refrigerator.
Put 1 bottle of water in the fridge and 1 in the freezer then put the one from the freezer with the meal stays cold for the whole day take it out b4 u heat up and u got a cold water and a room temp 1
Peut on cuisiner avec ? Genre des œufs 😊😊😊
How fast does food usually get hot in?
I think it would depend on the food, the plate inside does get hot, so depends on how you wrap it etc. You would have to test it out with what you want heated
Did you add water at the bottom or it’s not required, the instructions say add water at the bottom.
No I did not. just pizza wrapped in foil. lol
You add water in order to prevent the food from burning and sticking to the pan. You don't need to add water if the food is wrapped in foil.
i cooked in mine. i cooked raw chicken and rice and some water come back two hours later to fine cooked food
No way. That is awesome.
Hi will this heat up frozen food ? Thanks
Eventually. For TOMORROW’S lunch.
How long did it take to warm up the food?
I believe I said I had it on for about 30 min?
Can you get extra tins?
not sure about that, sorry, might want to contact the manufacture
Nice sharing
Where the water goes ? in the pan or below ?
if you want to add water do it in the pan
Does it smell a lot when heating??
I think it would depend on what you are heating up inside.
Can I put a glass box ???
yes, glass containers of food would be ok to be heated up in
I just ordered mine comes 1/11/23 cause we don't have a microwave at our shack
How so you like it?
@@graceallovermae it ok but it takes about 30 minutes to warm up not really worth it just use a microwave
@@mrbenjaminvincent thank you. Have you tried any others?
@@graceallovermae no I just got a cheap microwave for free
Heating stuff up While using the plastic containers that go inside take ages...
DUMBBELL!!! The plastics insert is only for bread, crackers, carrot sticks….stuff you DON’T want to heat!!!
GREAT job NOT stating its CAPACITY!!!!!
good day how get one to buy
the link to the product is in the video description but here it is again for you. amzn.to/3T9FLjL
does this actually get the food hot or just warm?
it can get pretty hot, the pan part does at least, I burnt my finger on it. for food I would say pretty warm to hot
Can you heat up pieces of fried chicken in it?
for sure, it does get hot but might take a while.
@@ItstheDaveShow1 Thanks. I just bought a similar gadget that I will take with me to Bangkok in a couple of weeks.
Yes you can but won't have crispy skin it'll be soggy
Follow up: I tried to warm up fried wings and it took about 45 minutes to get warm. Not bad at all. Handy for use in hotels with no microwave oven.
Is this availability a n malawi lilongwe
you can buy it here amzn.to/3FScLYe
It would have been best to test in a car socket.
it would be the same, just in your car lol
You can put food directly into it
yes
@@ItstheDaveShow1 can you heat soups and raveloi and things like that?
@@EricZ1982 yes, it does get really hot in there.
This thing is amazing. I eat in my car every day. This is a game changer. Today i had leftovers meatloaf and mashed potatoes. 30 min directly in the container and turn over half way. Thr food comes HOT
It would be easier to clean if you use aluminium foil for some foods.
They are selling fake ones in my country
My car don’t have a cigarette lighter😢
dang, most have some kind of accessory plug though. I have seen with USB ports but at least an accessory port for this kind of end as well.
You lost me at 30 minutes
Can't you do like a pasta or something when you did this review? Pizza is just not the right review
it is what I had and many people bring leftover pizza for lunch. but you could heat leftover pasta as well, the concept is the same
It was a fine review.
Youre supposed to put water in first.
where in the bottom or the bin ?
@@xxxlogicxxx7851 underneath the steel bowl
@@pwn_noobz_87_.87I just received mine it says do not add liquid to the base of the lunch box.
@@annwhite67 mine says to add a little for more conductivity
@@pwn_noobz_87_.87 Are you talking about with your food?
👎🏻
You didn't like yours?
Dave is a Dik. He could have used a better example to heat up his food. Like a stew or curry, so we can visibly see it bubbling away?!
not very nice to call me names. geesh. I used what I had, I had pizza. it worked well and showed it worked. I really don't eat stew or curry but you get one and try it out. Thanks for watching though.
@@ItstheDaveShow1 fair one Dave. My apologies. But I’m sure you get my meaning. Sorry.
What can you make with it like...eggs for example?
eggs should be able to cook easy, it is gets pretty warm / hot in there. I haven't tried to actually cook anything but it warms up stuff great
Maybe parchment paper would have been better.
Usb?
No. I think it's got the plug in for the house and a plug in for the lighter in the car.
