Sexually abused by former Manchester City Scout Barry Bennell

As a young boy, David was an avid footballer and met Barry Bennell at a Butlins holiday camp, where Bennell was the resident football coach at the time. Being promised a bright future in football by Bennell, David stayed overnight with the offender in order to play in a football tournament near Manchester the next day. It was at this point where Bennell's true intentions came to light.
Barry Bennell has been convicted on multiple accounts of sexual abuse to a number of young boys.
As a victim and survivor of sexual abuse, David regularly speaks out about his experience and provides advice to other victims about making a civil claim.
