- The Yonex Percept 97 Light is a great tennis racket for me! I chose the lighter version with 290g/ 10.2 oz. unstrung and I find it to be super manoeuvrable yet very stable. My main concern when trying new rackets is that I have control even when I hit some balls off center and the Percept certainly is forgiving. The SERVO FILTER reduces unwanted vibrations.
The FlexCon System allows the racquet shaft to flex and extend the ball pocketing duration, making it easier for players to control and place the ball accurately.
STIFF RACQUET FACE DESIGN adds more stability on the racquet face, providing improved consistency in ball trajectory.

Good point coach, it gets to the point of anxiety when looking at all those micro analysis of racquet specs and customization when deciding on a racquet.
Agree. I always liked the "base version" first and then made adjustments to like it even more. But I never made adjustments to a racket that didn't feel great in the beginning only to make it fit me.

Good luck with your new racquet. I'm an Ezone 98 user since 2022 and now been toying with getting the regular Percept 98. I hear it is amazing stick for serving and I want to give that a go. I am attracted to the 310g stick weight for stability and prefer a more control oriented racquet. I love the EZone but sometimes it can be a bit too powerful.
I have an Ezone & a Vcore. Now you are tempting me to buy another racket! 😄
As I said in the video, now I also have to make a choice every time I hit bc I can’t make up my mind which one I like best!!!!

I'm looking for an arm friendly racquet for a previous rotator shoulder issue. Have you tried the Pro Kennex and Wilson Triad lines. All the online reviewers seem to skip on those models. It's a shame as a number of tennis players have arm or shoulder issues. I feel it's an ignored segment. No doubt, the new stiffer poly strings and frames have contributed to this wave of injuries.
I love your videos! You’re great and explain things in a very simple manner. Between Vcore and Yonex which one do you recommend for maximum power on serve and aggressive hitting? Big attacking shots! I play ITF senior tournaments (both singles and doubles )

Found the 100 light good as well. So is Blade 100 but a lot more effort and outcomes no better.
Can switching to a 100inch racket benefit an advanced player?

I know the specs of both the rackets but I would like to know how they play on the court. I can't demo them in my home town or else I definitely would have.
