hello!! it's another weekly vlog! i finally leave my house in this one, even if it is just to michael's lolol. i need to get out of my apt more, if not so you guys don't have to look at different angles of my apartment ad infinitum 😅

Love that you get as happy as I get when it’s dark and rainy..except I’m in Florida and it’s not as often as you have it! 😅
I know the stickers feel like too obvious a statement, but I'm absolutely sure that there are tons of children's organizations that are dedicated to teaching equality and basic approaches to life in rural areas (saying that based on the overwhelming studies showing those are the pockets of the US where racism is still very much the norm), etc. that would love a donation of those stickers and can put them to good use with their handout materials. I know the design doesn't feel right, but for a six year old, that's the level of messaging they need to receive to start the conversation. Please don't let the desire for a stronger message prevent those stickers from being put to use- that basic message SHOULD be too "small" for the world right now, but unfortunately, for many kids, the concept of CHOOSING not being racist is something that they need to be told is available to them. Those stickers would b so perfect for that.

I'm glad your rural area was absolutely unique in that regard and I hope more follow suit, but after the last decade of absolute sh*t in America, I am NOT playing games and going to just sit back and pretend that racism is NOT an issue in certain pockets of the US. Also, don't assume that anyone is a "girl"- I identify as she/her, but you have no idea of what my pronouns are. The fact that you start with "hey, girl" when you don't know me, my pronouns, or my age, says all I need to know about your take on things.

I think thorwing the stickers away is such a wast/not great for the environment as theres 1000 vinyl stickers. You could totally give them away as an optional freebie for people that want them when ordering from your shop. You could also donate them to local organisations who may want to give them out or sell for donations to help them fundraise.

I am the SAME with self-imposed commitments (they don't stick for long) but I'm on week 6 in the Artist's Way and I haven't missed a SINGLE DAY of morning pages!! This book is just wonderful for my ADHD. It feels like there's a benevolent mentor keeping an eye on me and making sure I'm doing my self care. I'm feeling unusually functional and like my life is changing in amazing ways that I never expected. I hope it does the same for you! 💜

omg thank you - Ive seen a few people talking about reading the Artist Way in their vlogs and made me want to give it a try, but I honestly can't make myself read a book unless its mandatory for uni or work.
I tried to read the artists way as I’ve seen so many artists talking about it but I got really annoyed by how much she brought up god, it just felt so far from necessary or even related to the subject matter
I can attest that The Artist's Way is dope. I completed the book and the challenges in 2021/2022 when I was feeling so lost. I was thinking about doing it again, and this video inspired me. :)

Moths are no joke! I got them in appartment this winter and I only just got rid of them, ugh. Highly recommend keeping fabric, yarn, etc in boxes, and clothes you're not wearing in vaccuum bags!

This makes me want to go into nesting mode! Oh man, back when I was daydreaming about having an art studio, a major aspect was setting up a tech desk, where the printer and scanner could be, and everything can be plugged in and used without having to bend under things and dig around in the dark, and hold little gymnastic poses, so seeing you just plop a scanner down in the open was deeply satisfying. LOL! Small pleasures.
Hi! For the stickers you don´t wanna sell anymore maybe you can put all of them in a canvas and paint with acrylics over them to make them mean something else for you. Its just an idea. Love your content

You could always add the don't be racist stickers as freebies so at least some of them get used, and this may sound completely ridiculous, but I used all my extra unused stickers to make soccer balls. You can ball up thin plastics that you can recycled and used the stickers as adhesive, I have an ongoing ball on my desk for scraps and once they get big enough, I make skins for them with scrap fabric and leather. It sounds dumb, but it's actually really satisfying to see the ball build up, and at least you know what it's being used for lol, other wise you can use them as tape for scrapbook projects as well, I've cut some misprinted shipping labels into strips and used them to hang up posters and stuff. Excited to see the next vlog!!
Why you don’t want to sell the stickers? The issue is a reality and some people need a smash 💥in their faces to remember it. Is because, You don’t want to be involves in a politic issue, or you don’t care anymore? I think the world need to live in peace ☮️ everybody has red blood. I ❤❤you

I don't know if you would be up for the extra effort but you could cut off the "don't be racist" bit and just have some pretty stickers, I don't know if that is helpful or not but it would be less wasteful. (every little helps)
because i have SO many of these stickers (over 1000) cutting off that part by hand wouldn't be feasible..i'm still brainstorming ways to not just toss em out the window!!

Thats so interesting that you're doing the artist way, i also starting listening to the audiobook recently and the morning pages are what im not doing lol that demand avoidance says NOPE if its non negotiable??? im never doing it lol but the Artist Dates, and fitting those to my own writing practice etc, once a week has been SO nice to just like sit and make time for my creativity and to grab inspiration

Personally I’d say you could add a free “Don’t be Racist” sticker in each order, that way you you can probably disperse 1/2 to 2/3 of those to your chill followers all over the country, and not add to the landfill😁 Also, I’ve been looking for a cute dish to place my “business card” stickers and I found these cute Studio Ghibli themed dishes on Pinterest, and now I think I’ll watch you friend’s video and make my own😉
