Really? The city has changed a bit since the 90's, but the culture and Japaneseness is still the same! I hope you will continue to travel Japan with my channel☺️
A capsule hotel in Semba, booked every day? Not surprised. Like 200-300 m away from night time areas (main Shinsaibashi / Amemura zones) but far enough that it's not THAT loud. Feels weird when I watch one of your videos and think: "Yep, I know the area"
This is a legal issue in Japan. Simple accommodation cannot be locked. This is because there are strict conditions and space restrictions to register as a hotel. That's a strange law.
@@SUKIYAKITravel Perhaps these measures make staying in these hotels a little cheaper. Before I thought there was some central air conditioning connecting these dorms in the form of capsules, but as they have to use a kind of curtain instead of a door, the cooled air could not remain isolated inside them (making it very difficult to use these spaces during hot summer nights), apart from the loss of acoustic insulation, it would not be necessary to ask tenants to avoid making noise (even when using a cell phone), if those inside these capsules would hear almost none of the noise coming from outside.
Think the law says accomodationa without locking personal room doors are considered capsule hotels. In this one, the open drop ceilings gap at the top of the room is also a factor I'd imagine.

This is my style of "capsule" room, something I can get in and out of the bed easily.
What a lovely hotel! I can see why they are popular!
Awesome video. 😊
I just have seen that hotel couple times but still one of the best videos 😊
I lived in Japan in the 90s and miss it every day.

Clean and stylish hotel!! When I visit Osaka, I'll stay here!! Thanks a lot.
Love it 👌
Thank you for watching!
Nice, do they provide makeup room everyday?
There is a women-only area, so there is a large space where you can do your makeup!

thanks
Cost 5,400 Yen in the month of June or the P rooms. I guess the poster went in April when it was off-peak season?

Why can’t capsule rooms have locks?

Can’t site on.

I don't know why they even call it a capsule hotel when really these are just small ordinary hotel rooms surely?!

Too sterile design in my opinion. I prefer the classic capsule hotels with spa and restaurant in the more ancient Japanese style.
