Nope, those would be in the Amazon. And they actually could not survive in this brackish water.

dangerousfishbowl they sure look like the saltwater Sphaeramia nematoptera (the pajama cardinalfish) found from Java to Fiji.

Appparently so. The water is brackish but according to Wikipedia, Vallisneria can tolerate that. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vallisneria_americana
