Ah, the classic Tank who jump halfway across the map in the middle of their entire team ALONE with no escape plan and expect their supports to out-heal the 1v5 (and that's when they aren't hiding behind corners)
Played a game last night on hollywood. Get into the lobby & our tank instantly types “surely this isn’t the 4th game in a row my team are shit” enemy tank told him “surely it’s always your team & not your own actions” he picked doom & fed all game. Proceeded to blame everyone lmao just to get called out by most the lobby telling him he is clearly the problem.
I had a game where both of our dps were upset (before the game even started) that I was playing Juno (switched to Moira) and the other support was play Kiri because we were playing DPS supports. They got themselves tilted and automatically started attacking us after we lost first point. I can’t stand these players that want you to coddle them and dedicate yourself to their cause.
@@nostalgjc1 I had a Sombra complain too. I was Kiri and the other support was Zen. Our Sombra was complaining that we weren’t healing them (We were winning at this point like actually rolling the other team) and she threw the game because she kept diving into the enemy team and going AFK.
Also, a thing as Moira that helps turn games for me sometimes is just enable the best dps on your team. I would have just said screw the tank and followed reaper around and helped him kill the backline. Its sometimes hard to realize that in the middle of a game but I have had many games turn around just because I started hunting kills with a reaper and just overwhelmed their squishy players. You just gotta accept the tank is gonna do what hes gonna do and decide to use Moiras kit to its fullest and win it yourself. Thats the big reason I play moira, because I know I can carry games offensively with her if I need to.
I personally rather have a healing moira than a dps moira. I have had games where a moira on my team would throw by never healing, but dps badly and dies constantly contributing nothing but a loss, but i do see your points.
Omg it's so weird that you said this lol I just started playing OW 2 ranked and I was playing Reaper, I was constantly trying to take pressure away from my teammates by shooting from behind the opposite team. It was working, but it seemed like my team was still being pressured heavily because it's like they still couldn't move forward even after I've killed a player or two. At one point I noticed the entire enemy team was holding a choke and far away from their support that was sitting near the payload (we were literally a few inches away from the third point) so I walked over and killed the support and his teammate came out of nowhere. I got him one shot and died AND I don't know how or when, my Kiriko teammate teleported to me and killed the guy and pushed the payload and we won! I'm so glad this player noticed what I was doing. Even though I'm new, I've noticed that a lot of players do not have very good situational awareness (or things like paying attention to their teammates location etc). That Kiriko literally won us the game with that move alone.
You can say this about any support really (except maybe weaver). Your job as support is to enable plays. Identify who the playmaker in any given fight or situation.

Ideally you’d want to db the Cass/Soldier but if they’re the payload babysitter then you go to someone else.
Reminded me on Oasis during comp, our Roadhod telling me to pick Mercy, a hero I’m not as good at, especially when the enemy team keeps going for me, and the Tank really wanted me to pocket them than me trying to help the others. We lost miserably and I got too much deaths in round 1. So I swap to Moira, who became a main of mine recently, and Roadhog kept telling me to switch back, even all caps. We did slightly better but still lost and the Roadhog typed that I got the ego. All I typed was “ironic.” At least I tried to adapt, my tank thinking all he needs just the one Mercy to live forever or something 😅
Honestly this tank is the typical tank player that usually gets double pocketed and pops off. Obviously it’s a lot easier to pop off on tank if you’re taking all of the team resources. They never adapt and just face tank all of the other teams damage and just think they’re not getting any heals.
Understandable. They play a mechanically demanding hero so they assume they must play perfectly just because they picked him. It ought to be the other way around but this idea never flies through their minds. Not exclusive to doom mains though.
How this doom feels about Moira players is how I feel every single game getting a doom as my tank pick. I always make sure to go Lifeweaver to stop them from over extending every fight then they cry bully the entire lobby because they like feeding.

Teammates like that Doom is the EXACT reason (other than me genuinely liking his gameplay loop/kit) why Lifeweaver is my TOP support and character- (I also just like the fact his healing tracks fliers/high jumpers, I'm not good at Mercy, and I don't have good enough aim for Ana-)
I just made it to plat 5 on support and i have to CONSTANTLY tell ppl " I CAN NOT HEAL YOU THROUGH WALLS. STAY WHERE I CAN SEE YOU. IF YOU GO BEYOND THE SCOPE OF MY HEALS, I WILL FOCUS ON DAMAGE AND NOT HEAL YOU."
I haven't seen the video yet, but I already know the Doom is going play bad which is why he's complaining. He probably punched in, 1v5'd the enemy team and died in more than one fight. It's funny that a Doom is complaining because most Doom mains can't play Doom. Edit: Before he switched to Hog, I can say I was almost right. Still right about him playing bad and mostly going in alone.
I played with a doomfist in comp the other day that threw bc we had a widow. Did nothing but stand in front of her and block her view. She had the most damage on our team by the end. Granted noone else on the team could really do anything, and we lost, but she still had the most dmg on the team.
Any doom mains in the chat rn? I play support and got a question, what support do yall like? I play mercy and it works okay but i feel i could support y'all better, any tips would help:) Edit: Y'all are so sweet thanks for the help:D
Personally I feel like doom players get their egos hurt when they getting diffed by another doom. then start flaming everyone for their own mistakes except their theirs
This is just me but I’m a support main and when I play tank, only in a 5-stack with friends as JQ and Zarya. I think that being a support main is extremely helpful if you’re playing tank.
As a moira player i definitely see things he could do better but this was just standard trash doom play. Its hard to do anything when you got a feeding tank. And yeah, tanks always blame moira. You can literally be hard carrying a game and have 2x the healing and dmg of anyone in the game and they will still say "trash dps moira" and stuff like that. It doesnt matter at all whats actually happening in the game. Also, I have never once seen a doomfist who didn't blame everyone else for their own bad play. Dooms are the worst.
Maybe I'm wrong but I think Moira is actually very good for dive tanks as she can help the tank finish the squishies and fade if it doesn't work. As a Winston main since recently, that's what I often lack, just some extra damage to the targets that run away at the last moment with 10 hp and basically make me feed. Skill issue on my part, ofc, I'm a relatively new and bad player. But just in case. A doom main could give this a thought too. Btw I main Moira on support and that's what I often excel at, finishing someone off. Kind of cheesy, I know, but it always works lol.
@Iscoileachme moira is good with any comp if the tank plays right. But the big problem with dive tanks is they like to go in 1v5 and expect you to use all your cooldowns to save them. Then once you do they jump away and leave you to die. My rule is if the tank is making good plays I support them and if they are feeding I just go dps mode. And moira will always be blamed for everything anyway so if they flame you who cares.
if anyone wonders what it is like to solo queue support, this video is a perfect example. i only once in a while get a tank that doesn't act like this. lmao
Edit:after another comment I reviewed the final death again and my first paragraph below defending their action is incorrect. They were just an idiot that ran through the lava. Existing paragraph is being left in tact so that the reply calling that out still has the context. To be fair, the final death from the JQ, they had limited choices on pushing forward or pulling back because of the lava. They were probably about to die no matter what. That said, amazingly poor game sense from the tank. I know I do this sometimes, but as soon as I die and realize I screwed up, I call myself out. That mostly happens when I think I've got someone pushing with me or I misread how many enemies I'm pushing into. Sometimes I feel like pushing up was what should have happened and I get frustrated that my team pulled back instead, but even then you need to be aware of what you're team is doing. If you are constantly over extending on only complaining the whole game about your teammates, thats completely on you 100%. At the very least you need to calm down and try to communicate that you want to push more because that's how you play a team came, not by yelling blame at them. Communicate and adjust as a team. Not a 'pushing to hard' issue, but the other week I was playing and not doing well on tank. I think I called it right that the Zarya getting double pocketed was a problem, but I never tried to say I was playing well and I never blamed anyone on my team for use not winning fights. In fact, I called out several good plays my teamates made. But on my comment about the double pocket, my team's solution was double pocket me to prove a point that I was a sucky tank, but what I MEANT when I said that is a double pocket Zarya is hard to kill, kill the supports first. After that didn't pan out (as we all expected, due to miscommunication on how to handle it) our Moira then said they were just going to go DPS, and I encouraged that because that's honestly what was going to work better for how well I wasn't playing. And the other guy flaming me was wasting time checking my profile mid fight to flame my time on my tank main vs other tanks. Yeah, these guys being a bit toxic has been living in my head rent free and I keep replaying all the other options I had that could have worked better than what I did (because again, I agree I wasn't playing well in that match), but I appreciate that at least parts of it were communicating on how to play around each other better. THAT part was good, and when THAT was the focus of the chat, we played better as a team and actually made progress vs being busy with blaming/flaming/toxic behavior. Whenever chat is being toxic, the whole team suffers.
@kiayaoi i'll check again but I could have sworn she got cut off real quick. Maybe I misviewed it, though. Edit: yep, I totally missaw that one. Literally ran THROUGH the existing lava placement like an idiot. Thanks for pointing that to me.
As much as i hate feeding dooms it’s best to at least play heroes that work with doom, moira can’t keep up with doom so running; kiriko or ana and sometimes lw is the better option and if you wanna flex support then zen, lucio, and brig are good
I get that moira is there for disabled players and players first learning. I still to this day don't believe it when people without physical disabilities, who have experience with the game, say they LOVE to play Moira. Like Ik I shouldn't be judgemental, but to me that's like loading into a game specifically for the purpose of not having fun. Like you get one button for movement expression and the rest of your kit, you do not even have to aim with. I just don't get it, even winning games playing Moira feels cheap. I'm not tryna be a dick, I just don't understand it
Some people just consider different things fun, and maybe her orbs and coal are fun for them. Like mercy has one of the biggest player base and the only thing they have to think ab is common sense and moving
This moria was fine. This doom was probably on tilt. You can only lose so many games with a moria main trash talking cause they got 12k damage and they still lost. Moira mains have always been the most toxic in my experience. This game was all on tank though
Im kinda new to the game and i havent met a toxic support yet. Tooooons of toxic tanks and a fair amount of toxic dps. Tanks are easily the worst tho lol
@Koselill that's fair there is a fair amount of toxic people in every role. Morias are usually the most toxic in my experience. I'm never upset to see a moria. I just adjust my Playstyle to expect low healing and am pleasantly surprised when they heal instead of unpleasantly surprised they don't
4:55 @ Emongg that's because you're the most wholesome human being in video game history somehow despite being a tank main and if you were struggling to play your style you'd swap off doom or switch styles... What you don't understand is most tank players especially at lower elo think the onus is on their supports to keep them alive no matter what. He doesn't need to have seen anything from the moira that warrants flaming. They can flame because the moira isn't feeding with them and therefore lacks the range as a character to keep them alive. Therefore it's their fault for being a moira main and not an Ana main.
Where are the twitch comments 😭 I like seeing your chat .. big sad 🥺 still love you tho 🩷 I feel like the only problem with Moira is being just a tiny fat ulting and hand abilities. I know she has farther reach now, just my opinion...

Teammates like that Doom is the EXACT reason (other than me genuinely liking his gameplay loop/kit) why Lifeweaver is my TOP support and character-
(I also just like the fact his healing tracks fliers/high jumpers, I'm not good at Mercy, and I don't have good enough aim for Ana-)
Videos like this make me understand most doom players are terrible
Any doom mains in the chat rn? I play support and got a question, what support do yall like? I play mercy and it works okay but i feel i could support y'all better, any tips would help:)
Edit: Y'all are so sweet thanks for the help:D
Ana zen kiriko and brig (sometimes)
Mercy isn’t ideal especially since you should be focusing more on dps with mercy, not pocketing the tank with heals
Kiri is Always a safe pick, but it really depends on what the other support is playing, I've done decently well with bap zen, bap Lucio etc... .
Lifeweaver with pull ;)
there is no answer. They just expect to be perma healed no matter what. No matter what you pick they will dive 1v5 and die and blame you.
Personally I feel like doom players get their egos hurt when they getting diffed by another doom. then start flaming everyone for their own mistakes except their theirs
I'm gonna take a page out of Overwatch Anonymous and say "No amount of healing can heal your positioning".
This is just me but I’m a support main and when I play tank, only in a 5-stack with friends as JQ and Zarya. I think that being a support main is extremely helpful if you’re playing tank.
beefpounder3 💀
more moira players need to watch arx so they can learn how to get value with their orbs ngl
It's simple. People with inflated egos have to always blame other people or else it scuffs their ego. It's like clockwork every time.
ALRIGHT SO
if anyone wonders what it is like to solo queue support, this video is a perfect example. i only once in a while get a tank that doesn't act like this. lmao
Im trying to be a better person , and its very hard
Whenever chat is being toxic, the whole team suffers.
no way!! she literally wasn't even in the lava until she pushed!
@kiayaoi i'll check again but I could have sworn she got cut off real quick. Maybe I misviewed it, though.
Edit: yep, I totally missaw that one. Literally ran THROUGH the existing lava placement like an idiot. Thanks for pointing that to me.
*_ALLLRRIIIGGGHHHHTTTTTT!_*
It was literally the tanks fault 😂
Where is chat? Where has chat gone?
the chat was gone T.T
Doom mains don't get to talk. Literally, 10% of them are good, and the rest are throwing 24/7.
This game was a doom diff tbh
As much as i hate feeding dooms it’s best to at least play heroes that work with doom, moira can’t keep up with doom so running; kiriko or ana and sometimes lw is the better option and if you wanna flex support then zen, lucio, and brig are good
This was low Diamond Emongg said? And im looking at a Doomfist on both teams on first round? Console is something else bro.
This tank is in Plat?!?!?!! Wtf?!??
You were not first pal.
Sombra and Reaper are not a good combination
id play lw w doom if ur a moicyplayer
Why has torb been played so much lately?? I find it so boring fighting with and against him. Kinda has been ruining the game for me
i dont get it, why ppl still play doom
QR6DTM pls can anyone watch this and tell me what can i improve ( 42/1 game df otp still lost)
Meow
Yeah because i was first
first
4:55 @ Emongg that's because you're the most wholesome human being in video game history somehow despite being a tank main and if you were struggling to play your style you'd swap off doom or switch styles...
Where are the twitch comments 😭 I like seeing your chat .. big sad 🥺 still love you tho 🩷
I feel like the only problem with Moira is being just a tiny fat ulting and hand abilities. I know she has farther reach now, just my opinion...
14:41 if they were a bronze bingo card Mercy, maybe 😂
Can silver players get on plat lobbies? Im starting to think the tank just filled in to complete the lobby
