Before diving straight into the Xiaomi MI A3 full review, here is quick overview of the price of Xiaomi MI A3 in Nepal and India.

Xiaomi MI A3 price in India: INR 14,999 (4/64GB) | INR 17,499 (6/128GB)
Let’s start the things with the display. The phone comes with a 6.01-inch Super AMOLED panel. Xiaomi MI A3 display, however, comes with merely HD+ display. So the contents don’t look as sharp. So in terms of display, MI A3 is more of a downgrade while comparing with the MI A2. However, you can find an in-display fingerprint scanner beneath the display. Because of the in-display fingerprint scanner, th phone looks fancy. However, Xiaomi MI A3 fingerprint scanner is rather too slow. So unlocking the device can be frustrating at times.
As for the cameras, there is a triple camera setup at the back. The primary camera uses a 48MP camera, which is coupled by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. So you have multiple options while capturing the images. While performing Xiaomi MI A3 camera review, we found it to be decently good. Images pack sufficient details and colors also look fine. But while doing the Xiaomi MI A3 vs Redmi Note 7 Pro camera comparison, we found the images to be slightly better from the Note 7 Pro. Talking about the Xiaomi MI A3 selfie camera, the 32MP snapper on the phone captures amazing selfies.
Talking about the performance, Xiaomi MI A3 features Snapdragon 665 processor with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. On the storage side of things, you get 64GB and 128GB of storage. Snapdragon 665 is a slight upgrade over the SD660. So the performance on the MI A3 is slightly better than the MI A2. And while performing the Xiaomi MI A3 gaming review, we found the performance to be decent on most of the games. But when it comes to Xiaomi MI A3 PUBG gameplay, we can just play the game smoothly at low settings. On playing the game at high settings, you will start to notice stutters.
Continuing with the Xiaomi MI A3 Specs, let’s talk about the battery. The phone comes with a 4030mAh unit. Because of the high capacity, the Xiaomi MI A3 battery provides an enduring battery life. But when it comes to charging the phone, it’s quite slow. The phone takes more than 2.5 hours to get the battery fully charged. Xiaomi says that the phone supports Quick charge 4+. But while doing the Xiaomi MI A3 unboxing, we found just a 10-watt charger.

Watching this on mi a3....i was so concerned about the 720p display before buying , but there was no that much of a difference to me..because im a 480p youtube surfer. The phone looks really good...feels really good in hand...actually i was tight with my bidget , but i was so happy with this...the camera is a beast when the gcam installed...love this phone...i play codm only...not a huge pubg fan....the codm works fine.... and the battery is descent and the os is lit as always....so far , i love the selection i have done....and guys... the technology evolves every single day , and all of us does not have enough money to buy every single new piece of tech... so let us complimant the good side of this device atleast...💓💓💓 im a happy mi a3 owner.. and i love android

I like the screen resolution!!.it is like a master chess move from xiaomi, a gambit! You sacrifice some pixels to gain battery and speed.
Been using mia3 for 2 years now and the 720p screen doesn't bother me. I compared it with mia2 and there was hardly any difference in resolution, it's prob the updates that fixed the pixalation problem. Also the fingerprint sensor seems fine it's usable unlike how it was portrayed in the vid. Yap it definitely could have been better tho
I had been using mi a3 for like 2 weeks and i swear i was scared because of res but now im super happy because its normal and very good .. actually the camera is super super good and battery is extremly well... I highly reccomend this phone... 1 month ago i was between redmi note 7 and mi a3... And now im super super happy i bought mi a3... Believe me you will be happy😘😘😘

I gave up at 4:23 because I agreed the 720p isn't worth it for the Amoled. I bought a Redmi Note 7 for my niece and I was actually impressed at how acceptable that non-Amoled was. So I skipped ahead to the end to hear you say your name. I love trying to say it as fast as you.
I've been using mi a3 for 6 months now and I really love the experience I'm getting from the phone. It has just the right amount of everything for a very good price, overall it's a great phone and I full endorse it and I'll give it 4 thumbs up out of 5 and 8 out of 10

The conclusion seems more positive than the actual review.
For me the upside of the headphone jack doesn't weigh up to the downsides: 720p screen, glass back and fingerprint-scanner in the screen instead of on the back. I have Mi A2 and had Mi A1 before, but won't go for Mi A3.
The downside of Mi A3: slow charging regardless of any fast charging. At least 80mins. Video focusing not intuitive, need to touch focus even with Gcam installed.

I have the mi a3
Even though i have disabled auto brightness , when i unlock the phone using the fingerprint scanner the display brightness goes up after unlocking....then i have to manually lower the brightness

Note 7/pro looks pretty but as soon as you hold it on your palm it feels cheap,wheres A3 doesn't look sexy as note 7/pro when you hold it it feels rugged and strong.

I've got this under 10K and everything is smooth and fine! With its size, you won't notice the pixelation. Camera is superb, especially in GCAM. The in-display fingerprint is really slow but you can disable the animation to unlock the phone faster (XDA Forum) Stock Android is the best! Currently installed the September security patch and soon Android 10!

Why everyone try only to be harsh at the a3 ?
You can increase brightness/ light. But you cant increase Details.
And that what MiA3 does.
Every Sony sensor provide much details rather then brightness.

And 720 p display is best choice for long term battery life.
On 1080 p display you can gan 5-6 hour SOT. Where MiA3 provide average 10 hour SOT.even after 1 year of my uses.

This phone is just simple, classy, handy and for those who want quality rather then quantity
Hopefully mi A4 uses sd730 with 5000mah battery.. quadcam might be the norm next year

Well they need to work on the 'pro' mode of the camera I was trying to take light trails of cars with this and the pictures were totally garbage yeah there's a difference between a DSLR and a phone camera but as pro mode allows you to control the shutter speed, aperture and ISO I thought it will do just fine like Huawei P20 lite other than that the phone itself is pretty good and the 720p screen doesn't bother me that much and with that I can proudly say my money is well spent👌
