He's old school and can't keep up with the PC world. His overall message is good although terribly presented and worded. This was like low hanging fruit for GMB when the fact is conversations like this happen in pubs up n down the country, deep down the guy meant well

It wasn’t a deliberate attempt to offend anyone just a lack of understanding.
Eric was Eric , he was old school and didn’t have the knowledge how to change in todays climate , he was a dart player not a criminal
As usual Piers and susannah using a holier than thou attitude to him cos some people got upset by what he said. He is of old scholl which means he said what he felt..but nowadays no one is allowed to upset anyones feelings...i fel they deliberately wanted to humble him and just wanted to hear him retract his comments. I knew the man he wasnt cruel or careless, he didnt always articulate correctly..but he meant well by what he said. Piers is very rude to people and susannah judges from her high horse.
