I have the Foudroyante-Felix version with the same coloured dial, and it's stunning. I have also handled the Chrono Felix at a local collector's meeting, and I can confirm that the pusher feel is better and crisper than any cam operated chronograph I have ever encountered.
I love all these independents you’ve been featuring lately!
That is very classy wath. Looks amazing
Why are these Habring² pieces sold by 1916 on a non-OEM strap? It's clearly a nice strap and I like the look, but wouldn't value be higher with an original strap provided by Habring² to replace a worn strap on a used watch?
That's the thinnest 7750-based chrono I remember ever seeing. Rotor or not, that's a thick movement. Perfect salmon too.
@@stanwilson7040 There's Stan Wilson. Long time, I was wondering, when is classy Stan going to harangue me in the comments and looks like today is my lucky day. Keep it classy Stan!
I've got the Doppel Felix Rattrapante (split-seconds) version and it's one of my most accurate watches. And I love it how every Habring2 watch comes with a set of spare parts which covers pretty much everything that Richard has seen needs to be replaced over the many years he's been making these. But it's unlikely you'll need them as they're also more reliable than the old 7750's.
I received my Habring2 in May 2023, and they have stopped supplying spare parts with the watch since earlier this year (although there were extra gaskets in my box, possibly by mistake). They said that people who sent their watches back for service kept the spare parts anyway, so they had to fit new ones. Apparently this also allowed them to avoid any significant price increase this year (ref. the 44% price hike on some JLC-models...)
And yes, they are almost uncannily accurate. Mine has been running about +0.5/day for the last couple of weeks.
Very elegant
Haven't seen drilled lugs on a high end piece in a while. That's like early 90s Tudor.
If they are capable of manufacturing a 7750 clone, why not make an original?
Reliability and ease of servicing ?
