I had a bad ortho for 4 1/2 years, all my braces did was worsen the way my smile looked, braces were put on wrong and it gave me gum issues, was mistreated and was yelled at a lot for things like I wasn’t facing the right way etc. I had to go to a new ortho and was told all of this wasn’t right bc I thought it was normal. I was told I have to get my old braces taken off, get 4 teeth pulled surgically, and have to go through 2 more years of Invisalign, I get rlly anxious now going to an ortho or the dentist bc of this experience, but without you explaining how braces should be, I would still be in that situation so thank you so much Bentist

A few years back then, my brother had to take out his tonsils because he was having a hard time breathing and he wasn’t talking to much. So he had to get a check up and see what was going on and he had a really thick place of tonsils. He had to get surgery and once it was taken out another problem popped up, for some reason he had to stay at the hospital for a few weeks and found out he had pneumonia and a few weeks then he recovered safely.

I had a top and bottom spacer and it was pretty much okay but i will tell you that i had to be careful with sticky food

This is going to be a short story.
So a couple months ago I figured out that I had to get braces, I was so upset and scared but I started watching your channel and it changed everything,I ended up getting a pallet expander and I have 5 more days and then I get my braces and now instead of being scared I’m so excited to have braces! Thank you so much bentist for making me excited for this!!❤️
I am going through the same thing!! I got my braces today after having a pallet expander. Some things to expect are a bad taste, soreness, and poky wires. So with the bad taste you have this thing in called a mouth retractor that keeps your mouth open, so when they put in the chemicals that glue it you can’t spit it out so you get this really bad taste in your mouth. Expect your mouth to be sore, you’re lucky if it isn’t. If you have a poky wire TELL THEM. A poky wire causes misery. I had to drive back to the ortho today cuz I didn’t tell them, so my mouth was bleeding.

Fun fact, my father was born with his two front teeth. I wish I was able to get ahold of the newspaper clipping but it disappeared when my grandma passed away. I and all four of my kids had our first two baby teeth by 4 months old
i don't hear alot of people born with teeth but me and my sister was born with out two front teeth too!

OMG 😭 So my mom was THE ONLY oral maxillofacial surgeon in our town and anytime someone my age came in, she used that as an opportunity to ask them if they knew me and would try to hook me up with some of the guys at my school who never talked to me…. I don’t know how many times I heard “Hey! Your mom took my wisdom teeth out.” But it was humiliating.
Omg I had the braces with the doors on the brackets and my terrible ass teeth were fixed in 15 months and all my friends who had the ones with bands holding them on , had like literally a whole year or so longer in their braces and they had better teeth before braces than I did lol . THANK YOU MOLEN ORTHODONTICS ❤😂

Also, teeth that fall out naturally aren’t good candidates for preservation. A tooth is usually only preserved if it’s extracted when the tooth is still wiggling, as it’s still receiving constant blood flow. It’s then transferred from the dentist’s office to a stem cell research facility.

I have something called, Well... My friend calls them Fanger Teeth and apparently they aren't supposed to be there, you'd need braces to get them to go down. But if there's not enough spaces in between the Fanger Teeth and the other Teeth to get braces, Then you need to get them pulled out surgically or normally

I eat the ice from my soda all the time😭 Also, I just recently got 3 cavities filled, and the only part that hurt was the shot. I couldn't eat for 30 minutes.
Yeah I got mine filled the day before yesterday it was very painful-

When i got all 3 criwns i couldnt eat for 2 hours other than oatmeal or soup
@@paul-btd6669 they had a cavity really bad i guess it was deep in the tooth so they had to numb the gum and get the filling inside the tooth so it doesnt spread

i had braces, but now i dont, i actually took so good care of my teeth that i got them of half of a year early. which made me so happy. before i had braces i would skip brushing my teeth pretty often. but when my orthodontist told me that i would get holes in my teeth, i panicked and took very good care of my teeth. not i brush them at least 2 times a day, if not three. i also really want to be a dentist too. im going to go into college in a few years, and im so exited. i also am probably going to gt a scollarship because of my grades. straight A's, i look forward to it. if anything is misspelled, its very late, and im very tired.bye.
