In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, they have a vending machine at the Carnegie Science Center where a robot makes your frozen yogurt. You choose what flavor, and two toppings, and an animation runs while you watch your cup of frozen yogurt be prepared by the robot.🙂

Thank you for your comment! It's fascinating to hear that there are vending machines like that in America. Frozen yogurt sounds great! I'll have to look it up. I appreciate you sharing that with me.

I'm a disabled veteran that owns a pre-revenue startup company.
It's my dream to one day have these machines like yours in a cafe of my own, and maybe all over the USA someday! Videos like yours are my inspiration for what to put in my shop, once I get one!

So the Mansei katsu sandwich is up to Y800. Five years ago it was Y700. Of course, with exchange rates, it was probably more expensive back then at 700 than it is now at 800 for a foreign tourist.

Thank you for your comment. So it was ¥700 five years ago. In recent years, especially in Tokyo and Osaka, prices for tourists in Japan have been changing day by day.

Thank you for your comment. Vending machines in Japan are a bit more expensive than stores, but they’re really fun because there are so many of them. I’ve seen Indonesian street stalls in videos, and they look so delicious!

At the egg vending machine did you put in 300 yen but got a 200 yen pack? And that bread vending machine - its system's a bit odd, being based on customer's integrity.

Thank you for your comment. It was an editing mistake on my part, the correct price is ¥300/$2.11. In Japan, besides bread, vegetables and other items are also sold in those locker-style vending machines.

There isn't an alarm that goes off, just a security camera. In the countryside, it seems like thefts sometimes happen.

Thank you for your comment. I don't know how to make one, but you might be able to ask a vending machine installation company in Japan.

In Japan, it seems that whale meat was commonly eaten in the past.
