Same here!! My first round with rubber bands, I wore them too well that it created an overbite. To correct it, I had to wear my rubber bands opposite of how they went on the first time. I think the only reason my orthodontist wasn’t mad about it was because her colleague in the next station had a patient who hadn’t worn his AT ALL 😂😅

You're lucky. I only wear my bands at night yet my dentist complains my progress is regressing. It's an annoying problem because I spend most of my day at school (I eat at school and my school has no mirrors). I also like to eat snacks because I get hungry a lot and bands are such a pain.

Hey the bentist, I like your videos you do, but I was wondering if you could do a video on tips for all around oral health? I get it’s pretty simple, but I think it would be helpful if you did like a recommended toothbrush/toothpaste/mouth wash, maybe talk about if you can reverse gum retention, or like whether to floss/use mouthwash once or twice a day or however frequent, how to prevent any typical oral health problems etc. My parents never made me brush when I was younger because “they’re just baby teeth so it doesn’t matter if they get cavity’s”. Since I was young I struggled with getting into routine of good oral hygiene, and I feel like an exact cut and dry routine by a knowledgeable dentist would help (one that I know isn’t getting paid by a company to recommend their products)
I eat with my rubber bands, them sometimes snapping, I just change them out afterwards and move on.. and I don't wear them brushing my teeth. Those are the only times I don't wear them. Sometimes they snap and I don't have my bag on me, so I just put them back on when I get the chance.
i dont have braces but my best friend does and lemme just say her orthodontist must love her because i have only ever seen her without rubber bands when she is eating and girly flosses and brushes her teeth 3 times a day
