You should add a rule that the ults only count if you win, that way everyone is still incentivized to help each other while competing against the other
good idea but no cus they can go on a huge losing streak for hours on hours and we wouldn't see this video for a few months
that would work better if they all were in different matches streaming cause atleast we'll get a winner faster
You'd probably only want to push for bonus points if they win, but that sounds more for something like a fully planned 5 v 5 since they will always be at a disadvantage against a normal QP lobby
It could also be "ults count for 2 points on match wins". It would make people incentivized to help short term, BUT it would also enable a strat that you can throw depending on wether you got more or less than the others, so you not only have to keep track of your ults but on the others as well.
It stands for ultimate.

A feature to this you can implement is whenever your team wins, one mystery hero that was lost has the opportunity to be played again giving more time to the nuzzlock and giving more content such as the reaction to which hero can be played. This rewards wins while keeping the competition ongoing. It only takes one match for someone to lose 4 hero’s 👀.
Another idea to a challenge you and your friends can do would be to take 10 random hero’s and in a series of 5 (or any odd amount of matches) the person with the most points win. To earn a point, at the end of the match the person out of the 10 characters with the most ults used wins. If your character dies in a match you HAVE to swap. If at the end of the match you run out of hero’s you can replay a hero but that’ll put you negative for the match. To get out of negative you’ll have to get 2 ults for the character to earn the point for them. You’ll repeat this process with the same characters in a set rotation so it’s planned out ahead of time for the following matches. Hope this helps with getting some ideas.
Tweak what you’ll like but I’m loving the content, keep up the good work.
a good rule would be that if you win you dont lose the heros that you died on. Encourages people to not troll so you can still get some support and teamwork lol

Then you would just be playing for the win the whole game, not really worried about dying.
@@Flares_ It's roughly a coin toss for if you lose the heroes you died on or not. It encourages you to play smart and for your life in case you lose.

Bro, can I just say thank you, your dedication to content upload is insane, and were all very greatful. Im sure you get tired at times, but it really is awesome to see.
if you all do this again, you could make a rule change that you only bank the ult-used points if your team wins the map. or perhaps also do a 5v5 custom, where each team only banks points if they win the map, and at the end of the whole challenge the team with the highest banked points in total get a bunch of gifted subs divided amongst the team. that way teams are incentivized to work together, and to win the maps as well as the points. i think ending the challenge is tricky because players can run through their heroes at different rates. so maybe once a player on either team dies or ults on their last hero, then that map is the last map played, and you count up the points to see which team won overall?
another variant might be that a player cannot swap heroes until they use the ult, but they lose all of their ult charge when they die (would have to be a custom mode of course). and then maybe you could play it out until one team gets all of their players through all characters. if it's close then the last map might kinda boil down to both teams playing protect the president to get the last player's last character ult off, and then also winning the map (if you only bank ult-use points by also winning the map). essentially the whole tournament becomes a race to see which team can have all players use ult on every character first.

The rule I'd change is if you lose the match, the ults you achieved in that match no longer count. Makes people at least try, and not just suicide dive to switch heroes immediately.
There could also be a double or nothing rule, where if you run out of heroes, you can attempt to use a character you previously got an ult with, but you lose that point if they die in the next life without ulting.
the second part is a really good one but the first part doesnt make sense cus what if they go on a huge losing streak so now you're making something fun into a sweat match that isn't even content anymore lol

idk if anyone has already said this but you should add a rule that if you get a characters ult whilr in echo ult it either 1 counts as that point or 2 it puts that character back into play to try again

I feel like including supports when you're competing like this makes it super difficult, since your supports are incentivized to let you die, which just leads to everybody playing so safe they may as well be passively generating their ults.
Not sure how you'd fix that though, besides queueing as tank + 2 DPS and having the supports be randoms.

i feel like if you ult on a hero and dont die you should be able to stack up ultimates for more points. so for example, if you ult on soldier, dont die and then next fight ult again, you get 2 points, but when you die you cant play soldier anymore. that way people wont be incentivized to just troll right after ulting. would also allow for comeback upsets, how it is in this you just cant win at a certain point when people already have more than you can possibly get.
so u end the challenge with 7 soldier ult 5 dva bombs 40 pulse bombs and 3 bobs. sounds like regular overwatch to me

@@kozpain1567 that’s what i meant. i agree that if you don’t die on a character and you end up just pub stomping for hours, it would make it stale and take a long time to get through all the characters. so they should make it where you can’t rechoose them after rounds, but every ult you got in the round counts toward a score so that it isn’t incentivized to just die right after ult

Crazy Idea. Make the ult count 2x if it’s a POTG
if you could get a workshop editor to make this into a proper game mode (with features like locking heroes you die on, and upping self heal for non supports to ease the support trolling), playing against another team who are also competing could make this less frustrating

I think flats has a video where they compete to see who gets all of them first. They are allowed to switch characters tho

you should give more points eg 1 for using the ult 1 for surviving the ult and 1 if you win the game so each hero has potential for 3 points, just gives motivation to actually try not just use ult and move on

I like these types of videos but, it would be so much more entertaining if everyone just played like normal and doesn't throw or die on purpose. Its just not fun if the playstyle is extremely passive and you just do nothing besides build ult.

What would be the rule if a player runs out of playable characters in a overwatch nuzlock? Would it just be the obvious rule of starting back down at zero and continue to play if it’s in the middle of a match? Or could there be a troll clause where Lifeweaver and Mei are back on the table for the remainder of the match to then be able to potentially mess with the progression of the rest of the group and maybe be able to target the one with the most points?
i feel like the last one u died on maybe u keep or ur just completely out of the challenge
